Umbra's POV

Where are they? The sun is about to come up. I think to myself waiting in a nearby tree for my backup. I did a little bit of training while waiting for them. I practiced my aim for shadow ball, I played with my pointy bracelets on my front paws, I worked on my moonlight move to improve it a bit. I also practiced with my faint attack and last resort.

I waited another hour till I heard my sister speak through my headset. "Umbra, is the target still at your position?" She asked. "Yes. He hasn't moved yet. He is strong too." I told her. "We're almost there." I hear Dim say. He's our other brother. He is able to control anyone using his special ability, Possession. His rings were slightly different than ours. "We see the house." Shade said. He can get scary sometimes.... I watched as they came into view. Shade flew to where I was and landed. He has wings. I see Dim jump from roof to roof till he made it to us. Then I see big sister, Zelda, Land in front of us. Her blue bandana around her neck flows with the wind. "Let's go get him." She said.

Zelo's POV

I woke up to Jewel whining for breakfast. 'Why did Dusk have to leave her here with me?' I thought to myself as I got out of bed. I walked out of the room and head down stairs to the kitchen with Jewel at tow. "Why is the door broken?" She asked as I got us both a bowl of pokefood since I wasn't aloud to use the stove. "A stray broke in last night." I told her as I ate my food. She tilts her head not understanding but brushes it off and eats the food.

Ring!

The video phone started to ring. It was probably Dusk. I walked to the living room and pressed the answer button on the remote. The screen flashes on to show a nervous looking Dusk and a unhappy Typhlosion behind him. "Hey buddie!" He starts. Something happened. "Uh well something happened..." Called it. He scratches the back of his neck. "It turns out that some team meteor grunts are here and I was asked to take care of them. So behave and don't destroy the house." He warned before ending the call.

I rolled my eyes and went back to the kitchen. It's still too early in the morning to be mad. "What did he say?" Jewel asked drinking some water. I told her what he said. She just said a 'oh' and went back upstairs to play with toys. I clean up the kitchen and hopped on the couch. I reach for the remote but stop midway. I can't exactly explain what the feeling was but it was terrifying. It was like I'll get wiped out of existence if I move. "Look's like your instincts are better than I thought." I stopped myself from jumping at the sudden voice that appeared behind me. "Oh? That's new. Usually pokemon are shivering in the corner by now." The voice gave a light chuckle. "I'm Shade, nice to finally meet you brother." I see black wings start to surround me. I was going to use psychic to block the wings till I heard another voice. "Zelo, play with me!" Jewel winned. I see the wings retreat. "Ze-" Jewel became silent. She probably froze in fear. I hear shade laugh. "Smart girl." I see the wings come back and this time covering me completely.

"We caught brother." I hear a familiar voice say. That was Umbra's voice! "Oh! A popplio." I hear a new voice show up. "Well aren't you cute~" The same voice said. "Let's take it with us." another voice said. This one sounded more male. "You know we can't do that Dim." Shade said. I hear one of them snort, could of been Dim, and I hear the last unnamed voice speak. "We leave the popplio and take our brother with us." I feel a hit at the back of my neck and I blacked out.

Zelda's POV

Shade carried brother on his back while he flew above us. "Was it really necessary to knock him out?" Umbra asked. We were already half way back to master. "Yes, yes it was." I replied. Dim was still mad about not bringing the little popplio along. "Master will be pleased that we captured brother." everyone agreed in their own way.

~A few hours later~

We arrive at a big mansion in the middle of the woods. It was a good place to avoid intrusions. We walked up the steps to the front door and enter. As we make our way to the laboratory, we saw a Flareon run towards us. We knew who it was and greeted her. "Hello young one." The flareon just looked at us and transformed into a girl. It wasn't really pleasant to watch or hear. After she transformed, we were lead to where master was.

The laboratory was, in a way, our birth place. Master made me, Shade, Dim, and Umbra here out of brother's DNA. But there were some issues in creating Shade and Dim. Shade ended up with gigantic wings and a blood lust nature when aggravated. Dim on the other hand, ended with the ability Possession. It allows the user to control its victim for a long period of time, usually fainting (and rarely kill) it's victim when the connection is severed. But Dim only uses it when absolutely need too.

This is also where master made his greatest achievement that is also his biggest guilt. A long time ago, before master thought of making us, his daughter became very ill with an unknown disease. This disease's effects was that the host wouldn't be able to survive in any environment aside in extreme temperatures. The secondary effect was mutation. I shouldn't go into much detail since master always gets a terrified look when we ask about it. Anyway, one day, master had a idea of fusing his daughters DNA with a pokemon's. He thought this would give his daughter the pokemon's ability to survive in a normal environment, but he was sorely mistaken. Instead of simply getting the ability to survive, She was given the ability to transform into the pokemon. This did indeed cure the disease but she won't ever live a peaceful life in society. And the fact she can transform into 8 different types made it worst. She'll be labeled as a biohazard and used to make clones and weapons that can transform by companies that will see it as profit. That's why he built this mansion in the woods to avoid his very daughter be used in experiments like he did to her. Now he hopes in using brother's DNA, which master used to fuse his daughter with in the first place, to reverse what he did.

Master looks up from his microscope with a depressed look. "I see the mission was successful." He said in a somewhat happy tone. His other two children came by with trays of test tubes and other serums. Ambrosia and Kelso. They were left here by their mother who found out what master did and left. Now they're helping him find a way to reverse their sister back to normal. "Father, is that the pokemon you told us about?" Asked Kelso. Master nodded and took brother from Shade. "What are you going to do with him father?" Ambrosia asked. Master gave a slight smile and looked at a Leafeon that entered the room.

Zelo's POV

My head hurts.... I shift my body a bit finding hard to do so. I can't move? I snap my eyes open looking around frantically. I've been kidnapped! I remembered there being these terrifying black wings surrounding me and... Jewel! Where is Jewel?! I frantically look around seeing that I was in some kind of cage. I look to my paws and see them tied up in these green blobs.

  This looks like a lab... I thought to myself. No one was in here with me so I used psychic to try and break the cage. After what felt like hours, the cage never broke. These blobs won't come off either instead their getting tighter. "You shouldn't struggle." A voice said to my left. A middle age man about 35 years old, sat in a arm chair. He wore a white button up shirt under a black vest with a tie, and black jeans. He also had these gold goggle things on his head as well as a golden gun under his left arm. "I am Joseph. It has been years since we last met." I looked at him in confusion. "So you don't remember? That's understandable, you were just a little Eevee." Why does it feel like I know him? "You are here today because I need to use you for an experiment." I don't like the sound of that. He continues to talk about what it was for but I was to busy trying to escape to listen. "And I see you all ready met your clones." I froze. He made clones of me?  I thought as I remember the stray call me brother. That umbreon was a clone... I was not going to let him use my DNA to make clones.

This took longer than expected but hey! I did it! To me it's a little dark, I even had someone read it over and they said it wasn't and that it was great as it is.
