To jab tu Naina ki baat karta tha to wo Sheena hoti thi.." he nodded "aur jab Sheena ki baat karta tha to Naina" he gave another nod.

Naveen sulked "aur jo tu..jo tu... Sheena ko leke apni....." He consoled himself "apni manohar kahaniya sunaya karta tha..apne wild dreams discuss karta tha......" He composed himself "wo meri chhoti si...Gudiya..." Naveen seems like he would burst out crying in anymore moment.

That untouched topic now made Rajveer uncomfortable and as well as nervous, shit..he shared almost every details of their.......! "Bhai meri baat sun..mujhe nahi pata tha ki wo teri behen hai" Rajveer panicked as he saw his grief stricken face "meri aisi koi intention nahi thi...agar mujhe pata hota to mein uskey bilkul bhi touch nahi karta" naveen looks at him like a betrayed child which made Rajveer's situation even more worse "I swear bhai chuna to dur mein usey dekhta bhi nahi....".

"Haramkhor, jhuti kasam na kha...dekhta nahi to usko protect kaise karta...tu to chahta hi hai mein mar jaun sale...jalta hai ki mera promotion ho gaya aur tu wahi atka hua hai...".

"Ab isme promotion kaha se agya yaar...tu baat kaha se kaha le gaya". Rajveer panicked

Naveen sat there devasted then spoke "bhai bata na...tu ne jo mujhe bataya wo sab sach tha ya mere samne badi badi fek raha tha" Naveen looks at him with pleading eyes, while Rajveer was avoiding him  "bhai please, mann ki shanti ke liye.."

He asked like a child and Rajveer couldn't break his heart, so he lied looking away "nahi...wo thoda badha chadha kar ...meine bola bas ..waise kuch nahi hai..." He lied to his best friend feeling bad.

Naveen took a deep breath of relief but his peace lived short when he saw Rajveer's face turned away. He always does this whenever he is lying. "bhai....waha nahi" naveen makes Rajveer face him "meri akhon me akhein dal ke bol".

"Kya kar raha hai, akhein hai meri gotiya nahi jo dal du" he shrugged Naveen away. "Ek..bar...bol dia na.." he was hesitating.

Naveen becomes a mess again "tu jhut bol raha tha na sale .." he held his own head "jhute makkar, aisa kaise kar sakta hai tu meri behen ke sath ....bhul gaya bro code...sale suar...puri duniya me tujhe meri hi behen mili rasleela karne ko".

"Mujhe kya pata tha wo teri behen hai ..warna me kasam se usko hath na lagata ..sari galati naina ki hai..usey to pata tha na ki mein kaun hu.. wo kaun hai"  he tried to shift the focus

"Suar har kahani mein chutiya ban ke ajata hai, ladki teri le ke chali jati hai aur end pata chalta hai, ohh ye to dost ki behen thi...." Naveen accuses him "photo di thi na tujhe Naina ki...itna bada blunder kaise kia tune". He barked at him

"Han par wo kho gayi" he meekly said at his carelessness.

He got up in rage "Sale sapne dekhte ho promotion ke , tera to demotion hona chahiye...tujhe intelligence officer kisne banaya.... Ek pitte bhar ki ladki akar tera chutia kat gayi...aur tujhe bhanak tak nahi lagi...aise karega desh ki raksha'.

"Sorry yaar galati ho gayi...agey se aisa nahi hoga" he said like a child as if it's a very small mistake.

"Sorry yaar galati ho gayi that I banged your sister..." Naveen mimicks him sarcastically. "Haramzade jee to chahta hai ki teri jaan le lu sale.. madar ."

"Oye..maa pe nahi jana.." Rajveer too got up warning him...

Naveen calms him down taking deep breath.."ok..ma pe nahi jaunga..bad thing. Tujhpe jaunga..." Naveen got up with a jerk surprising him "promotion chahiye na ..mein tera demotion karwaunga".

Rajveer got up with shock "kya bak raha hai be ...tu aisa kaise kar sakta hai ..me tera yaar hu.."

But Naveen was on other spree "Tu gaddar hai. Captain se tujhe sipahi banwaunga, tujhe line hazir karwaunga ..."

"Bhaiii .." rajveer was scared looking at his determination.

"Tera court martial kara ke tujhe intelligence se bahar fikwaunga kaminee ." Naveen left blabbering

Naina was trying to pacify Rajveer as he was not ready to listen her "Rajveer am really sorry, meine galat kiya but"

Rajveer turns to her "but what Shee" he sarcastically said "Naina. Tumhare ek jhut ki wajah se, Naveen mujhse naraz hai" Rajveer sighs "wo janta hai ki jo hua anjane mein hua magar asar to padana dosti par."

