A/n: I am so sorry for this taking so long >-< I completely forgot about this! Final chapter at least. But yeah Im sorry this took so long to get out.

The ninja all stared in confusion as Lloyd dropped the mask & stared at his girlfriend confused.

"Makes sense why she hasnt been back yet" Kai whispered to Cole who only nodded. Makayla looked around in a small daze while Zane helped her stay sitting up right.

"What happened?" the blonde girl questioned as she looked at Zane.

"You dont remember?" her brother asked only to receive a small no.

"You tried to take over Ninjago!" Jay shouted.

"But we stopped you,we just got a city to clean up & citizens to check on" Cole said before their sensei arrived.

"I-i did!?!?" Makayla asked in a panic before Lloyd pulled her in for a hug. She squeaked in surprise before hugging back.

"What happened on your delivery?" Lloyd questioned when he pulled away from the hug. Makayla leaned against him as she began to think.

"It was after the delivery actually that,by the way, took way too long." she said, making everyone give a small laugh.

"Ok no more interruptions, we need to know what happened." Wu said as they all sat down to listen.

"I was heading back when I found someone who was in trouble, his name is Azazel" Makayla started off.

Flashback

Makayla rushed over to save the man from being attacked by a bear. His robe was stuck under a rock & he couldn't get it free. Makayla used her magic,much to her dismay with how tired she was, driving the bear back to its cave to go back to sleep.

"Thank you for saving me, I'm Azazel" the man said when Makayla walked over.

"It's no problem, I go around saving people all the time. Im Makayla" she replied as she got the rock off his robe.

"How can I repay you for your kindness?" Azazel asked as he stood up.

"Oh,you dont have to! I just help people because it's the right thing to do" Makayla said with a smile.

"But I must, you didn't have to help me but you did anyway. There must be something I can do for you in return?" he asked as the blonde giggled.

"Its fine sir, seeing that I saved someone is good enough for me" she hummed before starting to walk away. Azazel frowned before grabbing her wrist.

"Please, let me give you something in return I insist" he said with a frown. Makayla sighed & stopped walking.

"Alright, if you insist" she replied before being handed a silver brooch with red & purple gems on it.

"I-i can't take this, it l-looks to valuable!" Makayla said as she stared at it.

"No please take it, I do not need it" Azazel said. Makayla looked at him before putting the brooch on so she wouldn't disappoint him.

"Thank you girl" he said with a sinister smirk before laughing. Makayla looked confused before Azazel pushed the center gem on the brooch. She began screaming in pain as she tried not to collapse.

"W-why" Makayla whimpered out as she stared at Azazel.

"I needed someone to help me out & what better than one of the ninja who project Ninjago? Since you got sent out on a delivery I decided it would be you" he laughed.

"H-how'd you know about the delivery?" she asked before collapsing.

"Ive been watching you all for some time without you knowing it. I studied you all & tried to wait till one of you were alone. I was originally going to pick the green ninja but he was always with someone. I saw your sensei asked you to make a delivery so I picked you instead & followed you out here till I got the bear to attack me & put a rock on my own robe to lure you over here" he laughed out as Makayla groaned in pain before blacking out.

"Perfect" Azazel said before he picked her up & carried her to his hut. He laid her down & began pulling stuff out to disguise her with. He held a few masks to her face before picking one & started painting it. He made sure everything was ready by the time she woke up. He laid the clothes & mask on a table before moving a staff he had made next to the clothes & leaving the room.

An hour later, Makayla woke up & looked around.

"Where am I?" she asked, confused.

"Ah, you're awake now Kalista, sleep well?" Azazel walked in with some food.

"Who are you?" she asked as he gave her the food.

"Im Azazel, dont you remember your uncle?" he asked

"Sorry uncle" she replied as she ate.He smirked at the successful attempt at controlling her.

"It's alright dear child. Eat up then get dressed alright. I'll be in the other room" he said before walking out. Makayla quickly ate before getting up & staring at the clothes folded neatly for her. She sighed before changing & looking in the mirror. Her hair was a little duller then usual but she didn't care. She looked around & found something to add black streaks with.

"Much better," she said before putting the mask on & the hood of the cloak. She picked up the staff & examined it before walking out.

"You ready to go?" Azazel asked, now in a different robe.

"Go where?" she asked confused before he started heading outside. She followed with the staff in hand.

"You sure are forgetful today" he chuckled, "Your parents sent you here to learn how to use that staff properly" he finished.

"Oh, ok" she said before walking deeper into the forest. He smirked & began to teach her all the tricks with the staff. After a few hours they returned.

"Tomorrow you'll start your quest for the dark stone, it will help enhance your powers. But you cant touch it directly, it'll hurt you. You'll have to touch it with the end of your staff, it will connect on its own." he said & she nodded.

