Chatrapati Shivaji International Airport, Mumbai

Cabir and Navya along with Abeer already reached in airport . They are now waiting for Nandini and Rishab . Though they are really happy for this family vacation but somehow Cabir lost his usual charm . His smile somehow feels like forced one . His eyes are lost somewhere .

Navya is observing him since long . Though they are married for   5 long years but still there are somehow some distance between them . Maybe because of Cabir's difference sextual preference or Navya still stucks in her past with Harshad . They married for the sake of Abeer but still there are some unavoidable gaps between them . But when even after 30 long minutes Cabir is still same Navya decides to interfere .

She slowly puts her hand on Cabir's shoulder and asks " Cabir are you okey ? "

By her sudden touch Cabir comes out from and trance and asks " Oh ! Navya .. yes I am perfect fine . Don't worry. Where is Nandini ? We have only 20 minutes left for the check in ."

" I just called her. She will be here in 10. But you tell me what happens ? I know we are not in any real husband and wife relationship but still we are friends na ? You can share it with me. " Navya replies back .

After few seconds of silence Cabir whispers slowly " Tomorrow is friendship day Navya ... The day fab5 ... "

Fab5 .... Fab5 always a forbidden topic around them since last 5 years. They totally ignored the topic as if there was nothing called fab5. As if everything was a dream ... One dream which was too beautiful to be true.

But after ages when Cabir brings the topic of fab5 Navya without saying anything just hugs him tightly as she knows he needs her support now .

Cabir again says in a teary tone " Do they also remember the day like me ? Do they still feel anything for us ... For our friendship ? Did Aliya , Dhruv and Mukti still realise what they did for their damn ego ? They just hurted Manik ... Our Manik who did everything so that we never broken apart ? And look what he got in return ? A broken trust , broken friendship ... What a great gift for his loyalty . "

" Cabir don't be sad na ... Everything will be okey someday . Believes me . They will come around one day ." Navya tried to console him .

"What comes around Navya ? What ! Dhruv , Aliya or Mukti ? Do you ever know what they did ? " Cabir shouts angily .

" Cabir everything will be fine . They did some mistakes and .... " Navya wants to comfort Cabir but he doesn't let her .

" No Navya .. One can rectify mistakes but not Sins . They did some suns which can't never be forgiven . " Cabir replies back .

" Cabir you know na we never talked about it . But now I want you to tell me . I want to know. So tell me what exactly happened 5 years ago that just broke the strongest friendship bond I ever saw into pieces ? " Navya wants to know .

After some moments of silence Cabir replies back " Dhruv ... How could he just blame Manik, his buddy for every insecurity , every drawbacks he had ? Arey Manik always there for him ,no matter what ! And he , he just made him a scapegoat as he needed someone to cover his weakness .

Then comes our mighty Aliya .... I don't know why didn't she just get little brain ! Since day one I always knew her relationship with Manik was nothing but mere attraction for her and for Manik ! It was just he didn't want to see her sad so he just gave in without thinking about himself .

But when situations started to go out from her hand , she just couldn't take it and did the easist thing ... Blame Manik for everything . How could he just accused him for not being with her when the only thing Manik did always is holding us tightly ! And about Mukti ....."

Cabir suddenly stopped as he just doesn't want to say anything about Mukti . Partly because maintion of Harshad might again bring back those bad memories of Navya and also because no matter what Mukti is still someone every close to his heart .. his evil twin . So he just can't say anything bad about her .

" Mukti ... What about Mukti Cabir ? " Navya wants to know .

" Nothing Navya ... And just look at me ! What a pathetic friend I am ... I was so busy with my own life that I ignored everything ... I ignored that my one friend is lonely ... He might need me . I just ignored that maybe he need someone to assure that everything will be fine . And do you know who was that friend ? He was Manik .... Manik Malhotra , the only person who was there for me when my own mother kicked me out .. He was there to feed me when I don't even have a single penny . And look today I am here ... Spending my life happily and he ? I don't even know where is he ? What a great friend was I !!!" Cabir whispers in teary voice .

