Mukti finds her pictures all over Abhimanyu 's room. Mrs thakjR doesn't leave any stone unturned in putting her down. She comments on her clothes and on the fact that she has reaches Abhimanyu 's bedroom way before their marriage.

The host then calls Mukti and Abhimanyu  to the dance floor. Mukti is initially hesitant but Abhimanyu  tries to make her comfortable. Mrs Thakkar tells Rajvardhan and Mohan that they have to end this drama soon. Rajvardhan and Mohan promise her that it will over as soon as the papers are signed by Ram .

Manik attempts some romantic lines to prove that he and Nandini are having an affair. Nandini tells him that he shouldn't try and steal lines to impress any girl. He asks her what she would say if she ever fell in love. What Nandini tells him then sweeps him off his feet ' she tells him that if she ever met anyone whom she truly loves, she would say 'ek dil ke liye duniya chod di' bas itni Mohabbat hai'.  He doesn't believe anyone can fall in love to this extent, but Nandini tells him that she will prove it to 'the one' for her.
Reality strikes when Abhimanyu  gets close of Mukti and she doesn't like it. She can't get Harshad out of her mind or heart. Abhimanyu  who is unaware of the reason she is upset tells her that he will always be with her.

The host then announces everyone to come on the dance floor. Manik and Nandini falter a bit in the start but then go on flawlessly with it. However, the biggest surprise for Nandini comes when Manik tells her that theoretically speaking if a girl is willing to give up entire world for him, then he can do something far bigger than this ' he says 'ek pal ke liye Zindagi de doon' bas itni Mohabbat hai'. Nandini is left speechless. He reminds her that it was only hypothetically said and she shouldn't test it.

Malhotra's is concerned looking at Manik and Nandini but Aliya tells her not to worry. If there is anything between the two of them, then she will break it and she assures  that in exactly a month, she will be getting engaged to Manik

Aliya tries to strike up a conversation with Manik at the party but he doesn't show interest. Aliya then asks him if there is anything between him and Nandini. He tells her that he isn't interested in girls and Nandini is no different. Aliya tells him that she likes guys who don't show any interest in her.

Manik's co-workers notice the two of them in the corridor and are convinced that there is nothing between him and Nandini, but instead there is definitely something between Aliya and Manik.  They go and apologize to Nandini. Nandini is relieved that her reputation is saved.
Some women from Mrs Malhotra's NGO protest outside Malhotra  n Thakkar mansion.

Rajvardhan gets angry and tells them that Rupali has been lying. He tells the women to speak to his lawyers about whatever they want to. Mrs Malhotra is shocked knowing that he is potraing himself as innocent.

Nandini then picks up the flowers she had earlier thrown in the bin. Mukti asks her about them and she explains that it was a dream which came true for a day and she's not sure if it will happen again. But it was a beautiful feeling and she wants to keep the memory intact for all her life.

Manik also comes looking for the same bouquet and is informed that a girl has taken them away. He wonders to himself that the one who has taken the flowers doesn't know that there were true feelings hidden behind the whole lot of lies he has said in the last few days.

That night, Manik is upset finding his dad drunk and realizes that the protest was initiated by his mother. He rings her up and demands to see her at his office.

Mrs Malhotra is extremely happy but Manik is in no mood of a reunion. He warns her to be out of his and his dad's life or else he might go to the extent of fighting a legal battle with her.
Siddharth apologizes to Nandini for his behavior and tells her that they all know that the affair is actually between Manik and Aliya.

Nandini is shocked and hurt hearing this and asks Manik about the same. She goes to the extent of asking when they are getting married. Manik gets very angry hearing this and clears his stand saying that he doesn't even like her. He then comments on Nandini's behavior as being that of a girlfriend. Nandini is shocked hearing this and is at a complete loss of words

Rajvardhan gets a call from the local police station to tell him that the complaint filed by Rupali Sen against him has been proved wrong due to Mrs Malhotra, who came to help at the last moment. Rajvardhan is angry since he thinks Mrs Malhotra wants to put him down at every possible occasion.

Meanwhile, Thakkars is losing her patience with both Mukti and Nandini getting extremely close to Abhimanyu  and Manik respectively.

Nandini is embarrassed to the core due to what Manik said and Manik senses this. He goes up to her and tells her that he dint feel bad at all about her questions and she may ask whatever she wants to. He clarifies that he doesn't like Aliya and she's not his type anyway. Nandini teasingly asks him who his type is anyway. He tells her that he doesn't really like girls but there is one girl who is his type. Nandini is amused watching him blush and asks him who the girl is.

Just then, Aliya enters the cabin and is not too happy seeing Manik and Nandini having a fun time. Manik leaves and Aliya tells Nandini that she is in a problem since her model for the photo shoot ditched her at the last moment. She asks Nandini to replace the model and save the company and its reputation. Nandini says she can't but gives in after she insists and tells her to do it for the company's sake.

Nandini is extremely uncomfortable in the clothes given to her and doing the poses. Some colleagues from office pass nasty remarks at her when Manik comes there and overhears them. He gets extremely angry with Nandini and tells her that this is the problem with middle class girls. Glamour gets into their head and they forget their job.

  Next morning, both Manik and Nandini are upset over last evenings' incident. They both apologize to each other but start fighting the very next moment. They realize their relationship isn't complete without the daily dose of fights and they can't stop laughing over it

Manik invites Nandini for a dinner date. He wants to tell her who the girl is whom he really likes. Nandini accepts his invitation and they decide the place and time.

Abhimanyu  brings Mukti home to select a design for her 'mangalsutra'. He innocently goes on to explain the importance of a mangalsutra for every married woman. Mukti wonders why he is explaining her about it when he knows she was a married once. Abhimanyu  goes on about how romantic the entire custom of mangalsutra etc. is. Mukti gets very angry with him for taking everything so lightly.

Abhimanyu  fails to understand the reason behind Mukti's reaction.
Manik comes home and requests Abhimanyu  to select a suit for him. By mistake he reveals to Abhimanyu  that he is going for a date but covers up later saying he has a meeting. Manik then asks Abhimanyu  for the fragrance he was wearing for the re-union (since Nandini had liked it). Abhimanyu  is now cent percent sure of the fact that Manik is going for a date. He calls Nandini and tells her about it. He tells Nandini to keep an eye on him and let Abhimanyu  know if she comes to know who the girl is.

Nandini also spends a good amount of time getting ready which leaves Mukti thinking that she is definitely going to meet someone special.
Manik reaches the restaurant and waits for Nandini. Meanwhile, Abhimanyu  and Nikhil plant themselves outside the restaurant to find out who Manik's date is. Just as luck would have it, the fat lady who was eyeing Manik at Mukti's engagement reaches there and spots Manik. Manik tries his level best to shoo her off but is unable to do so. Abhimanyu  and Nikhil cannot believe their eyes that Manik would date her! Just then, Nandini also reaches the restaurant. Abhimanyu  and Nikhil spot her and tell her about Manik's date. Nandini is amused at the situation Manik is in and sends him a text message
