Mahesh Malhotra: He is the CEO of Malhotra Corp & owner of Malhotra Hospital. A jolly, playful man who loved his family more than anything. He is the father of Shaurya & Manik. Treats his daughter in law & Nandini as daughters. Wants Nandini to be his second daughter. Mahesh tends to favour the girls more than his sons as he always wanted daughters. He was close friends with Rajat Khurrana until the incident. Now hasnt spoken to Rajat in over 19 years. 

Sumitra Malhotra: The loving, sweet wife of Mahesh. She is a housewife but also runs some orphanages and works with many non-profit organizations. Very maternal and treats her daughter-in law & Nandini as her daughters. Mom of Shaurya & Manik. She was good friends with Kavita Khurrana until The Incident. Hasnt spoken to her in over 19 years. 

Rajat Khurrana: CEO of Khurrana Industries. Husband of Kavita & father of Abhimanyu & Nandini. Hasnt spoken to or seen Nandini in over 19 years because of an incident (Will reveal later in story). Did what he did to protect her. Misses his daughter alot but could never get courage to visit her even though he knew where she was. Lives in London but going to Mumbai soon for work.

Kavita Khurrana: Wife of Rajat. She is a housewife but also does alot of volunteer work. Mom of  Abhimanyu & Nandini. Misses her daughter whom she hasnt seen for many years. Did what she did to protect her. 

Shanti Khurrana: Mother of Rajat. A petty, illiterate woman. She loves Abhimanyu as he is a son and disliked Nandini since she was born since she was a girl. Always tried to instigate Rajat & Kavita against Nandini but it never worked...until The Incident. Happy thinking her son and bahu hate Nandini now but thats not true.
