Chapter 3
We've been shopping for about 30 minutes now. I'm kind of a "tomboy" when it comes to clothes; skinny jeans, band t-shirts, and converse. But according to Dean I'm going to need some "professional clothes" or I as like to call them "tight and revealing."
"How's this one?" I asked, stepping out of the change room. Sam's eyes almost popped out of his head from the sight of me in a tight strapless black dress that just passed my butt and exposed a little to much of my chest.
"Will you pass me the shoes?" I asked Dean politely. He shook his head, smirking. I knew why he wasn't giving me the shoes, because I would have to bend over in front of Sam and he must have noticed the tension between us.
I sighed dramatically and stomped over to wear the shoes were, bending over, probably giving Sam a nice view of my butt. When I stood up my butt grazed Sam. I heard him groan. I quickly stood up, acting like I didn't hear anything. I raised an eyebrow at Dean who was laughing so hard I thought he might piss himself.
I decided to try on the rest of the "professional clothes" even though it was a little awkward for Sam and I. I ended up buying 5 new pairs of jeans, 7 t-shirts, 2 new sweaters, 2 pairs of converse, 1 pair of combat boots, 3 dresses, a bag of random clothes that they were going to throw away (why not?), and 3 pantsuits for interrogating. Dean did tell me to "go crazy" since he wasn't technically paying for it. Finally we headed back to the impala.
We've been driving for about an hour now. An hour of rock music and Dean complaining to Sam that he wants more pie. Something was bugging me though. I had this knot in my stomach though, like there's something I need to tell Sam and Dean but I don't know what. I scrunched my eyebrows together. What could it be? Yes! How did I not think of this before?
"Destiny Grace." I said, breaking the silence. Both Winchester boys gave me confused looks. "My name is Destiny Grace. I figured you guys should know since you let me travel with you and sleep in your motel room, plus you guys bought me clothes." I explained. Sam gave me a genuine smile while Dean gave me a kind of crooked smirk.
"We're happy to have you Destiny." Sam smiled. I smiled back, laying my head against the door of the impala, falling into a deep sleep.
*Dream*
Where am I? My eyes wandered. I was in the woods, there were tall pine trees, wild animals, beautiful flowers, a crystal clear lake, the sun shone brightly through the treetops. This would be a beautiful camping spot.
"Destiny Grace?" A voice said from behind me. I spun around to come face-to-face with a man.
He was pretty attractive. Fairly tall, pretty muscular, beautiful blue eyes, and short dark hair. He was wearing a dress shirt, dress pants, and a trench coat.
"Are you Destiny Grace?" The man asked more sternly than the last. I nodded slowly. Something about this man is ....... Other worldly, like he wasn't human.
"Who are you?" I asked, I sounded more confident than I felt. The man sighed.
"I am Castiel, an angel of the lord." He replied. An angel? Is he being serious right now? This guy is an angel? I didn't think angels were real, but than again what isn't real when your a hunter.
"Why am I here?" I asked. Castiel sat on a bench that I didn't noticed before, gesturing for me to sit beside him. Cautiously I walk over and sit down.
"This is a dream, Destiny. I'm hear to tell you that your parents didn't tell you the whole truth. Your dad was a hunter but your mom was an angel." My eyes grew wide. My mom is-was an angel? Why didn't they tell me?
Before I had a chance to reply Castiel left, leaving me alone.
"Destiny, wake up." Sam said. I groaned.
"What? Where am I?" I asked. I heard Dean laugh from the front of the Impala.
"You were having a dream and you wouldn't stop moving." Sam stated.
"Oh, sorry." I apologized. I didn't think it was the right to tell them about my mom. I was still getting used to the whole my-mom-was-an-angel thing. They both smiled, then we were back on the road. I really hope this doesn't change anything. I haven't known Sam and Dean for a long time but I've already grown attached to them. I'll probably regret it later though. Everything I've ever loved was torn away from me, though it seems like the same thing happened with the boys.
