A girl made her way towards her cabin followed by her secretary. Her secretary filled her with the schedule.

She sat on her chair and dismissed her secretary. She looked at the files on the table and started working on them.

Her work was disturbed due to a phone call. She looked at the caller ID and a smile crept on her face.

Yaar Kahan hai tu.. her friend whined from the other end of the line. She smiled.

Tu nahi sudhrega na Karan.. she replied.

Ha ha ab toh tu leading businesswoman hai.. Ms. Avni Mehta.. aapke paas humhare liye time kaha? Karan teased her.

Shut up! Ab bol kyu call Kiya.. Mai office mein hu yaar.. Avni replied.

I just wanted to ask you if you are coming today to meet her.. Karan asked hesitantly. Avni shook her head.

This is the 10th time you are asking me this! If you irritate me again.. I won't come at the cafe.. Avni warned him.

No no Avni don't do this please.. yaar ek toh Priya baat nahi kar rahi upar se tu ab naraz mat ho.. Karan mumbled sadly.

Come on.. everything will be fine.. I will speak to her.. now kindly let me work.. Avni said and cut the call.

She shook her head and continued her work. She always saw them fighting and then getting back again. She always had to be their middleman.

Damn! This love is so complicated!!

She reached the cafe on time and waited for them. She looked at her watch. Just then Karan came there with a sad face.

Where is Priya? Avni asked as she saw him coming alone.

She doesn't want to talk to me.. she is very angry man! Karan mumbled.

It's your fault anyways! You shouldn't have yelled at her unnecessarily.. Avni replied.

I know avi.. it was my mistake.. but now I am regretting.. but she is also not ready to listen! Girls never listen.. Karan replied while making a poker face.

Ohh please! don't start this now.. Avni replied annoyingly.

You will understand me the day you are in love! Karan replied.

I don't believe in this shit! Now atleast let me order something.. I am hungry.. Avni replied and called the waiter. Karan looked at her and sighed.

He couldn't understand why she hated the word 'love'. They gave their orders and spoke on random topics. Avni felt little relieved in the environment away from her busy schedule.

Today bill is on me.. you go I will pay the bill and come.. Avni spoke. Karan nodded and left.

Avni went to the counter and paid her bill. She turned to leave but collided with someone. She looked at the man in front of her all drenched in the juice which was in his hand.

Man see and walk! Avni said while looking at him.

Oh hello madam.. galti aapki aur aap mujhe bol Rahi hai.. Kamaal hai yaar! The man replied. Avni raised her brow at him.

Mujhe Bhagwan ne aankein piche nahi di hai.. Avni spoke sarcastically and left. The man looked on.

Kya ladki hai yaar! He thought and shook his head. He walked over to his friend.

His friend looked at him and then at the empty glass. He raised his brow at him.

Why did you bring an empty glass? And what happened to you? He said while looking at his state. He controlled his laughter.

Ab yahi bacha tha... Tu bhi hass le Neil! He whined and kept the glass on the counter.

Yaar Ali.. atleast tell me what happened? Neil said while laughing. Ali fed him with whatever happened. Neil burst laughing.

Stop laughing Neil! Ek toh juice gira diya aur phir daat ke Chali gayi.. Ali spoke. Neil controlled his laughter.

Today's breaking news.. Ali Khan Ko kisi ladki ne ussi ke cafe mein insult.. oops daat diya.. Neil spoke while laughing. Ali shot him a glare.

Acha sorry.. now I am getting late.. I have to leave.. Neil replied and went.

Arey but have something first! Ali yelled from behind.

I will have something on my way! Neil replied and went. Ali shook his head and continued his work.

Avni stirred the coffee and made some Poha. She was too tired to make a proper meal. She sat on the dinning table and checked her mails and completed her dinner. She felt too lonely in the house.

She walked upstairs and opened the last door. A rusty smell hit her nose. She closed the door behind her and walked inside and looked at the piano.

She removed the cover and sat on the seat. She was playing it after a long time. Her fingers ran on the keys. A tear slipped her eye as she remembered the old times when she would play it for Madhavi. But now she was all alone with no one by her side.

In Khanna mansion

Neil went downstairs to see his family waiting for him on the dinning table. He wished everyone and joined them. Everyone was having their dinner silently until his bebe broke the silence.

Tillu.. I mean.. I want to say something.. bebe mumbled. He looked at her and nodded indicating her to speak further.

I was thinking that you should settle now.. I mean this is the right time.. aaj hi tere liye rishta bhi aaya hai..if you say yes.. Mai unse baat kar leti hu.. bebe spoke. Neil looked at her and then at his parents.

Bebe you are right.. but for time being I don't want to think about all this.. I just want to concentrate on my work now.. please bebe.. neil requested.

I think Neil is right bebe.. Prakash spoke. Bebe nodded.

Prakash looked at his son and felt proud. Though he was a son of a famous businessman he never took advantage of it and worked hard. He had worked under him in the company and learnt all the things.

Neil quickly finished his food and went to his room. He sat on the window and looked at the moon. He always wanted to marry someone who he loved.. a person who could be his best friend. He ran his fingers through his hair and sighed.

Next morning

Avni called her assistant in her cabin. She asked her about her schedule.

Mam.. today you have only two meetings.. one with Malhotra's and one with Khanna's.. Sonal spoke looking at the schedule. Avni nodded.

Mam.. Malhotra sir's secretary called before sometime and told that he won't be able to make it today as he is leaving to London today.. Sonal spoke. Avni nodded.

Okay I will speak to him.. you can leave.. and please bring me coffee.. Avni spoke and continued with her work.

Yes mam.. Sonal replied and went to prepare her coffee. She came back with the coffee and knocked the door.

Come in.. Avni spoke while looking into her file. Sonal kept the tray on the table. Avni looked at the tray and then at her.

Sonal I just asked for coffee! Why did you bring me food? Avni asked.

Mam.. you came early in the morning today and you wouldn't have eaten anything that's why.. Sonal mumbled. She hoped Avni wouldn't be mad at her. Though Avni never yelled at her employees but still she was bit afraid of her reaction.

Avni just smiled at her and nodded. She thanked her and took the coffee from the tray. Sonal smiled in relief and left.

Avni quickly had her breakfast and left for Khanna industries.
