Nandini goes to her office pantry to grab a coffee when a guy comes up to her to ask for a favor. He wants her to talk to Manik to get his younger brother a job in the company. Nandini is surprised hearing this and tells him she can't help. Just then, another person comes up to her to ask her to speak to Manik to sanction his loan. Nandini is confused at the way everyone's behaving and she clearly refuses saying she can't do anything to help them.

Nandini goes to the common canteen with Saloni and some girls there start commenting on Nandini's new and expensive dress. Nandini tells them that she stitched it herself but the girls continue to speak about how Manik can now afford to get her designer outfits. Nandini gets very angry. The girl continues to pass nasty remarks about Nandini and her promotion straight from office to Manik's bedroom. Nandini can't take it anymore and she slaps the girl hard on her face. Thus begins a cat-fight between Nandini and the girl. The two of them are unstoppable. Finally Manik senses the chaos and finds the two of them fighting. He screams at them to stop it. The girl and Siddharth tell him that they all know about his affair with Nandini. Manik is shocked hearing this.

Later, Nandini tells Saloni how hurt she is after hearing what everyone in office thinks about her. She has anyway given her resignation. But even after she leaves, people in office will continue thinking that she left because her affair with Manik was out in the open. She tells Saloni that she only works to solve her family's financial problems. Her real passion is singing!
Mrs Thakkar asks Aliya that there are so many biggies willing to marry her, then why did she choose Manik. Aliya tells her that she likes challenges and Manik is the biggest challenge for her.
Manik summons everyone to the conference room and declares that he and Nandini are indeed having an affair! Everyone's stunned hearing this, especially since Nandini has been denying it right from the start. But the one who is taken aback the most at this declaration is Nandini' she can't help but blankly stare at Manik for saying this. Everyone leaves from the conference room. Manik winks at her and leaves

Nandini is upset with Manik declaring about their affair to the entire office, when they actually aren't in one. Manik tells her to wait and watch. He has a plan and if all goes according to it, within 2 days everyone in office will stop talking about their affair. Nandini is unsure about it since her reputation is at stake but Manik tells her to trust him and soon the entire city will vouch for the fact that the two of them were never in an affair.
Manik drops Nandini home that day and also picks her up the next morning. He gives her special attention in office, leaving everyone thinking that there is something wrong. Manik Malhotra , the guy who hates women, cannot go around showing off his affair so openly. Manik then summons Nandini to his cabin and constantly praises her and tells her that she is the one he has been waiting for. Nandini gets uncomfortable hearing all this and they both start fighting. Nandini understands his plan when she sees the entire office witnessing their love-hate relationship. As Manik predicted, the entire office now starts talking about the improbability of them being in an affair.
On the other hand, Aliya gets Mukti home to surprise Abhimanyu . Mukti then cooks breakfast for everyone leaving Rajvardhan nostalgic since Mukti's paranthas taste the same as his wife's. He asks Mukti who taught her cooking and she says her Badi Ma did. Abhimanyu  asks Rajvardhan to book honeymoon tickets for the two of them.
Mohan in angry with Rajvardhan for planning their honeymoon, when he knows that their marriage is about to break very soon. Rajvardhan calls up the travel agent and cancels the tickets. The travel agent tells him about the tickets Manik booked for Rupali Sen for New York. Rajvardhan is shocked and he asks Manik about it. Manik tells him that Rupali has been blackmailing them and she has pictures to prove that she and Rajvardhan were in a relationship. Rajvardhan is shocked and embarrassed hearing thisbut he soon covers up putting blame on her and ends up putting hate words about women in his mind

Manik tells Rajvardhan not to worry as he can understand the need for Rajvardhan to have a partner as his taughts about girl are changing but Rajvardhan tells Manik that he never was in a relationship with Rupali. She often tried coming close to him but he never let her. He tells Manik that the day he fired Rupali, that evening they were at the same party. Rajvardhan was very drunk and Rupali constantly tried coming close to him. After the party, Rajvardhan collapsed on his way back to his car and the next he remembers is waking up at Rupali's place. Manik now understands where the pictures came from. (though what he said was complete lie) 

Manik and Rajvardhan go to Rupali's place and trick her into revealing the truth. Manik tells her that she will have to pay a heavy price for trying to trap them.
Next day, Manik continues his plan by calling Nandini to his cabin and sharing a coffee. He also tells Siddharth to write a love letter on his behalf for Nandini. But Siddharth spots Manik tearing up the letter and understands that not everything is the way it appears to be.
Abhimanyu  invites the entire office for the party at his place the next day, which has been thrown  for Aliya. Manik declares in front of the entire office that the party is also to celebrate his and Nandini's affair. The employees then ask Manik if he and Nandini will dance in the party. The theme is Salsa. Manik agrees but realizes that he doesn't know even the basics of Salsa. Nandini faces the same problem but they both portray to each other that they are pro's at salsa.
Rajvardhan tells Manik not to lose hope as he knows some steps of Salsa. Someone(neynika )  taught him years back and he can teach the same to Manik. Manik is happy hearing this and looks forward to showing off his salsa skills to Nandini

Nandini tells Mrs Malhotra about her problem i.e. she doesn't know Salsa at all and she has challenged Manik for it. Mrs Malhotra tells her not to worry and trains her in salsa. On the other hand, Rajvardhan does his level best to teach whatever little he knows about Salsa (which was taught to him by neuonika) to Manik.
Note : Neyonika and Mrs Malhotra are two diff characters,  neyonika is rajs interest Mrs Malhotra is his wife,  who he abunded but show cases like she left him for money..

Just then, Mrs Malhotra has an unexpected visitor in the form of Rupali Sen. Rupali tells Mrs Malhotra about Rajvardhan using her and also shows her the pictures as proof. Rupali begs for justice. Mrs Malhotra is extremely hurt after hearing about Rajvardhan being involved in this but promises to Rupali that she will make sure she gets justice.
Next day, Mrs Malhotra calls Rajvardhan and tells him that she wants to meet him.  Rajvardhan tells Mohan about this and tells him that if Mrs Malhotra thinks that he will take her back after so many years, she is wrong. He'll never take her back in his life.

Mrs Malhotra asks Rajvardhan about Rupali and whether he was in a relationship with her. Rajvardhan gets very angry with her and tells her that he indeed was in an affair with Rupali. Mrs Malhotra is heart-broken hearing this and now has to live-up to her promise given to Rupali.
That evening, Nandini and Mukti arrive at the party. To fuel the success of his plan, Manik gives Nandini a bouquet of flowers in front of his office colleagues and tells her to throw them in the dust-bin. Nandini doesn't want to throw the pretty bunch of flowers but Manik tells her to do as he says if she wants to save her reputation. Nandini now awaits the salsa competition to prove to Manik that she is better than him

As told by Manik, Nandini puts the flowers in a bin, while her colleagues wonder if the two of them really are a couple or are they just faking it, since real couples don't openly declare their affair neither do they throw flowers in the bin.
