.

Manik manages to get rid of the lady when he reads the text message sent by Nandini that Nikhil and Abhimanyu  are outside and they'll surely be caught if he lets the aunty get away. Much against his wishes, Manik persuades the aunty to come back and dance with him. Nikhil and Abhimanyu  are unable to believe their eyes watching Manik doing salsa with the aunty. With great difficulty Nandini suppresses her laughter. Finally Abhimanyu  offers to drop Nandini home and Manik heads back to his place with his date plan having failed miserably.
Next day, Rajvardhan and Mohan fool Pt. Ram  into believing that they wanted to put the land to a noble use by admitting orphans. They also talk about gifting the land to Abhimanyu  and Mukti on their wedding but they can't do so now because Ram  hasn't signed the papers. Pt. Ram  starts believing that them and agrees to sign the papers. They decide to finalize the deal the day after during Abhimanyu  and Mukti's mehendi and sangeet party.
Meanwhile, Nandini comes to know that Manik was the person who nursed the puppy the other night in the jungle. She also realizes that the employee she thought he had fired was actually given retirement early for his surgery, the cost of which was borne entirely by Manik. Nandini is delighted knowing that Manik isn't a bad person after all and he is the same person she has been on a lookout for since so long.
Nandini tells Mukti that she wants to tell someone what she feels about him but isn't sure if she should do so. Mukti tells her that it is better to say it than to regret not having said it at all. Nandini gathers courage and calls Manik and they decide to meet at the cliff in a while.
Nandini and Manik are super-excited about it since they are both going to tell each other about their feelings. Nandini takes the initiative and tells him that she doesn't care what his answer will be but needs to tell him something. She is about to tell him that she loves him when he tells her to stop. He tells her not to say anything which will lead to an awkward situation the next day. Nandini is shocked and she tells him that he already knew that she was going to express her feelings and that she doesn't care what his answer is. Manik tells her that he has always hated women and his thinking hasn't changed so far. And if she wants to know his answer, his answer is NO! Nandini is stunned hearing this

Manik tells her that before meeting her, he was going to say the same thing to Nandini but something happened in between that changed his mind and got him back to his senses at the last moment. Manik was leaving from his place when he saw Rajvardhan totally sloshed. Rajvardhan tells Manik that his mother hasn't stopped interfering in his life and affecting him in every way possible. She tries to put Rajvardhan down and has now gone to the extent of calling him a cheat. Manik assumes that to be the Rupali issue whereas the real issue is that Mrs Malhotra has come to know that Rajvardhan is fooling Pt. Ram  and she calls him a cheat for fooling a poor, innocent man.
Manik gets very angry and goes to meet Mrs Malhotra. Mrs Malhotra tries to explain that she knows Rajvardhan and Rupali had between them but Manik doesn't give her a chance. He demands an explanation for Mrs Malhotra leaving him and his father when they both needed her the most. Mrs Malhotra tells him that she left because Rajvardhan wanted her to be home and take care of Manik whereas she wanted to pursue her dreams. Manik is hurt hearing this and as a result he tells Nandini that his belief about women has only become stronger. He has always hated them and will continue to do so. He tells her that even if she begs for his love, he will never accept her. Nandini promises to herself that she will give it another chance but this time around, it will be Manik who will beg for her love.
Next day, Manik sees Rajvardhan signing a contract with a pen which he has been using ever since. Rajvardhan tells him the pen is special because it was given to him by his mother and whatever he is today is because of her. Manik asks him if all women are the same. Rajvardhan tells him that all women are not like Mrs Malhotra and his mother is the best example for this. Manik gets thoughtful at this. 
That evening, Nandini is getting ready for the sangeet when Sur notices her feet bandaged. Nandini tells her it was a small accident and it isn't anything serious. At the party, Nandini tries to make Manik jealous by showing interest in another guy for marriage. Manik clearly doesn't like it and Nandini only awaits the moment when he will beg to her for love

