Victoria's POV

James was arrested the following day and true to Ryan's words, Wagner sang like a canary once he realised that James wasn't there to get him out of this situation anymore.

Jaydan and I stayed in London until the end of Wagner's trial before we headed home.  Toby and Ryan was sad to let us go, but after promising them to visit as much as possible they bid us goodbye. The first I did before we returned home was change my hair colour and I looked like myself again.

Once we boarded the airplane excitement overtook me. I was so happy to be finally going home and to see my family again. On our flight back home I told Jaydan about the different people I encountered on the flights to find him.

The son and father I met along the way was the funniest and I told Jay about their constant bickering.

By the time we landed it was already 8 o'clock at night and Jaydan and I were both surprised when we noticed our parents waiting for us. When their eyes landed on us they ran to us and we formed one big group. We were just all happy to see each other.

"A Mr Edwards called us and explained the whole situation to us. We're just glad that you're both are home and safe. We've missed you both so much," my mom explained as they led us to the awaiting cars. They drove us to the Stewart mansion where a whole feast was prepared for us. We talked and shared stories until late into the night and all of us decided to sleep over.

The following week Jaydan and I told our parents that we wanted to marry as soon as possible. In a week's time we organised our wedding while Jaydan and I furnished our house.

The week flew by fast and before I knew it, it was finally the day of my wedding. My mother and Amelia helped me to get ready in one of the mansion's many rooms. The wedding was going to take place under the pavilion in the back garden.

After I was dressed and ready to go there was a knock on the door.

"It better not be you Jaydan!" Amelia shouted from beside me.

"It isn't, I promise," I recognised Toby's voice and quickly went to open the door.

"Wow Vici, you sure look beautiful and Jaydan is one lucky guy," He said with a grin. I laughed before I pulled him in a hug.

"What are you doing here?" I asked.

"I couldn't miss my best friend's wedding, now could I?" He said with a grin.

Right at that moment my dad appeared at the door and asked me if I was ready to go. And I was beyond ready.

When the door the backyard was opened the wedding march began and I saw a grinning Jaydan waiting for me down the aisle. My father led me to Jaydan and the ceremony commenced.

We read each other our vows and I had to stop myself from crying a few times during the ceremony. Finally we got to the part that mattered the most and after say our I do's we kissed and we were husband and wife. Everyone cheered and Jaydan and I both had goofy smiles on our faces.

"Now introducing Mr and Mrs Stewart," the announcer said as Jaydan led me to the dance floor. We slowly swayed to the song I'm yours.

"Still not regretting marrying me?" Jaydan asked.

"Never," I said as we continued to sway to the soft beat. We might have been through a lot of obstacles to get here, but I wouldn't change anything. Because in the end it led me to this moment with Jaydan, and that was something I never wanted to change.

A few months later...

I stared at the photo in my hand before I looked at the big building in front of me. This reminded me of the time I came here to inform Jaydan about my acceptance into the police academy. Now I had good news again, or I hoped he also thought it was good news.

I made my way up to Jaydan's office. He was on the phone when I entered and when he noticed me he gave me a smile. We've been married for three years and our anniversary was next month.

Jaydan quickly bid the person goodbye on the other side of the phone before he turned his attention on me.

"Hello my lovely wife," he said as he stood up to greet me.

"Hello my handsome husband," I greeted with a grin.

"So what bring you here?" He asked as gave me a dashing smile.

"Well I have something for you," I said as I handed him the photo. He looked confused at first but then he recognised what it was and his whole face lit up.

"You're pregnant!" He said excitedly and I nodded.

He picked me up and spun around. His excitement was contagious and I laughed with him.

The best adventure of our life was just beginning.
