Night Walkers.
Dijon purred as they went to bed. Crepe was quiet while Ponte and the others were still getting ready. Isaac wasn't there, but with how long he stayed up at night? It was guaranteed that he wasn't going to be there. Crepe poked his head up.
"Hey Dijon." The redhead let out a weak noise. He wasn't tired, but his act was perfect. "I was wondering if you knew more about the sector. I mean... I've barely experienced this one." He hummed.
"I do... I can tell you later. Maybe exchange sector information?" Crepe purred.
"Ok. See you in the morning."
Dijon hummed as Crepe went back down. The room fell quiet as the lights turned off. Dijon's eyes lit up as he glanced at his clock. 2 more hours.
^*^
Upon the second waiting hour, he slipped out. He didn't want to, but he wasn't going to wait another few hours before the others woke up and he joined them in an act of that he had slept. He went out to the yard and frowned. The new moon purred at him as he pulled out his sword. It glowed gently with a red color as he purred. He knew the school was safe from most creatures, but he was on edge. His ears latched onto something as he paused. Someone was awake? He let an invisibility spell grasp him and his sword vanish as he turned around and two people slipped out.
"Alright... which student is still up?" He stayed quiet as he scanned the people. They stayed out of the moon's faint light, but he recognized them. Mrs. April and Janice. In confusion, he spoke carefully.
"Why are you asking?" They looked around, trying to figure out where he was. But Janice caught on easily.
"Drop the invisibility." He stayed quiet as he let himself get revealed. Silence followed as they locked eyes.
"Dijon... why are you awake...?" Mrs. April whispered. He held his silence before sighing.
"Because I can't sleep during the new moon." Sure, give him up. Unless... "Thinking about it, why are you up?" Janice paused.
"You're... part of the Wild Hunt?" He nodded, waiting for his answer. Mrs. April held up her arm and a certain marking appeared.
He paused at the sight.
"You..." She nodded as Janice looked down.
"All the same reason."
They fell silent as Dijon gulped.
"Which... uh... part of the hunt are you two?" Janice gulped.
"There's a small section in Fiore. A bunch of orphans. We're part of that group." Dijon nodded silently as he looked up at the moon. Mrs. April hummed.
"How about some... hunt training? Get to know each other's techniques." Dijon paused before he smiled and pulled out his sword.
^*^
The others were tiredly waking up as Dijon "slept". In reality, he wasn't tired at all. He just didn't want to face the facts that everyone else wasn't the same.
"Dijon?" He heard Crepe tiredly call out to him. A hand shook him. "Wake up."
"Make me." Dijon grumped into his pillow, teasing the smaller male.
Crepe growled before he climbed onto his bed and grabbed the blanket. Dijon quickly used this chance to grab Crepe's wrist and change the tides. He pulled Crepe down and got on top, gaining a squeak from him.
"You-" Dijon smiled as Crepe paused. "You were already awake?"
"You're too easy."
"How long were you awake?"
"Lost track after the 3rd minute. You know, you're adorable when you are asleep." Crepe blushed at that.
"That's not fair. I've never seen you sleep."
"And you never will." He then smiled before getting off the flustered brunette and climbed down. Crepe got up and jumped down.
"But seriously, How long have you been up?"
"10 minutes? I told you, I don't remember. I don't keep track of time." Ponte frowned as he joined the duo.
"Did either of you hear noises in the middle of the night?" Dijon was able to keep his composure. Shit. Ponte wasn't a heavy sleeper. He woke up at almost everything.
"No... why?"
"It was weird. Almost like there are nocturnal people in the school. I heard at least three people move in the middle of the night. Someone left here. I didn't check who it was." Crepe hummed as Dijon headed out.
"I wonder who it was..."
Dijon was able to pass Janice and alerted her of Ponte. She thanked him before he went to his classroom. Mrs. April was there, alone. He went to her.
"Mrs. April... we have bad news." He explained what Ponte had said. She hummed as she eyed the door.
"I forgot he wasn't a heavy sleeper... ok. Don't let this slip. I reach out to our allies in Fiore. Reach out to the Almia group. I say... we have to find a safe time to meet up." He nodded as he sat down and the others arrived. They were able to flash smiles with ease.

The girls almost caught on with a group effort. They saw him on the phone and went to do some eavesdropping.
"Mum... I know what you're going to say. We have to find forces in Kithicor and Oblivia. I have met a small portion of the Fiore group. I'll keep in touch."
He hung up and sighed as Mrs. April approached him. Seafoam paused as she and Admiral watched the scene further unfold.
"I was able to get in contact with our forces in Fiore. I have a feeling you'll get posted there, but I would like you to get me a list of your allies. Get one to me and Janice that way we can go talk to them and bond." Dijon nodded.
"I'll get it to you before the internship." She nodded as she handed him a paper.
"Those are all of our members. Be careful." He nodded before they split up.
