Alfie and Annipe lingered outside the gateway, unsure what to do yet knowing they needed to find their master. As Alfie's tongue flicked out, the magic that had been present here burned and the need to find her became consuming. They both knew from millenia old instincts that it would mean danger; power like this didn't come easily.

"Alfie go find Elisss-sse."

"Annife go too."

"Ss-tay. Keep old blood safe. Keep same blood safe. Mass-ter tell uss." He ordered his companion.

"Keep Alfie safe too?" She raised her head up to his. "Mass-ter want that too!"

He was torn.

What would his master want more? She always said to look after Alfie, for him to keep Annipe safe. Keep old blood and same blood safe. Family. Elise was family. She was master. Need to keep master safe. It was too hard for him to think clearly as what ever it was that chained him to Elise urged him to through the magic water and find her, yet she needed her family to be safe.

"What if family ss-ssafe now. What if only massster needss us?" He asked Annipe.

"Then we go."

Before he could think about it anymore, she swiftly took off and vanished into the blue. Alfie liked the water, but he hadn't seen anything like this before. The magic water scared him, but if Master had gone into it, and Annipe - so could Alfie.
