Hong Kong, The Pearl of the Orient.

A girl was standing at the edge of the rooftop of an apartment building on the 70th floor. She has perfectly straight dark brown hair that reaches her collarbones and clear black eyes as well as pouty lips and a very slightly upturned nose. She's wearing a black fishnet tight top and a red leather jacket that highlight her body really nicely, tight black leather trousers and a pair of crimson boots.

She had just returned home from her part- time job as a waitress. She was exhausted and couldn't wait to have a nice warm bath, but she came home to her parents quarrelling and making a mess. Glass were shattered on the floor and the couch was torn apart. Their food were thrown everywhere and it was as noisy as a wet market. She, however, was used to this already and just sighed, slammed the door and left her apartment. After that, she took the escalator to the rooftop. And then she's here, with her eyes closed. She was hopeless about her family's situation.

Her younger sister was lost when the both of them were being hunted months ago. They were at a cinema, planning to watch a movie. But little did they know it was a trap. The ticket staff only allowed the 2 of them and 5 other hunters into the cinema house and, no matter how cautious they usually were, they let their guards down during the movie. The hunters were a few rows behind them and her sister got tranquillised. She saw her pass out and knew what was up. Then she escaped and never saw her sister again ever since. She was 15, now 16.

She remembered the hunters' faces and swore to slice their heads off one day.

Why would hunters hunt them, you may ask. Oh, that's because their mother was a ghoul and their father was a vampire. They were half-vampire and half- ghoul, with vampire's ability to turn into bats, walk on building edges as well as ghouls' ability to fly, shoot heat lasers and be immune to most damages but a powerful attack to the head would be lethal . Why hadn't they just fought the hunters then if they're so powerful, you say? Well, the hunters had weapons that would cause heavy damage to their kind- to the supernaturals. Humans have developed advanced technology that can wipe out supernaturals. Supernaturals like her. Werewolves, vampires, you name it. Yes, they exist. There was a secret underground agency and a black market where people such as crazy scientists hunt, sell and buy the bodies of supernaturals and study them . And mixed supernaturals like this girl is very rare even more frequently targeted.

Somewhere near the building, a man in dark blue was holding a rifle of some sort and aiming at that girl.

She opened her eyes and her irises were blood red. The sclera of her left eye was black. She stepped forwards, and fell down. Really quickly. And she turned into a bat and id nowhere to be seen. At the same time, the man pulled the trigger, but he had missed his target.

Her name is Scarlet.

Sharp fangs for hunting their prey, but the fangs are hidden when they're not hunting

Traits of ghouls :
Super strength and speed,

Every ghoul has a different power for hunting. The powers are not unique though. For example, Scarlet's mom can shoot out fatal laser beams with her hands. Other powers include having wings that allow the ghoul to fly and shoot out attacking stones.

Ghouls' scleras turn black and their iris turn red when they hunt or use their powers.

Ghouls' bodies cannot digest human food. If they eat too much human food they get sick.

Ghouls have a really quick healing power.
