Four.
Licking my lips, the tang of whatever they had used to knock me out snapped me out of my dreams. My head was pounding and opening my eyes, the dim light was enough to stop anything hiding in the dark. The handcuffs that kept me from moving my arms were not as welcomed as the lighting.
Slowly I managed to sit up, looking around the rather modern and luxurious bedroom. The walls were a simple pale blue and black drapes blocked the window. The sparkling of the chandelier above me got my attention and positive I was alone; I got up and walked around the space, hoping they had screwed up and left the key sitting on the dresser.
I wasn't that lucky and before I could look around anymore, tree boy was back and pulled me out of the bathroom.
"Let me go!" I don't know why I bothered screaming at him, he wasn't going to do what I asked and he worked himself at such an angle I couldn't really fight him off either. My verbal attack was pathetic, and with my final insult I decided just to shut up. "I know termites and I'm not afraid to use them!"
We left the bedroom and he pulled me along by the chain between the cuffs. I figured he was going to take me to Aaron; at least I was kind of hoping that as it was better the devil you know. In one last attempt at breaking free, I threw myself at him. He was like concrete and didn't even stumble, just made some grunting sound and kept going.
"What are you?" I called out, trying to take note of the way we were going.
"Gub."
"Gub?"
Was that his name or his species or was he just making sounds?
"Well Gub, where are we going?"
"Boss."
So he did speak.
As we got the top of the stairs, Gub kept walking and stopping I weighed up my options. Falling down the stairs might not be as bad as it sounds so holding my breath in preparation I gathered myself up and as Gub turned to see why I wasn't moving, I charged - tackling him. Not expecting it, and already balancing on the edge of the stairs, he was easy to knock down this time.
Even better, he let go off the chain between my wrists and I was able to grab the railing while he tumbled down like a log over a waterfall. I wanted to stare at him longer; I'd never seen anything like him. He was literally a tree, a slightly human shaped tree and the jerk even gave me a splinter.
Standing up, I turned back the way we came and started running. The corridors were bare and lacking any homey touches so I wondered if Aaron had just moved in. It also made them all look the same and taking a few wrong turns, I ended up at the top of another staircase and with nothing to lose ran down it.
The smells of bread baking had me following my nose and seeing the metal swing doors of a kitchen, I peeked through the porthole style window to see an old lady, kneading dough while beside her a tray of rolls sat cooling.
Whistling a tune to herself, I waited until she disappeared and slunk through the doors. Seeing the knives on the wall to my left, I could hear her in another room and quickly took down a meat cleaver. Leaving the kitchen, no one had come running down the halls that surrounded me yet and hiding in a door way I started to try and cut the chain between my wrists. A few near misses that would have ended up with me one handed, I finally started to dent the metal. It wasn't great quality, but I couldn't get the strength up to get a clear cut. In the end I nearly broke my wrists by using my foot to push against the weak spot and crying out, the chain gave way.
Red marks made my wrists swollen from the pulling, but I could move easier. Leaving the actual cuffs on as new bracelets, I kept the cleaver close as I planned my escape. Kitchens were normally near back doors and if I could get find that, I could get out - even if I was curious to see what Aaron wanted. It was then the prickling on the back of my neck sent a shiver down my spine. That only meant one thing; trouble.
Finding another door, I kept my weapon close as I reached out to the handle and slowly turning it, the gust of cool air had me feeling hopeful and opening a little further I dared to peek out. I couldn't stop the squeal of surprise as Aaron stood there and I ended up pushing the door the rest of the way open. Standing in the dark with only the light from inside to see him by, he started clapping - amusement all over his features.
"Not bad, not bad at all!" He taunted.
Hearing the footsteps behind me, I turned to find two groups of three vampires coming from either side and rolling my eyes, I didn't see an easy way out this. With a grunt of effort I sent the cleaver flying through the air with the intention of stabbing Aaron, maybe even beheading him, only to find myself stopping in my steps as he caught it effortlessly. Impressive.
"Really Miss Bunting, was that necessary?"
I only glared and as the first vampire went to touch me, he got my elbow in his face and the other was kicked in the stomach, which sent him stumbling back through the doorway.
"Enough! Shall we walk?" The command from Aaron was clear and the others stopped their attack. To my surprise he held out his arm and not liking my chances of disobeying him took it. "Smart girl."
"What do you want?" I sighed, slightly breathless from my activities so far.