"About your demotion " Naina was feeling guilty about that.

"Wo aisa kuch nahi karega itna mein  janta hun usey", he mutters "magar sala promotion zarur rukwa dega, itna bhi janta hun".

Naina looks away in guilt. She is regretting her deeds. It pained him to see her like this. "Kya agar tumhe shuru se pata hota ki mein kaun hu, to kya tab tum....mujhse pyaar nahi karte? Just because am your bestfriend's sister, tum usey ignore kar dete jo hamare beech hai" she asked holding her breath.

He takes a deep breath and cups her face "Look Naina, jo hua usey badla nahi ja sakta and also the fact that I love you, no matter what our condition is, was or will be" her eyes glittered with hope and tears "magar mujhe waqt chahiye" he withdraws himself away.

She was fearing the worst "are you....are you breaking up?" Her body language going hyware.

He shook his head in disappointment "I don't know, pata nahi, but this is too complicated, tumhari Aisa karne ki jo bhi wajah rahi ho but" he looks in her eyes "you hurted us a lot"

"itna badi baat digest karna mushkil hai. And at this time, Naveen is my only priority and main focus. Mere uske siwa koi nahi hai, he is my only family. Am sorry" He left giving her a helpless look while she sat there down on couch, cursing herself.

She looks away in guilt, she deserves it. Just because she is the centre of everyone's affection, doesn't gives her the right to play with their emotions. Naveen, Rajveer and now Sheena also, she got her love finally after yearning for years and now because of her, she has to bear the burn of her deeds.

Sheena silently comes to Naveen's room, when he spoke without looking at her "mujhe ye umeed nahi thi, atleast tumse to nahi Sheena".

Her heart pained hearing his complaining tone. "Naveen.." she takes his name in whisper.

He turns to her, hurt was evident "Naina mere liye mera sab kuch hai Sheena, she is my soul and i cannot trust anyone with her but...." He takes a pause "I trusted you" her heart skipped a beat "mujhe laga tha ki tum usey har haal me sambhal logi, kabhi kuch galat nahi karne dogi but you disappointed me". All of sudden she started to feel guilty.

Sheena sobbed "Naveen..." She couldn't bring words to her mouths too much overwhelmed.

"Rajveer was tricked but you were not. Naina bacchi hai, impulsive hai, bacoan se khurafati rahi hai magar you..... uske comparatively tum zyada mature ho, tumse ye ummed nahi thi. I guess it was my fault..." Sighed. "mujhe tum par bharosa karna hi nahi chahiye tha" he looks away from her clearly showing his disappointment.

Her eyes brimmed with tears, her heart was breaking with his every sentence, for the first time he is showing two entirely differently emotions for her, first his love confession and now his disappointment. This is too much for her to take.

"Aur mujhe apse ye umeed nahi thi Maj. Naveen Singh Ahluwalia" All this time was Naina was listening the accusations her dear brother was throwing at bestfriend with no fault of her, now this is it, she can't take it anymore.

"Naina!" He was surprised to see her demeanor, she was looking all in mood to pick up an argument. But why?

"I shouldn't have trusted you with her, itna sab hone ke bad bhi mujhe laga shayad ab ap uski kadar karoge but I was so wrong".

Naveen frowned "Don't turn this in me Naina, it was your fault".

"Exactly, this was my fault. Fir Sheena ko kis baat ki saza de rahe ho aap... Jhut meine bola, sabke emotions ke sath meine khela...to Rajveer aur Sheena ko kis baat ki saza". She tried to fill sense.

"Sheena ko sab kuch pata tha, fir bhi usne tumhe roka nahi nahi that was her fault sahi rasta dikhana chahiye tha na usey tumhe..." He was not ready to back out.

Naina was also his sister and ready to give up. "Sheena is my friend, meri maa nahi jiski zimmedari mujhe babysit karna hai. Jab meine aj tak apki baat nahi suni apko lagta hai ki mein Sheena ki baat sunungi...usne mujhse hazar baar kaha sach batane ko par mein nahi mani".

Naveen looks away, somewhere he is acknowledging that whatever he said was in frustration and held no truth or fact but he was too stubborn to accept that.

"Muh ferne se sach nahi badlega, it was me jisne sabko chot pahonchayi... Mein bachi hu, mein impulsive hu, immature hu...magar apne badi maturity dikhai hai, ap bhi kuch kam nahi hi bhaiya" A rage was bubbling inside her which she was controlling for so long.

"Kya matlab hai tera, ab meine kya kar dia" he was confused, how tables turned towards him.

