Chapter Two

There was movement in the woods tonight. Werewolves, the Bear Thorn Pack. One of the pack members was an informant of mine. She was the Alpha Males daughter. She was a tall mutt, in her canine form she was a five foot tall German Shepherd with golden eyes. Her human form she had shoulder length brunette hair with golden highlights. An tan skin. Her name was Vela, Vela Wood.
"Do you feel her?"Sebastian asked in my head.
"No I feel something else." I mutter.
A deep sickening howl of pain filtered through the trees. It was Vela's brother Steal. I ran to the origin of the howl. He was on the ground, holes in his neck. Blood, his blood soaking the already copper ground beneath him. His green eyes, full of pain, and fear. He was breathing but it almost was mixed into a painful whine. His breath, incomplete and shallow. His yellow brown lab like coat being soaked in his blood.
I reach into my pocket and pull out a metal nail that I attached to my thumb. I then kneel before him. Placing one hand on his jawline, the other on his shoulder. "Steal? What do you want to do?" I ask him.
He shakes his head whining more, knowing he wouldn't make it. He looks into my eyes. He was asking to be put down. I nod and then pierce my metal nail into my forearm. Coating my blood on the iron. I barely wince but I would hesitate to end his suffering. He lifted his muzzle due North East, the way the monster went no doubt. I nodded and understood his sign. He closed his eyes and waited for the dead which I would bring him. I then pierce his skin and coat, right into his heart. The moment my blood touched his heart he died before me. I felt his soul lift from his body. I've never seen him in human form. He stood before me, a black paw print on his left chest plate. Dirty blonde hair nearly covered the neon green eyes. He wore simple blue jeans and a black leather jacket. As his spirit flew away, I look to his body which laid still before me. "Del Va Lo Chio." I mutter the words of the Right of Passage to Heaven.
I then rose from my knees, facing North East. My forearm healing itself. I knew what creature had did this, no vampire was capable of this. No domestic wolf either. One which was the most known for pain, death and torment. The very hound which lays beside the ruler of the Under Realm. HellHound. They were very easy to spot, and very easy to smell. Sulfur, rotting flesh and a hallucination gas called Devil's Horn. A sweet yet choking odor that lures humans to their sides. The disguise themselves as young and abandoned puppies then devour their victims while there in a trance, a nightmare of the cute puppy ripping them to shreds.
Paranormals have been known to attack other paranormals, but never before on their spiritual grounds. HellHounds are seven foot tall creatures with the structural depth of a American Bulldog. VanGuard told me that there was HellHounds. However if I get my least favorite thing done, perhaps I could do more hunting tonight. I hate them so much because after the tracking, finding, killing. It takes me all night to recover. I don't mind the work though.
I then hear more howling. Then deep growling still. I run knowing exactly where the hound was. It was at the pack's den. I break through the brush and branches getting cuts here and there and slid to a stop as the HellHound had a younger werewolf under its paws, its jaw holding the pups and then snapping the pups neck. "Abnormal." I state aloud. It faces me. I ready my stance. "Sina Watch Out!" Yapped Vela who jumped onto the hounds back and bit at its jugular. "Vela you fool!" I say in a yell. The Hound then catches her hip with its paw and knocked her to the ground. In one fluid motion the Hound steps on Vela's back crushing her. I push off the balls of my feet, painfully pushing off my hands and then kicking the hounds head, sending his foul smelling body into three solid grown pine trees.
As Vela stood I wasn't paying attention to the Hound at all. "Sina!" Howled Vela's Father. Nine Hundred pounds of foul dog crushed my breast plates in, Its teeth nearing my head. It had bronze eyes and copper skin, yellow jagged teeth. It's breath reeked of foul blood and rotting corpses. In my knee high converse was a iron throwing knife. I grip it's handle and stab its eye. Some of it's blood dripping onto my lips and neck. It backs off me and then I get into a frog squat, I grab the necklaces charm and then yank Holy rope from its surface. Almost like a whip like motion. I then jump, throwing the rope around the hound's thick neck. Then twist my body to tighten it enough to where it was struggling to breathe. It then began to suffocate. I didn't want it to die so quickly. I wanted it to suffer, like Steal had.
As I landed on my feet I began chanting words of a dark attack spell. My eyes stinging from the sudden pulse of magic. Silver air currents then slice cleanly at the hounds weak points. Legs, the back of its neck and hips. Deep enough to render it motionless until it begins to regenerate. Mist then surrounds me, It collapses and then I walk up to it. I then stomp my foot onto one of its cuts, on its head as well. "How to end you? A quick death, or a slow, painful, and torturing death." My words growing darker between each pause. Silver Blessed Holy blades sliding out from the biker gloves. I raise the blades over my head and then pierce his neck. A large hole through his esophagus. He struggled for breath and then quivered in pain as he died.
"Sina!"
A paw then hits me, cutting my left rib cage. An launching me into the big oak tree. "Another one huh?" I painfully laugh out, holding my side. Licking my lips. The twin charged for me.
"I hate to use my best move on filth but, now I have no choice." I look up and wait. As I felt its wet yet pleasing nose touch my forehead. I jump up and then center my power to the back of it's neck. A loud crack as I impacted. It collapsing dead.
"Karma's a Demon ain't it?" I ask, feeling dizzy. My vision hazy. Venom? That's impossible, even for an abnormal. I held the side of my head. Blood then flooding my senses.
"Sina," My name being called out, I fell back into someone's arms. The world spun of purple, blue and black. Then one lone white feather falling into a pit of ash.