"Still straight to the point I see," he smiled down at me clearly enjoying himself. "You know, in your current state you're moving quite well."
He stopped our leisurely walk through the dark gardens of what I had guessed to be some kind of estate. His dark eyes looked me over, sending a shiver of disgust through my body.
"Hunter, we don't heal as quickly as you guys, but we do get some perks with the job."
"Right," he smiled a brief fake smile and didn't hide his fangs before he kept walking. "Follow me Elise; I would not push the boundaries of our friendship just yet."
"Friendship?" I asked in disbelief, slowly following behind.
"How have you been since that dreadful night? I do send my condolences in regards to your, friend."
"You don't get to talk about that or him!" I snapped. If only looks could kill. "Why am I here, enough fucking around!"
With a growl, he had knocked me over and with his hand around my throat I didn't get a chance to take a breath. "You will watch your tongue with me girl, this may not be the world I left behind, but I still demand some respect!"
If he wanted respect, this wasn't how he got it. Throwing my leg up, I was surprised he left himself open for that kind of attack as my knee met its target between his legs. With a hiss, his eyes changed to that of the vampire and bringing my legs up underneath him, managed to flip him over. His defence was appalling and getting up I couldn't get in enough air. Turning I braced myself just in time for his attack. I had no weapons other than my body, and unless I got something to stake him with, it was going to be a pointless scuffle.
"Feisty!" He hissed, standing he dusted himself off before looking at me with a rather cold and calm demeanour. "I mean it Hunter; I am not someone you want to make an enemy of!"
It occurred to me then, he hadn't actually hurt me and he didn't fight back either. I stood a little taller, dropping my hands to my sides and still glaring at him admitted defeat in this round. The dark of the night only seemed to add his intimidating presence and while his eyes no longer glowed red, the moon light did nothing to help make him look any less demonic.
"Shall we keep walking?" This time as he passed by me, the knock of his shoulder against my arm was obviously intentional and the gentleman act was dropped. "So how is your course coming along?"
"It's not. I thought I could do the study thing, but it's not for me." I stopped myself from saying more. How did he know what I was doing?
"I can imagine how mundane a task school must be for someone like you. With monsters like me running around the place, what does an assignment really matter?"
"Right." I answer cautiously.
"My dear, don't be so guarded. I have been watching you for months now, you and your human, boyfriend." He taunted, making my heart start racing as fear filled me. Aaron clearly knew it too, smirking like he had a secret he couldn't keep. "It's good you let him go, playing human really wasn't becoming of you!"
"Leave him out of this!" The warning in my voice wasn't missed.
"Oh I intend to, but not all of my staff listens to what I have to say."
"You better be kidding me, his life is not something to joke around with! He is an innocent!"
"Temper, temper, maybe I was wrong. Maybe you do have feelings for the human? Tell me, what attracts you to a man? Do you find the weak to make yourself feel stronger, more important? Or-"He didn't get to finish as I slapped him. The sound of my palm on his skin was even louder in the silence of the garden and his head snapped to the side from the force of it.
The fact he only laughed didn't help my building rage.
"Doing things like that won't get you out of here any quicker!" He warned, rubbing the area where I had hit.
"Enough, why am I here?"
"Funny you should ask, I want your help." He grinned, and turning we headed back towards the house.
"My help? You sure have a funny way of asking for it."
"I am well aware of your little friends looking for me. I want you to make them stop."
"I don't have that power."
"No, perhaps not. You see, I am just getting used to this world. I do owe Francis a great deal for locking me away, back then the Slayers were closing in on me. Either she killed me, or they would - but you see she couldn't." He opened the door and gestured I go in first.
"I have no idea why, it's not like you're a joy to be around."
He ignored my comment. "She gave me time, and now I have returned I don't plan on dying or being locked away again. I never asked to be released, that wasn't my doing and so I do not believe I should be the one punished for it."
"And what of your crimes they were hunting you down for?"
"I bet you your human's life; they don't even know what crimes I committed or could be trialled for. They just know I did some bad things. Records were easily altered back then without this technology nonsense, my name will appear nowhere in their documents!" He grinned victoriously and I hated the fact he had a point. The vampires could protest he wasn't given a fair trial and that would open up all sorts of protests and unrest. Things were still settling down after the portal incident, we didn't need that too.
"Stop bringing Matt into this!" I yelled, hating how bare the house was kept. There was nothing I could find to use as a weapon against him.
