BELA

I rushed inside the sehgal industries.. I am already 1/2 n hour late and the reason is none other than my mom..

She looked completely pale yesterday when I informed her regarding my job but today everything was just different.. she fed me "dahi shakkar" as she believes that any good thing should be started by the feeding of sweets first.

Whatever it is, all that I know is that I am late today and that just because of her.. Sir is definitely gonna scold you very hard Bela.. be prepared..

I gasped my breath and opened the door of his cabin to find him working on his table in a laptop.

"Good morning sir" I wished him, already scared with the fact that he can lash on me.

"Morning Bela" he replied, nothing is 'good' in his morning i guess, after all his newest PA is late on her very first day!

'Screw you bela' my subconscious taunted me.

'I agree' i sighed mentally.

"you are late on your very first day" he continued and looked at me for an answer.

I took a deep breath and was about to start my morning story when he said."Whatever it is make sure you are on time from tomorrow, now if you don't mind get me cup of cold coffee and add just a spoon of sugar in it."

"Problem q hogi mujhe? Mai aapki PA hu, aur Pa ka kaam hi toh hai Apne boss to assist karna but please mujhe reason batane dijiye.." I completed..
It wasn't my fault after all, and bela don't really accept mistakes that she didn't even commit.

"Dekho Bela.." he was saying something but I didn't let him complete as I start to narrate my morning story..
"To mai batau..? Thik hai suniye Woh kya hua na...mai Ghar se jab Nikal rahi thi to maa ne mujhe rok liya dahi shakkar khilane Kay liye usske baad mein traffic mein phans gayi.. aap toh jaante hai na Mumbai Ka traffic.. aur phir mujhe aane mai late ho Gaya.. but I promise agli Baar nai Hoga.." I pinch my throat to assure him..

MAHIR

She may look like a grown up, mature lady but her behaviour is no less than a 7-8 years child.

'How you're going to manage her mahir?' my subconscious asked me; is it only me dealing with my subconscious every single time?

'I don't know! Let's see.' I answered it back as i've got no other option!

"if you're done with your explanation, so will you mind getting me a cup of coffee?" I asked her.

"Just 5 minutes sir" she said and left my cabin to bring me a cup of coffee.

After 5 minutes she entered with a cup of cold coffee in her hands, and handed over to me. I must say she is really punctual about her duties.

I took a sip of it. And resume my work until she took my attention towards her "Sir can you please tell me where is my cabin?"

"Ruhi (employee) didn't told you?"

"I didn't asked her"

"Tell her she will tell you the way to your cabin"

"Thank you sir"

And she left my cabin.

Mahir closed his laptop and looked at the time. It was already 10:00 pm and he was still working in the office .

He noticed that everyone has left .. but the lights of Bela's cabin is still on.

"Kitni careless hai. Lights b off nai Kiya" mahir said to himself and went towards Bela 's cabin to switch off the lights when he saw Bela sleeping in the working table.

"Yeh ab tak gyi q nai?"
Mahir thought and went towards her. He saw the files and remembered ....

Flashback.

Mahir called Bela to his cabin

B : may I come in sir?

M : yess.

B : Aapne bulaya?

M : ha .. suno kal hamari malhotra company ke Saath meeting hai. Toh yeh files le jaao aur isske saare records mujhe email karo .. do it fast Bela we don't have much time...

B : sure sir.

She took the files and went to her cabin and began working.

Flashback ends

"Oh toh issliye yeh ab tak Yaha hai. Isske ghar mein sab pareshaan hote honge. Already late hogya hai. Isse drop kardunga". mahir thought and gently tapped Bela to wake her up..

Bela woke up with a jerk.

"Mai so gyi thi?" She asked herself and then she saw mahir. "Sir Maine apna kaam karliya ab mai jaau?" By looking at her watch.

"Look Bela I appreciate ke tumne apna work complete karliya hai.. but still bohot late ho chuka hai.. it's better I'll drop you... Come.." mahir said.

"Thank you sir!" Bela said back.

Mahir and Bela went towards they office door. And then.....
