Manik gives Nandini a three-day off so that he can break off from thinking about her all the time. But it doesn't happen that way. He keeps addressing random people as Nandini and finally gets fed up and leaves for home.

On the other hand, Abhimanyu  wants to take Mukti to a school re-union so that he can spend time with her alone and know her better.

Ram  grants him permission but insists that they take Nandini along.

Abhimanyu  requests Manik to accompany him to the re-union so that he can get time alone with Mukti. Manik agrees after a lot of resistance.

Mrs Thakkar is worried about Abhimanyu  and Mukti socializing together and wants the engagement to be broken off soon.

She voices her concern when Rajvardhan tells her that he considers Abhimanyu  as his son and will make sure everything goes according to the plan. However, her excitement knows no bounds when Rajvardhan tells her that he wants Manik to get married to her and Mohan's daughter Aliya.

She can see her dream of getting Aliya married off to the most eligible bachelor of the country fulfilled.
Meanwhile, Abhimanyu , Manik, Nandini and Mukti go to the party.

Manik tries to maintain his distance from Nandini but can't stop himself when she praises the fragrance Abhimanyu  is wearing. He goes to the car and wears the same one himself, which is quite unlike him

Abhimanyu  finds Manik's behavior very weird and fails to understand the reason behind it. At the party, Nandini asks Manik why he doesn't have friends from his school days.

Manik tells her that he likes his space and likes being alone. Nandini points out that too much of space are nothing but loneliness.

Just then, Manik's school friend spots Manik and Nandini and considers them to be a couple. He also announces the same in front of everyone leaving Manik and Nandini totally embarrassed.

Amidst Manik and Nandini's argument, a guy called Vikrant comes to ask Nandini for a dance.

To make Manik jealous and to teach him a lesson, she goes to dance with him, inspite if Manik's warnings that he isn't a nice guy.

Meanwhile, Mrs Malhotra i.e. Nandini's Badi Ma I. E. Manik's mom comes to Sukh Nivas to give the girls a surprise and compensate for not attending Mukti's engagement.

She is shocked when she comes to know that Nandini's rude and ruthless boss, whom she had heard a lot about, is none other than Manik.

Back at the party, Vikrant makes an excuse and takes Nandini out and starts misbehaving with her. Manik arrives at the right time and saves her