"Fine, or how about we make one that's not so, serious? I'll give you a week and if you can find my name, my real name, I won't kill your friends that are after me?"
"How is that not as serious? How does this even help you and why me?"
"Because if you believe I won't be facing a fair trial, I know you won't let them kill me. You are a good person Elise; I admire your spirit and empathy. After all, you could have left Opal and that Tracker girl in Selene's hold, but you rescued them. Just like you, well like you tried to do with the Hunter and that same Tracker girl." He looked thoughtful for a moment, "How is she by the way? Did the Trackers ever reunite?"
Well that confirms he was behind that and I ignored the bait he was setting.
"You must be getting desperate if you're trying to drag me into this. Hurting, threatening or even killing my friends isn't the way to get me on your side. I really don't care if you are innocent or guilty; I just want you out of my life. You didn't ask for this, I didn't ask for it either! Keep running Aaron, because they will catch you and I will be glad when they do!" I growled, no longer willing to play along with his games.
"So, no deal?" His innocence was faked, it was ridiculous really.
"How about this. You let me go and leave all us to our own lives and we can just forget this even happened?"
Then he laughed. "I don't think you're in any position to try bargaining with me Hunter."
More vampires appeared on the staircase and in each exit point around the foyer we were standing in. If I had thought we were outnumbered in the warehouse, this was worse.
"So if I find your real name, then what?" I guess he had another point; the odds weren't exactly swinging my way right now.
"Then maybe you won't think I'm so horrible to have around compared to the others."
More games? Groaning I threw up my arms in frustration. "Oh what the fuck now, others?"
"Watch your tongue Elise. While I am glad she did it, Francis didn't come up with the idea of sending me to the Other World by herself. It had been done before and being so weak willed, she was easily swayed to do it again."
"What aren't you telling me?" More than alarm bells were going off in my head.
"Do we have a deal?"
"No. Just tell me what's going on!" I practically begged.
"Where would the fun be in that, and maybe once you've had a change of mind you might be more willing to assist me? I'm not above playing dirty to get what I want."
Everything stopped around me as all I could see was Aaron. My breathing was halted, I couldn't hear and the only thing told me I hadn't passed out was the feel of my heart hammering in my chest and the fact I could see him walking towards me. The look on his face was unreadable, evil and I didn't have alarms ringing in my mind any more - it was bombs going off.
The first two vampires came forward to grab my arms and forgetting Aaron I was left fighting for freedom as the others closed in. It was a pointless task, but I wasn't going to give up. Even once I couldn't move, pinned down from all sides I refused to stop wriggling until Aaron hovered above me.
"I wonder how your Tracker will love you now or if your brother will still want you around. Do you think the Slayer is going to keep his word to the one who died or will he be the one to kill you?"
"What are-"The words got stuck in my throat as his fangs tore into my throat. I knew Reece biting my arm had hurt, the feeding that followed was torture only I don't remember being this bad. What ever venom that they released when feeding found it's way into my system and the pain was forgotten. Slowly I felt my arms being let go and now I had the chance, I couldn't fight.
"You know, you all have your own unique taste. I think it's the Slayer blood in you that makes it so much better!" I couldn't focus on Aaron as his tongue snaked around his mouth, removing the blood, my blood, that painted his skin. "Let's see she how she co-operates once she is one of us."
Another vampire moved to pry open my mouth and as soon as Aaron removed something from his pocket, I realised what he planned to do. My voice was weak and hoarse as I slumped down to my knees. "No!"
"Sorry sweetheart. I need to make sure you're on my team!" I had no hope of avoiding it as his slit his wrist, hovering the wound over my mouth as his blood began to pour down my throat. Instantly starting coughing and heaving it back up, yet he didn't stop, slicing more to increase the flow his eyes never left mine until I was nearly at the point of passing out.
"This will only hurt for a moment, but don't worry, when you wake up you'll feel as good as new!" He whispered into my ear so gently, the pain that tore through my abdomen was barely felt as I passed out, falling into his arms.

I had never been more aware of the fact the sun was about to rise. Every inch of my body was tingling with heat; like I had been standing under a hot shower for too long and I had to get out. Problem with that was, I wasn't in a shower I was in a cell and looking around the window in one of the corners let enough light in to make me cower away from it.
What the hell?
"Oh thank god you're awake!" Matt blocked the sight of the window from my view as he crouched down in front of me. He looked a mess and the bruise on his cheekbone only made him look manlier.
