Colton and I picked up a case that came up from some local police investigations over some missing people. Vampires were the suspects and we found them and the missing people, who are now also vampire recruits because 'the prophet' told them to build their numbers. We had a bit of a scuffle, the new vampires agreed to report to the Council and get help with their transitions, while the others will be facing some vampire elder.

They're getting so fussy lately after all the 'attacks' that have been going on. It's not hard people, do the right thing, obey the law and we're all good.

I remember Elise mentioning something about that the other day and of course, the one I want to see her (and introduce Colton) she isn't in this damn bar. Colton seems impressed that I know the owner, and that Paul is giving us free drinks. They're getting along well actually, he has that 'thing' about him that makes him so easy to get along with.  

We're having to part ways for a couple of weeks tomorrow. I know it's early, and I shouldn't, but I'm going to miss him. I wonder if he'll ask me to be his girlfriend? Not that I care too much if he doesn't. But he'll call. I'm sure he will. It's been too long since I've dated anyone. I can't even remember my last serious boyfriend. It was probably at the Academy, but I didn't really like them. I'm glad those days are behind me though, that I don't do things just to annoy Elise and we're over our petty competitions.

Makes me wonder though, if she isn't here, where the hell is she? 

 She's like, always here on a Saturday night. 

I bet she and Apollo are off somewhere fabulous together. Must be so nice to be your own plane and just, zap away to where ever you want. Lucky bitch.
