Around Same time ,

ARYAMAN'S HOUSE ,

NANDINI'S ROOM

Nandini is laying lazily on the bed.  Her eyes are closed but sleep is far away from them . Her mind is still pondering about the only person .... Manik Malhotra .

It really kills her from inside to act like nothing happens . But still she is  acting  like a brave.  As she just doesn't want to waste her tears for a selfish person like Manik .

Suddenly she hears someone is knocking the door . She wipes the dried tears from her face and says

" The door is open.  Come inside . "

Few seconds after someone touches her from behind .

" Cabir .. You here ? " Nandini wants to know by recognising the touch. 

" Why ? Can't I come and talk with my sister ? " Cabir replies back .

" No . No nothing like this . Come and sit na . " Nandini answers back .

Cabir sits in the bed and then says slowly , " Nandini I want to talk with you . I will not ask how are you.  As I can see it clearly that you are not at all fine.  "

" Cabir who ... Who told you I am not fine ? Look I am okey . I am completely fine . " Nandini replies back with a forced smile .

" Nandu both of you are worst liers.  So stop lying.  Atleast infront of me.  " Cabir answers back .

" Both of us ? " Nandini asks with confusion . ..

Then suddenly realisation comes to her.

" You met him . " She says . It is not a question rather it is a statement. 

" Whom ? " Cabir asks by faking his innocence. 

" Cabir I know and you too know about whom I am talking . I know that you already knew he is not Mr.M but Manik . As he was your best friend that time . Only you among his friends understood him without any words . Dhruv was his buddy but you were his mind reader . " Nandini replies back .

" Yeah.  I met with him . And I know you want to know about him . But you will not ask it . So I am telling you , he isn't fine . Actually he is  in pathetic condition .   " Cabir answers back .

Nandini closes her eyes tightly . Still now Manik Malhotra has the power on her.  Still now he effects her. 

Suddenly Manik's byetral comes infront of her eyes. 

She opens her eyes with determinations and replies back harshly ,

" No you are wrong . I don't want to know about him and I really don't care . Cabir he is Mr.M or Manik Malhotra what ever I really don't care . He is your friend so I can't ask you not to meet or think about him . But I don't want to know or discuss about him anymore . He is dead for me since the day he left me ! "

" Really Nandini ? Whom are you kidding ? Manik Malhotra is dead for you ? Then why are you still waring the musical tie breaslate ? What do you think ? If you ware it as a pendent instead of your hand no one will know about  it ? " Cabir this time shouts with frustration. 

" Cabir what are you talking about it ? It is ...  It is nothing like this . " Nandini answers back without looking at his eyes .

" Ok then . Remove the pendent and give it to me . I will throw it away  . Then I  will be sure that it doesn't matter to you . Manik doesn't matter to you . Give me . Comeon . " Cabir replies back and extant his hand towards Nandini. 

Nandini clutches the pendent tightly . No it is Manik's gift . It is their tie breaslate.  No matter how hurt she is , no matter how much she pretends that she hates Manik Malhotra , she still couldn't able to remove his gift from her.  She just changed it to a pendent to avoid the eyes of her friends.  But no matter what she can't let it go . This is the  only thing that has Manik's touch in it.  And she can't let it go . Ar any cost .

" No Cabir . Don't you dare to touch it . Don't touch it . It is Manik's gift.  Don't touch it . " Nandini shouts back .

After few minutes of silence Cabir breaks into laughter .

" Ok . Ok relax Nandini Murty . I was just joking . But seriously Nandini . You still care . You still care about him . You still love him .   "   Cabir replies back .

" No .. I don't love him . I don't . " Nandini whispers slowly . More like she is trying to convince herself .

" Nandini all I want to say is every coin has two sides . Even every story has two sides . You both are stubborn . You both are in pain without each other . Still you are letting it go . The thing you both shared are very pure . Everyone isn't lucky to have this . Don't let it go . " Cabir replies back with a soft smile.

" Cabir I think you forgot that it was not me who left . " Nandini answers in a chocking voice.

Her eyes are already teary . All she wants to do is go to him and then shouts at him , punch him for leaving her all those years ago  and finally hugs him tightly .