"Matt?"
"I was so worried about you Ellen; I woke up in here to see you with your frigging stomach ripped open. I couldn't detect a pulse and there was so much blood!" He started to freak out, his panic rising to an unsafe level. "Who the hell are those guys?"
I didn't answer; looking down my shirt was torn and still damp with my blood. Where I had been laying was stained with red and lifting my shirt there was barely any pink left on the scar. Soon it would be gone, the vampire blood healing its new vessel.
Vampire blood.
Getting up, the head spin that followed had me swaying on the spot and Matt was there to help me regain my balance. I quickly pushed him away, the first faint sounds of the erratic beating of his heart greeting me. "That fucking bastard!"
"Who? Please, tell me what's going on? Is it the government; terrorists? Oh god, its terrorists isn't it?" I don't blame Matt for freaking out. Any normal person would.
Going to the door, it was sealed tight. No window, no gaps, no handle on the inside. Just perfect.
"Ellen please!" He cried desperately. The more freaked out he was getting, the louder his heart beat became, and what was that smell?
"It's Elise, Matt. Not Ellen. You have no idea how much danger you're in right now. I need you to calm the fuck down." I growled.
"Who are they, why are they so dangerous?"
"This will sound stupid, but right now, they're not a danger to you. I am."
I was in front of him before I could think of even moving, the smell coming from him was like all my favourite things rolled into one. Delicious.
"Are you bleeding anywhere?" Trying not to sound like a bitch failed, and it came out like an accusation not a question.
"No, why?"
He was. I could smell it. Grabbing the top of his head, I yanked it down towards me and the sight of the dried, but still thereblood I felt my mouth water. Shit.
"Do exactly as I say. No arguments."
He only nodded, his eyes widening in fear and I didn't want to know what he could see right now.
"I'm going to give you a boost, tell me what you can see out that window. Do you think you could crawl out?"
"I'm bigger than you, shouldn't I boost you?"
"Did you miss the do what I say part?" I snapped at him and with a sigh he put his foot in the step I provided and with a grunt of effort I lifted him up.
"There are trees, if not for the bars I could maybe get through."
"Just stay here under the window. I need a minute." He said nothing, and inside I was screaming with the urge to just taste what was running through his veins hidden so cleverly under his skin.
Break the window. Move the bars. Get him out.
"Ok, you're going to boost me this time." I slipped off my sweater and wrapped my hand in the fabric, pausing as the thought of glass falling in here could cut him.
Before stepping up, I tugged his hoodie over his head. "Look down and don't let the glass cut you!"
"Glass?"
The smash that followed shut him up and the gust of fresh air was heavenly. The sun made me squint my eyes and with the glass gone I started trying to tug on the bars. I felt stronger, better and yet it wasn't enough to make them budge.
Leaning against the wall, I started to feel trapped. "Any luck?"
"No." I moved to the opposite corner and just stared at Matt. How many times did we make out with me kissing around his throat? I know how soft the skin is there and getting lost in thought about what it feel like to be the one biting, not being bitten had me standing back up. "You need to stay away from me Matt."
"It's a bit late for that don't you think?" He groaned, his shoes crunching on the broken glass.
Fiddling with my ring, I froze and quickly pulled it off. Slipping it into my pocket, I started thinking of Jordan, Zane and Logan before thinking of Drew. I wonder if he would taste as good as he looked. I wonder if Logan did. Did personality come out in blood? Would I be able to taste the chemistry Logan and I had?
"You're eyes, Elise; did you get glass in them?" Matt snapped me out of my thoughts and everything now seemed clearer, right down to the throbbing skin just under his ear.
Just do it.
Stop fighting it.
They're all right - choose the winning team.
Matt was nice, he'd forgive me right?
"Can you tell me who these guys are now?" He sat down in the corner, surrounded by light and glass. It wasn't enough to keep me away.
"Vampires."
I stalked towards him with slow, seductive steps as he laughed with disbelief. "No, really. Who are they?"
The ache in my gums excited me now, and opening my mouth, Matts dropped as he saw my own fangs developing. "Vampires!"
I sat on his lap as he was frozen in fear and instinctively went in for the kill. That was until his shaky words held me back. "Elise!"
Instead I kissed the spot I longed to bite into. He tensed, holding his breath. "Matt, I need you to punch me."