" But don't forget Cabir , we never left Manik ! He left us ... He left Nandu for his own selfish reason . " Navya replies back angrily . As no matter what Nandini is her best friend . So she is angry on Manik for leaving her .

" Navya never judge anyone without knowing everything . There are still lots which are unknown to you and Nandini . And I am not the person to tell all those . So please don't blame him . " Cabir replies back with a no nonsense tone .

Before Navay can answers back a cheerful voice calls her from behind .

" Navya .... Cabir " Nandini shouts as soon as she along with Rishab spots them .

" Nandu ...Rishu .... " Macau replies back with a smile and hugs them .

" So my big boy ..How are you ? " Navy asks Rishab with a smile . In which he replies in his sign language that he is fine .

" Accha if your Bharat milap is complete then let me remind you we need to catch a flight and me and my handsome son is getting late for you all . " Cabir says in his usual jocking tone .

" Yes Navu. For the first time Cabir is right . We need to move or else we will be late . " Nandini replies back and they all go towards the check in counter .

After 2 hours ,

They are now sitting in Air Indian flight , which will take them to John F. Kennedy International Airport in approximate 16 hours and 20 minutes ... A place here finally their , specially Nandini's life going to change ... Finally she will get the answers which she is finding since last 5 years ...

New York , The USA

It is early afternoon in USA . Manik again spend a sleepless night . Not even his sleeping pills able to helping get some sleep .

As soon as he closed his eyes the ghost from his past started to hunt him very badly . The hurt , the bertryal from the friends whom he once though as his family , started to come infront of him once again . Moreover tomorrow being the friendship day is making it really hard .

" Why ? Why only me ? What did I actually done to get every hurt ? Why was not my life is normal like others ? Why ? "He shouts helplessly .

The hurt , the accusations , those betrytal were too much to take . They are so deep that finally they able to break the mighty Manik Malhotra in pieces ... They broke them so badly that he even lost his power to fight ... Fight for his friendship and most importantly fight for the girl he loves ...

Like a coward he just left the country for the betterment of that girl . But the thing he forgot that he also left his life with her in India .. But that time he was too tired to fight back ... So he just listen every accusation of that lady and then left forever . As deep down in his heart he knew those were nothing but true ... The most painful trust of his life . Manik Malhotra is nothing but an unwanted son  Whom his mother just used like a check book and his father .... his father just too busy that he  forgot that he has a son ! So he just left ... He tried to make himself believe that Nandini deserves someone much much better than him .

But whom he is kidding ? His heart ? Which is still beating for the only girl ..... Nandini Murty

Or himself ? How still everyday wait for her .. maybe one day she will be with him . But his mind knows it .. it know his this dream will never going to become true .. No matter what Manik Malhotra never deserves anybody's love . He is cursed .. cursed to live his life without any love .

And he finally starts to believe the same . His so called friends forced him to believe that he is incapable to get anybody's love . The way they just threw him away that clearly show that he was nothing but a punching bag for them... A shield , whoes only work was to protect them by taking every attack to himself and when finally his purpose was sarved they just threw him away like a trash he truly is .

But even after 5 long years his heart is still crying for his friend , their broken friendship . For Nandini ... The only girl loves him truly even with his every flow . All he wants is to go and hugs her tightly . But he knows it is too late... Moreover he promised someone that he will never ever come back in her life . And Manik Malhotra never breaks a promise. Do no matter what he need to live his damn pathetic life alone ..

But little does he know his fate is just 15 hours away from him . She is coming to become his star ...again .....

P.S. - I know the chapter is utter crap . Though it is the longest update I ever write but still I know it is not good . So I am ready for every juthe and tomato u all want to throw towards me .. But the chapter is needed .. As the story the not is not only about Manan .. But Dhruv , Aliya , Navya , Cabir , Mukti everyone is important here ... After all it is also about fab5 too .....