Manik is clearly worried about Nandini marrying someone else or even considering someone. Abhimanyu  and Nikhil assume 'the girl' to be the fat lady and wonder if there's something they have missed out.
Meanwhile, Rajvardhan arrives at the party and Mohan notices his bandaged hand. Rajvardhan tells him it was a small accident and it is nothing to worry about. Mohan tells Rajvardhan that Mrs Thakkar refuses to come to the party as she is upset with this drama being carried on for so long. Nandini meets Rajvardhan and asks him if he's ok and if he has taken the injection doctor told him to. Rajvardhan tells her that he is alright. Manik overhears this and asks his father what is the injection for. Rajvardhan tells him that in the evening, he was leaving from office and was drunk. He dint notice a truck speeding towards him and would have been killed if Nandini hadn't reached there at the right time and saved his life. Manik gets thoughtful at this and feels sorry at his behavior towards a girl who is so selfless. He tries talking to Nandini but she tells him that they'll talk later since she is busy right now.
The sangeet party begins with everyone dancing away to glory. Navya announces a game wherein a scarf is kept in the middle and a girl (from Mukti's side) and a boy (from Abhimanyu 's side) have to come and try taking the scarf before the other person does so. Nandini and Manik come face-to-face in this game and Manik lets go of the scarf so that Nandini could win. Nandini is overjoyed and everyone around her is rejoicing when suddenly Manik goes down on his knees in front of Nandini. He extends his hand and closes his eyes. Nandini is pleasantly surprised seeing this.

Manik opens his eyes hoping to find Nandini, accepting his proposal. But to his horror, the one who holds his hand is none other than the fat lady who is under the impression that Manik has proposed to her. Nikhil and Abhimanyu  are as surprised as Manik seeing him propose to the fat lady. Manik tries his level best to speak to Nandini, but in vain.

Meanwhile, Pt. Ram  gets the papers of the land out to give them to Rajvardhan and Mohan since he is under the impression that they will put it to good use by helping the orphans as well. He is also indebted to them for getting Abhimanyu  married to Mukti in spite of knowing that Mukti is a widower. On the other hand, Aliya mixes some powder in a drink and asks the waiter to give it to Manik. She wants to see Manik lose control.
But as luck would have it, Manik takes a sip and tells the waiter to give it to Nandini. But before it could reach Nandini, the drink is taken by Pt. Ram  and as expected, he loses control of himself. He cant stop dancing and Rajvardhan and Mohan have a tough time getting the land papers  from him. However, they finally succeed in doing so.
Nandini applies Mehendi on her hands and is unable to move the hair from her face. Manik sees this and helps her by directing the fan towards her. Nandini goes up to the room with Manik following her. Aliya notices this and tells the fat lady and some other girls to follow them, so that they don't get time alone.

Before Manik can tell Nandini about his feelings, the fat lady appears again. Manik hides under the quilt but she sits on it, without knowing that Manik is hidden underneath.

Finally, Nandini gets rid of the lady and Manik apologizes to her for what he did to her. Nandini tells him that how is she supposed to trust or depend on a person who can't stick to his own words and who hates women to such an extent. Saying this, she walks off leaving Manik feel helpless

Nandini continues to ignore Manik, while Manik scouts for her attention and time all the while. He even goes to the extent of declaring 'girls' side as the winners for the competition, much to the shock of Abhimanyu  and Nikhil who always knew him as a woman-hater.

Manik finally gets hold of Nandini and proposes to her. Nandini is very happy hearing this. Manik then goes on saying that she doesn't deserve to be with a moody and harsh person like him and wishes that she gets a guy who is not like him and will keep her happy. Saying this he walks off. Nandini realizes that her drama is being carried on too far and she tells him that even though he doesn't deserve her, she has decided to be with him. She made the mistake of proposing to him first at the cliff and now she will have to bear the consequences.

Manik now wants her to say that she loves him too but Nandini seems to be in no hurry

Manik is the last one to leave Nandini's place with the promise to call her that night at 12. Just as Manik leaves, Badi Ma comes in and they have a close hit and miss situation. Badi Ma senses that Nandini has started liking Manik, as much as Nandini would like to decline it.
Manik anxiously waits for the clock to strike 12. Finally he calls Nandini and she leaves no stone unturned in teasing Manik. While Nandini secretly talks to Manik, Navya hears muffled noises and she lifts the quilt over Nandini's face and spots her talking on the phone. Nandini makes up an excuse and tells Navya that she was talking to her friend Shruti. Navya refuses to believe her and they land up in an argument as a result of which, Nandini's phone breaks.
Next morning, Nandini mends her phone and smartly changes Manik's name as Shruti is her phonebook and manages to convince Navya that she was talking to Shruti the previous night.
That day in office, Manik gets into the common lift with Nandini and refuses to let her out until she tells him that she loves him as well. Manik's effort doesn't go waste this time around as Nandini finally tells him that she loves him