"Wh-What?" I couldn't make myself pull away, this was wrong, so wrong, but... the temptation was so strong.
"Hit me; kick me, whatever the fuck knocks me out!"
With a frustrated growl I fell backwards, forcing myself to back off.
"I can't hit you!"
"Do you want to die?"
"No!"
"Then do it!"
I stood up and so did he, "Are you sure?"
With my nod he clenched his first and as he took a swing, I instantly ducked and ended up pushing him against the wall. My lame attempt at an attack must have triggered his survival instinct as the next time he swung out, everything went black.

Being strapped to a bed may be considered fun to some people. Maybe if they had Logan's non-stop chatter beside them, they wouldn't think fun was the right word to use. The fact he now decided to start reading the newspaper feedback column out to me made me borderline suicidal.
"Anne Dargo, thirty three, housewife writes, for the last six years I have walked by Peace Park with my children and never have I- oh there's a game we can play. Never have I? What do you think?"
"I think if you don't shut up, I going to use that shotgun by the door to blow my own brains out."
He finally went quiet, reading the paper in silence instead. Closing my eyes, I wanted to sleep. Instead I ended up rolling my wrists, tugging on the restraints looking for a weak point.
"So your friend is kind of freaked out. I spoke to the Treaty Keepers and they're sending a fae over to remove his memories and we'll be able to send him on his way. They'll put a protection spell over him too so it won't happen again." Jordan came and sat by Logan, before seeing what I was doing.
Coming over he checked the ties and satisfied sat beside me. "I'm sorry Ellie, you know we can't risk you getting a taste for blood."
"I know. Can you all just, get out?"
"No." Jordan and Logan answered at the same time.
"I totally get it now. I do. I don't know how any of them resist the urge to destroy us. All those times around Darius, how did he not maul me?" Again I felt the prick of my fangs against my lip; the closer and longer Jordan sat there, the harder it was getting to remain civil.
"You're just desperate because it's the first time. If you turned into one, it wouldn't be this bad for long. Don't you remember anything from school?" Jordan lectured.
"I slept through most of the vamp crap, if I even turned up," then something else occurred to me. "Jord, where is Alfie?"
"We thought it best if he didn't see you like this." Chris came to stand in the doorway, but I forgot about all of them when I sensed Zane coming in. It was like a magnetic pull and sitting up on the bed, the conversation around me became mute.
Slayer.
He walked in looking more dangerous than I felt. His face was dark, and not once did he look at me. "Can you give us a minute?"
"No." Jordan and Logan answered together again.
"It wasn't a question!" Zane kept his tone quiet, yet that was enough for both to get out and Zane closed the door behind them, locking it.
"Do you think the Slayer is going to keep his word to the one who died or will he be the one to kill you?" Aaron haunted me in the back of mind.
I curled my legs up underneath me, wanting to hold them only the restraints didn't allow for that much movement. He was scary Zane again, the one who beat me in the car park after I was abducted and always managed to be lurking around when I didn't want a reality check.Fear was good. I was too scared to even think of trying to bite him.
"When we got there and Matt told us what happened, fuck Elise! I'm so sorry I wasn't there sooner!"
I wasn't expecting that, or the fact he actually had tears pooling in the corner of his eyes.
"Zane, it doesn't matter. Just don't let it happen to me!" Now I was crying.
"I won't. He'll need an army to get in here tonight and your snake is pretty pissed off too."
"Do you think Alfie can fix this?" I asked hopefully.
"I dunno. Would you want to risk it?"
"Just let him in, I can feel how stressed he is." That wasn't a lie. Part of my earlier agitation wasn't from the temptation of Logan, but Alfie.
"Alright. I'm going to kill that bastard, did he say to you about why he did this?"
"He thought if I was one of them, I'd be more willing to help him."
"Help him do what?" Zane looked exhausted and I felt bad his current state was probably thanks to me.
"I don't know. He wants me to find out his real name and he said there are others. He wasn't the first one sent that way to the Other World."
"He wants to open the portal again?"
"No, I think they might already be out."
We both went quiet and the sound of his heart was as hypnotizing as the ticking of a clock, it was a beautiful sound and closing my eyes I could imagine the rush of blood going through him with each beat.
"Are you getting your fangs out for me?" Zane teased, and snapping my eyes open to glare at him he lost his smile. "I'll go get the snake."
