Ram  is extremely upset with Navya for going to the party in spite of him telling her not to go. She refuses to understand why all good people remain poor and the rich become richer.

Nandini makes her understand that it is not about money always, it is about the respect that their father has earned all their life which was put to stake. She tells her that they should live their life in a manner that they are loved and respected by everyone around and honesty is the key for that.

Navya agrees with Nandini and apologizes to her father the next morning. She promises to never do anything which will put her dad to shame and risk his name in the society.
Siddharth, Manik's driver's son comes to Sukh Nivas and requests Nandini to take back the case since his father has taken the blame on himself.
Navya and Nandini go to the police station and discover that the case has been shifted on them by Manik. Navya has been accused of stealing Rs 10,000 from Malhotra  house. Navya tells Nandini that the money was given to her by Nikhil and the other guys and she forgot to return it. The inspector tells Nandini the only way of saving Navya's arrest is to request Manik to take the case back.

Nandini chases Manik and they finally come face to face. Nandini tells him to take back the false case but he refuses to budge. Nandini then gives a tight slap to Manik. Manik is stunned

Manik gets furious with Nandini for slapping him and promises her that he will make sure she and her sister are put behind bars for the rest of their lives. The inspector is about to arrest Navya when Rajvardhan comes to her rescue and take the case back.

Navya continues feeling guilty about everything she has done and for landing her family into so much trouble. Nandini calms her down and tells her that it isn't her fault. It is because of people like Manik Malhotra , who misuse their power and put poor people into trouble.

Nandini is sure that Manik will surely pay for his sins one day and will suffer the way he has made them suffer. She also wonders how contrasting he and his father are. Manik keeps getting them into trouble and his father bails them out of it.

Ram  comes to know about Navya's arrest, he gets a severe chest pain and faints. Nandini goes to fetch the doctor when the taxi breaks down. Nandini spots a car and asks for lift. The driver tells her that he can drop her till the lake since he is going there to fetch his boss. The driver is Manik Malhotra 's driver and he is going to fetch him at the lake. Manik tells the driver to help the girl while he'll figure a way to reach home.

Meanwhile, Mr Thakkar asks Rajvardhan why did he let Nandini get away after slapping Manik? Rajvardhan tells him that all this is only till Ram  signs the papers and once he has done that, he is going to make life miserable for both father and daughter.

Nandini fetches the doctor and Manik's driver takes them to Nandini's place. Nandini spots the same scarf in the car and realizes it belongs to the same man who helped the puppy that night. She wonders how nice that person is. Little does she know that it is the same person whom she slapped that morning!

Manik comes to know that Rajvardhan has freed the girls. He gets very upset but Rajvardhan tells him to trust his decision. Rajvardhan is building up his goodwill for his own selfish reason i.e. to get signature of Ram  for the plot near the music school.

Rishab comes to Sukh Nivas pretending that he has come to collect his sweater. But his real motive is to ask about his dad's health and to recommend a good doctor for his dad's treatment.

Nandini decides to take up a job for support the family and for her dad's treatment and goes for interviews. Mukti is at home when Abhimanyu  comes, once again pretending to be the plumber. Mukti gets disappointed with every call that she gets from Nandini about her not getting the job. Abhimanyu  realizes this and gives Mukti his own card and tells her to visit the place. She'll surely get a job there. Mukti sends Nandini instead of her.

Due to this confusion, Nandini lands up giving an interview to Manik for job. They both get extremely angry looking at each other. Manik insults her and tells her to get out. She tells him she came for an interview referred by plumber Abhimanyu . Manik tells her Abhimanyu  is the owner's son and not an ordinary plumber.
Nandini storms out of the room, bumps into Rajvardhan and her CV falls off. Rajvardhan goes through her CV and is impressed. He offers her a job. Manik resists but Rajvardhan tells him not to question his decisions. Nandini initially refuses but agrees later when Rajvardhan tells her that she has to choose between his son's anger and her family's need for money.

Manik promises her that her survival will be one hell of a task but Nandini is ready to take up the challenge and promises to Manik that she will survive. Manik challanges her that she can't survive because of her attitude and because she is a woman. Nandini tells her these are exactly the two reasons why she will survive in this place! What he considers as her weaknesses, actually are her strengths