"Don't act so innocent bhaiya, dusro se maturity ki umeed karna asan hai" she looks at her friend then at naveen " aur khud apne kya kia? mujhse zyada bachpana to apne dikhaya hai". She taunted.

Sheena realised where she was going "Naina let it be" Sheena said not wanting to create rift between the siblings.

"No Sheena, he can't take you for granted. Wo mere bhaiya hai, mein unse bahot pyaar karti hu magar iska matlab ye nahi ki I don't care for you" Her eyes holding concern for her friend. "Itne saalo tujhe tadapte dekha hai meine, tere aansu, teri takleef, teri mayusi" she turns to Naveen "aur inhe kya dikha, tera irresponsible behaviour jiske liye tu responsible thi hi nahi".

Naveen was somewhere feeling guilty the way his sister was accusing him of something he clearly don't know. When his gaze met with Sheena's something broke inside him. Her eyes grief striken, looking broken.

Naina continued breaking his trance "Apne kabhi iski kadar nahi ki, kabhi apne iske pyaar ko iski care ko acknowledge nahi kia because of your own insecurity, your own reasons. Magar jab aj apko realise hua ki jis ladki ne apni zindagi apka attention pane ke liye guzari hai ab wo kisi aur ko chahne lagi hai, to achanak se apka soya pyaar jaag gaya" she sarcastically said.

Sheena looks away, somewhere feeling played, realisation downs upon her while Naveen was feeling heaviness as it's true to some extend "wo kuch bhi kar leti lekin aap ade rahe...jab apki Marzi aap uss se dur bhagoge, jab apki Marzi aap apni convenience ke hisab se pas aoge....is she some toy or what?".

Naveen shook his head controlling his emotions "Nahi gudiya, I really love her.... Mera pyaar kabhi jhuta nahi it's just..." He was having difficulty to explain.

She lowers her tone a bite "I never doubted your love for her bhaiya, but mujhe shikayat iss baat se ki apka pyaar apki convenience ke hisaab se chalta hai.... Dusre ke emotions doesn't matter. Itne saalo me apke indifference ke wajah se kya beeti hai, do you have any idea" Naveen looks at Sheena her eyes turned red and guilt engulfs him.

"Aur ek din apni insecurities ki wajah se you confessed that you love her then meri galati ki wajah se you accuse her ki, responsibility uski thi" she shook her head "galati meri thi to responsibility bhi meri hai bhaiya, am an adult sahi galat ka fark karna ata hai mujhe fir bhi meine Aisa Kia. Aur wahi galati aap bhi kar rahe ho".

She turned emotional "You know what bhaiya apko problem iss bat se nahi hai ki meine jhut bola. Apko problem iss baat se hai ki..... I am in love with your bestfriend, am your baby, you are scared for me and I understand your concern" Naveen was amazed that how easily she understood his insecurity. "You love me too much isiliye aap mujhse kuch nahi keh sakte, Aur isiliye apne apni sari frustration Rajveer aur Sheena par utar di....".

"Even I love you bhaiya Magar iska matlab ye nahi ki I don't care for them"  Naveen was fidgeting because of guilt. "Ap mujhe apne bestfriend ke sath nahi dekh sakte because you are scared that he MIGHT hurt me...aur mein apni bestfriend ko apke sath nahi dekhti because you ARE hurting her". She realised her mistake but now it's hight time that Naveen too accept his flaws.

Naina hold Sheena's hand looking at her with sorry expression while Sheena was controlling her tears, while leaving the room they saw Rajveer outside, he was standing there with zero expression, without saying anything to him they left.

Rajveer takes a deep breath and enter Naveen's room only to find him drowned in his own guilt.

"Veeru..." He whispers in hurt.

Rajveer's heart dipped in pain seeing his bestfriend devasted. Whatever Naina said was true, even he felt like shouting at him but she said enough and there is no need to torture him more with accusations, he had his share of reality check.

Rajveer kept his hand on his shoulder to assurance while Naveen hugged him unable to bear the burden. Rajveer patted his back conveying is standing beside him as his support no matter what. No matter how wrong things went, how wrong they go.... True Friends never leave.

Naina hugged her tightly, crying her heart out, not for herself but for her. "Am sorry, am really sorry...sab meri wajah se hua".

Sheena cried hugging her back "thappad marungi......dobara kuch aisa kaha to.."

Naina hiccups "maar le...galati ki hai meine. All because of me..." She choked.

"Not your fault....sari problems ki jad admi hote hai.....men are pigs...sabki wajah wahi hai". Sheena joked in between. "By the way, mujhe nahi pata tha tu mujhse itna pyaar karti hai".

Naina replied "Mujhe bhi" They chuckled while crying together like always. Together forever, that's what friends are for.