"Don't! Stay!" I begged, feeling desperate to be close to him. Pouting usually worked on him, and Jordan only clearly not when I was on the brink of turning into a demon. So I went all out, crying - hanging my head in shame, "Please don't leave me alone!"
I lost myself then, once again I wasn't in control. I knew what was happening, but I couldn't stop it. Just like when I had sat with Reece, the conflict within me was up and down. Thanks to Zane coming closer, there was no way I could hold back. Like a lion waiting in the grasses, I wrangled the beast within me - not needing to chase as my prey came to me. I let him stroke my hair as I sobbed against my legs, felt his kiss on top of my head and the whisper of his words in my ear, surprised me. "Nice try."
Furious I moved quicker than I thought possible and snapped out at him. "Don't make me muzzle you!"
"Fuck. You!" I roared, nearly breaking my wrists with the force of my struggling.
"You'll thank me later; I'll go get your snake sunshine!" He shook his head and opening the door Logan and Jordan were still waiting.
It took seconds until Alfie was with me and seeing that I was restrained he didn't look impressed and as the blade came out on his tail, I realized what he was doing. "No Alfie!"
"Help Elisse?"
"No, unless you can fix this vampire thing?" I asked hopefully, but he only tilted his head confused.
Zane chose the right moment to walk in and seeing my eyes change had Alfie pulling back. "Elissse?"
"I'm sorry Alfie," I sighed.
"Alfie was stuck in a net when we got here, a few meters down. We're lucky it was night and no boats were out to see him." Zane took the seat by the door and Alfie nodded.
"Tried to k-eeep Elise safe. Alfie tried."
"I know, it's not your fault." I tried to reassure him and slowly he came back to the bed, resting his head on my bent knees. His tongue flicked out to touch my nose and as night took over all we could do was wait and see what Aaron had planned next. Yet as the hours ticked by nothing happened. Well, not to do with him.
For all I cared he could be out the front riding a unicorn, I just wanted blood and being in a house full of and surrounded by Trackers, Hunters and Slayers was driving me mad. I screamed, I begged, I cried. I tried bargaining and bribing, and then I was simply threatening them. More than half the time I had no idea what I was actually doing or saying, and I didn't care.
Logan was constantly telling me to stay strong. Jordan just kept apologizing and Zane said nothing as he never moved from the door. If I got too aggressive or looked like I might actually hurt myself, Alfie was there to calm me down.
"So, that's it? It's nearly dawn, she had no blood and she's going to be okay?" Jordan whispered beside me.
I was exhausted. The ache from where Aaron stabbed me decided to return and I had never felt so weak; so drained. My throat was burning from my non-stop night of screaming and my palms were stinging from where my nails had cut into the flesh numerous times as I had tried to free myself. I wasn't exactly laying in the most attractive of positions spread out in every which way from where I just stopped fighting; I dreaded to think what my hair looked like. I probably would have done better surviving an exorcism.
"Yup, that's it. Wait until later before freeing her though, just in case. Come on, let's tell the others to go get some sleep while they can." Zane yawned.
Slipping in and out of consciousness I saw them leave. Alfie's head was on me the next time I opened my eyes and after that, I had a blanket over me. The best part was I was now unbound and rolling over, Alfie was on the floor around the bed and Logan was asleep beside me. He woke up and looking over at me, smiled.
"Hey Bunny," he whispered, yawning as he rolled onto his side so we were facing each other.
"Am I back to normal Loges?" I felt, different, but right now I was too tired to know what it meant.
"Well, you were never normal..."
"Jerk!" I groaned, taking a few long slow blinks.
"I think that confirms it? How about we do one more test, chocolate or blood?"
Closing my eyes, staying awake was hard and I answered with a contented sigh, "Chocolate!"
"Good choice."
While waiting to fall back to sleep, my mind was racing. I don't know what Aaron's plan actually was. Did he know I was going to be rescued, did he think I was weak willed and would hurt Matt before the others would find me? The fact is, none of that matters. I tried to fight who I was before and couldn't deny it. Then I tried to hide from it and yet still it found me. The only way I was going to get through this life was to live it as who I am meant to be. No more denying, hiding, or fighting it. I am a Hunter and I can't believe I've been so stupid for all these years wanting to change it. I guess fear does that to a person only it's not there anymore to stop me. I've beaten it.
Aaron better have taken my advice about running seriously. After this little stunt, once I get hold of him he's going to be begging to be sent back to the Other World.