"What can the dark stone do?" she asked, confused.

" It can make people say dark truths they have been keeping a secret or can make them say something they thought in the past, but combined with your magic, you can twist it. You can even control people as long as they fear you." Azazel said.

"Wow" was all Makayla said before they went to sleep. She was awake in the middle of the night to a loud roar. She snuck out & headed towards the sound where she found a dragon chained up. She used her staff & moved a rock to break the chain off. Once she did, the dragon attacked her before noticing the brooch & nuzzled her. She giggled & petted the dragon before walking back to the hut.

"I see you made a new friend" Azazel replied when he walked out to find her.

"He was trapped so I saved him, I thought he was going to hurt me but instead gave me affection." she replied.

"He's a dark matter dragon, he was made for you once that brooch was made. I do not know why he was chained up" he replied before they went inside.

"Maybe someone found him & chained him up?" she questioned as she went towards her room. She got a maybe as a reply before going back to bed. Once morning had arrived Makayla headed outside to the dragon.

"Kalista wait, take this. We'll be able to communicate with it" Azazel said before Makayla put it in a pocket in her cloak.

"Thank you uncle" she said before getting on the dragons back.

"Go into the city, there should be a map, your dragon will be able to find it easily. & be careful, ice is the only thing that can harm your dragon. Good luck" he said before Makayla flew off towards the city.

"& thats when we saw you on the beach!" Lloyd exclaimed & Makayla nodded.

"Yeah, you pretty much know the rest of what happened."she said & leaned more on Lloyd as she grew even more upset with herself.

"Where's Azazel now?" Wu asked.

"His hut" Makayla replied.

"Then lets go pay him a visit." Kai said.

"Wait, does he even know what happened here?" Zane asked.

"You broke my communicator during our fight so he shouldnt. Thats the only way he could communicate." Makayla said as she got up.

"Good, we can trick him." Cole said as they all got up.

"One problem, the brooch is destroyed," Makayla said as she looked at its broken remains.

"We can make a fake," Kai said before rushing off to the bounty. The others followed confused.

"How can we make a fake?" Jay asked.

"We have plenty of pictures. With some metal or clay or something we can make a replica!" Kai said.

"I do have costume gems in my room," Makayla said then ran off.

"Perfect, lets get started" Kai said before they all got to work. After half an hour they were finished & set off towards the hut. It had become nightfall by the time they got there. The Ninja surrounded the place as Makayla walked into the hut.

"Kalista there you are I got worried" Azazel said as he let her in.

"Sorry uncle, I lost the communicator" she said as she sat down.

"Let me guess, when you fought the ninja?" he asked before she nodded. He sighed before making food.

"I'm sorry I lost it but I took over the city" she said as she took off her mask.

"Good, I'm guessing you dragon is keeping things in check while you came here to tell me that?" he asked before passing her a plate of food.

"Yeah,he's doing a fantastic job," she said before eating. He smiled & ate with her. Once done they went outside for a walk.

"I'll join you in the city in the morning," Azazel said.

"Sorry but you wont get to see it" Makayla said. Azazel looked at her confused before he got ambushed by the ninja.

"You traitor!" he shouted, causing her to laugh.

"They broke the original brooch you gave me, you should have noticed. A big clue should have been me not having the staff that was broken." Makayla replied as he was restrained in vengestone.

"Your going to Kryptarium prison now," Cole said before they took him there. Azazel growled & struggled before he was put in a cell he would never escape from. The Ninja headed back to the city to help clean up & check on all the citizens before headings back home. They had been out all night so they headed to their rooms for some much needed rest.

"Sooo, are these black streaks in you hair permanent?" Lloyd asked as he walked with Makayla down the hall.

"Nope, just need a shower" she replied.

"Good, I like your hair plain blonde" Lloyd said before giving her a kiss on the cheek.

"I'm glad blondie,I'll go shower now" she giggled before Lloyd grabbed her hand.

"Come to my room when your done, I am in need of some overdue cuddles" he joked.

"Ok dork" she giggled before leaving him. He pouted, not getting a kiss but walked into his room anyways. He changed & laid in bed for 15 minutes before she walked in wearing pjs she stole from him awhile ago.

"Theres my pretty girlfriend" he said as he moved over on the bed. Makayla giggled & laid with him before giving him a quick kiss.

"I love you"she said before laying her head on his chest. He smiled & hugged her waist.

"I love you, now rest you must be exhausted" he said. She giggled & pulled the blankets up.

"I am & sorry for attacking you" she said with a yawn.

"Its not your fault,you were being controlled. I'm glad we saved you"he said as he played with her slightly damp hair.

"Me too" she said before falling asleep with him, happy to never have to deal with Azazel again.
