Ram  has mixed feelings about Nandini's job. On one hand he is happy that she has got a job in a big company but is unhappy because Nandini had to sacrifice her dream of becoming a singer.

Nandini assures him that she will pursue her dream come what may. Infact she might just get a chance in the company she works. Just then, Rajvardhan and Mr Thakkar arrive at Sukh Nivas to show false sympathy for Ram 's health. Ram  and his daughters fall in his trap and he has now completely won Ram 's confidence. Rajvardhan and Mohan are confident that nothing can now stop them from getting the land near their college.
Amayra tells Rishab to mend relations with his father so that, like Nandini, he can also get a job with the Malhotra s and the Thakkars.

Rishab tells Nandini to speak to Ram  about making the most of this opportunity and to get him also a job with them. Nandini agrees to do so but in a shocking revelation to Rishab, instead of talking about his job, she tells her father that like sons, even daughters can take care of family. She wishes to hold up his ideals and always keep her self-respect intact in her new job.
However, it is not going to be a cakewalk for Nandini as her boss has sworn to make her survival difficult. Nandini isn't allowed to enter the office. Manik then instructs the security guard to let her in but to check her bags thoroughly when she comes in and when she leaves so that she doesn't steal anything leaving Nandini totally embarrassed.
Manik taunts Nandini saying she is a woman and hence will not be able to handle responsibility. Nandini gives back to him by returning Rs. 11000/- which his brothers had given Navya along with interest.

Manik and Nandini challenge each other for Nandini's survival in the office for more than 1 day.

That night, Rajvardhan Malhotra  realizes that his son is angry with his decision of hiring Nandini. He tells Manik about the larger interest i.e. to build the music school after acquiring the land with Ram 's signatures and to name the school after Manik himself

.

Manik gives Nandini her first task for the day which is to check the painting being done in the corridor and if it has the right mix and % of colors. Nandini is shocked initially but agrees to do it. In the process, she gets pushed by some employees and as a result a bucket full of water falls on her, leaving her completely drenched. Manik quickly seizes the opportunity and instructs her to be a part of an important meeting in 5 minutes, giving her no time to dry herself. To add to her miseries, he keeps the AC on minimum temperature, leaving her freezing with cold.
Abhimanyu  once again visits Mukti pretending to be the plumber but this time around, Mukti comes to know of his real identity. She browses through the company brochure and finds his name and picture as the managing director. She gets extremely angry with him, slaps him hard across his face and refuses to speak to him further.
Meanwhile, Nandini has a tough time in office with no washroom for women around. She is about to break down when she hears the same tune which she heard on the lakeside. She follows the tune and spots Siddharth standing there and wonders if he is the one who was at the lake the other day. She tries to confirm the same but isn't able to do so.
Nandini resolves not to let Manik continue his atrocities on her. She argues with Manik and finally gets him to allow her to use the washroom on the ground floor.

He orders her to come to his room for some work just as she is about to start her lunch. In his room, Manik is in conversation with an employee of the company who is ill. Manik tells him to take a leave while he will take care of all his expenses. The employee wonders why Manik is so hard on the outside when he actually has a golden heart.

Nandini, in the meanwhile, has heard only part of the conversation and misunderstands it as Manik firing the employee for his illness. She wonders how cruel a person can be.

Manik then gives Nandini another daunting task. He gives her very fast dictation and expects her to note down every word along with the pauses, which is practically impossible. Nandini smartly records everything on her cell phone and assures him that the deadline will be met!
