Mayday!

Dijon woke up with low energy before groaning. Last night was tiring and it was days before the New Moon. His target kept moving. He managed to get up and up to the others before Wendy was in his ear.

"Woah, you feeling ok?" Thanks to the little energy, he couldn't answer. He noticed Crepe wasn't there before Seafoam cleared up his incoming question on the comms.

"Crepe, I swear- No! Hey!" Dijon felt lightheaded as he sat down. Marcus noticed and went over.

"All good?" Dijon took about a minute before he nodded. He had to be wary of that right now. Wendy huffed.

"You look sick."

"Not...... Sick... just...... unfueled..." He felt drained as Crepe's voice came from the comms.

"Is that Dijon I hear?" The redhead didn't answer as Wendy spoke.

"If you mean the exhausted looking one, then yes."

"Dijon, did you sleep?" He not only didn't answer, but he got up and headed for the door to go to his room. He was grabbed before then, darkness brought him some strength.

"H-" He was hushed before getting sat down.

"Hold still." Now that he could do. Closing his eyes, he felt warmth roll across his back.

"Wha-"

"Shh... too much energy." He hummed softly before the warmth faded and he opened his eyes to meet a pair of glowing green eyes. He blinked before the glow faded to brown eyes and the person stepped back. "Better?"

"I-" He blinked, feeling a lot stronger than before. He stood up, feeling his power surge. "What?" The person smiled.

"That should get you till tonight."

"How'd you-" He was pulled out of the room as the person closed the door. He finally scanned the person, a brown haired male with a healthy size. He smiled at him as Dijon noticed a blanket in his grip and he wore what looked like an Operator uniform. He snapped out of his daze as the boy started moving before joining him. "How'd you do that?"

"Magic, dear Hunter." His face said it all as the boy continued. "Cedar, Covenant of Aloje. Nice to meet you. Now if you'll excuse me, I have to go save another Nightdweller."

Dijon paused as he watched Cedar go over to Marcus and drape the blanket over him as the Operator seemed to glare at Wendy. Cedar's gift seemed to lighten the mood as Marcus smiled at him before Cedar checked the other two Operators. Wendy went over to Dijon as he hummed.

"All good?"

"I have no idea."

Dijon finally got caught up on what was happening after lunch. Crepe had taken a look at Admiral's distress signal. However, he had just gone quiet. Sven was going to look, but Dijon got to thinking. What could be happening down there that has two Top Rangers down?

^*^

Dijon was the one of the only ones that heard Sven's alert. Marcus; who explained his reasoning, Cedar and him were talking when Sven communicated.

"I need assis-" The line went dead as the trio paused. That wasn't good. Marcus gulped.

"So... what do we want to do?"

"I'm a Hunter for a reason."

"You'll get exposed."

"So? I can say I slept all day. Besides, I need to try again anyway with my energy." The other two nodded as Marcus gulped.

"I'll monitor you here."

^*^

He took little time to get in there. With everything as dark as it was, he was a light breeze to everything. He found Sven unconscious near a hole.

"Sven?" The older male stirred before waking up.

"Dijon? What are you..." He then groaned a little before Dijon saw a bump on his head. Ouch.

"Stay here." Sven put his head in his arms before he jumped down the hole and faded into a shadow. He then froze when he saw Crepe by the side with several rocks on top of him. He slipped over and shook his boyfriend awake. Green eyes touched his red pair as he paused.

"Dijon...?" The redhead placed a soft kiss on Crepe's head.

"Relax. I'll get you outta here in a sec." Crepe hummed softly as Dijon went over to the Chamber.

Thanks to the night, the Guardian was easy. As he went out, a loud sound hit the air. Crepe grabbed his ears since noises were louder at night. Dijon turned to see some guy in a Dimwit helicopter. He frowned as his eyes glowed.

"Took long enough! Starting to worry that no one would do it. Hand it over."

"Over my dead body." A grunt came out with Admiral tied up. Other than the pain and tiredness that had washed across her face, he caught sight of blood. What had he done to her? He let out a hiss as Admiral stirred. "Let her go."

"How about this..." Curses. He should've known. "Gem for Ranger. Eh?" He cursed under his breath before tossing the gem up. He then had the shadows carefully set her down before something appeared above him. "Oh, have that as well. A gift for your cooperation." As the helicopter left, Dijon's eyes flashed and the Magnetzone was calmed in seconds. After it left, he pulled his sword out and the rocks were powder before Dijon reached out.

"Marcus, tell Cedar I'll need heals ready when I get back."

It wasn't until morning did the others find out somewhat what happened. The trio were talking over coffee while the others were waking up.

"Qhittipus? There's not that many of you, are there?" Marcus shook his head.

"There's me and I think 2 others. Maybe. We're going to try and repopulate if we get the chance. Not going to happen, but whatever."

"At least you're going to try. You don't want to know what my family did to pull ours off." Marcus shuddered.

"Oh really?"

"Yep. Both." Marcus ran a hand through his hair as Linda and Seafoam joined them.

"Why are you guys up so early?"

"Late night discussion." Seafoam literally stopped as Linda groaned.

"Did you people sleep at all?"

"Cedar might've, but we stayed up talking." Marcus chuckled as Cedar made a sound. Wendy joined them as Seafoam started looking at the trio that were resting's signals. She then turned to them.

"You guys weren't just talking."

"I couldn't sleep." Dijon fired back. "But Marcus started it." Wendy yawned.

"So wait... you guys stayed up all night doing... what?"

"Talking about stupid stuff and saving rangers." Marcus stretched a little as Linda hummed.

"Ok... then how are the trio?"

"Should be resting... hopefully." A noise followed before the trio joined them. Sven had an ice pack against his head while Crepe was treating the wounds that Cedar couldn't do. Admiral was behind them, keeping her arms from swinging out and breaking Cedar's healing. "Speaking of which, all good?" Sven didn't answer while the other two nodded. The Chairperson joined them as they got into position.