" My friend always an idiot . You too knew that he is a self-secrificing idiot ?  He always thought about others expect himself . Nandini you still didn't know everything . You still don't know about his sides of story . Go and talk with him Nandini. He will never tell you anything by his own . He is like this only . So everyone just came and use him for their own profit.  He always took everything silently without thinking about his own . " Cabir whispers painfully .

Nandini looks at him silently for few minutes. Then she whispers , " You knew it ? You knew everything from the beginning na ? You always knew about him that is why you are always with me since last 5 years . "

" Yes Nandini . I knew what happened in past . As I am also somehow responsible for it . And I promised my friend that I will be with you in your every step . He trusted me with you all those years ago.  Nandini Manik never really left you completely.  He was always there.  Maybe not physically.  But always there.  " Cabir answers back .

" Cabir then why didn't you say anything to me ? All these years I was miserable without him.  I always blamed him for everything.  And you saw Everything but still didn't say anything to me . Why Cabir ? " Nandini shouts in teary voice .

" Because I promised him Nandini . I promised my friend to not to say any single thing to you . He doesn't want you to know anything . But now this is enough.  You both suffered enough . Now it is high time . You both need to talk ." Cabir answers back .

" Cabir you are frightening me . Please tell me what exactly happened . Please ! Did I misunderstand him entirely ? " Nandini wants to know.

" No Nandu you didn't misunderstand him . You thought  the exact way he wanted you to think . And what exactly happened in past isn't my story to tell . You need to know it from Manik only . But yeah I can definitely tell you few things . Nandini you remember , after the  talent hunt ,  you decide to leave Space ?  "  Cabir replies back. 

" Yes . Everything was turning towards worst . So I thought if I maintain some distance then maybe Everything will be okey .  He always came to my house to meet me . But one day he didn't come . Then he never came . Never . He just left everything and went away . " Nandini whispers slowly .

" Nandini in that entire weak Manik's life just become more miserable . We , fab5 were always fighting . Dhruv and Aliya were adament in their points . They are always blaming Manik and you about every wrongs in their life . They were forcing Manik to leave you . Even I was become busy with Navya . Her responsibilities . My new jobs . Even I too somehow distancing myself from Manik . He took everything by his own . You were busy . So he didn't want to bother you too . But his final blow came from Mukti . " Cabir says in a slow voice .

" Mukti ? What are you saying ? She is like a sister to Manik . How come she ? " Nandini asks with confusion. 

" Yes Nandini . Mukti . Manik was hurt with Dhruv and Aliya's behaviour . But still he somehow knew that they were like that only . But he never expected that from Mukti . He never thought that Mukti will held him responsible for her breakup with Harshad ! I exactly don't know what she told . But Manik was just shocked and numb after he came from her house.  That was the.  That was the day he decided to leave everything and go away .... With you . " Cabir replies back .

Nandini who is already crying by listening about the attitude of his friends towards him , whispers in broken voice ,

" Then ? Then what happened Cabir ? If he decided that he will be with me then ? Then why did he left me ? "

" Nandini that is not my story to tell . It is only Manik's right to tell you his sides of story . This is his address . Go Nandini . Go to him . Before it is too late . " Cabir replies back and gives her the address .

Nandini takes the paper in his hand and closes the eyes closely . All her sadness , her anger , miseries now really look like meaningless to her . The only thing matter to her is Manik Malhotra..... Her Manik .... Her stupid Monster. 

With determinations she comes out from her bed and goes towards her dresser to get ready .

" Nandini , behena don't take full day to get ready . " Cabir says in his usual funny away and moves out from the room to give her much needed alone time .

Nandini after 30 minutes comes out from the house . She then starts to work towards the taxi stand for a cab .

She is angry but haapy . She is angry because Manik left him . He never thought to share his problems with her . For that he is going to get the Nandini Murty special punch for sure .

But she is also happy that finally she is going to meet him . Finally after so many years she is going to see him and talk with him .

In all these she missed to see a black car is following her since she came out from the house .

Suddenly someone calls her , " Hello mam ! Excuse me . "

She stops and looks at her back .

Before she can understands anything , someone press something on her nose and she lost her sense .

" Manik .... " She whispers slowly before she sleeps into darkness .
