Third POV:
His long white haired flowed down, as he tilted his head to look up at the stars above. Twirling the the red wine within it's glass, he sighed.
"Shiratoki-sama, Madoka-sama has perished in a battle." Gotarou reported, bowing.
"Tell me Go, were you able to find his three stooges?"
"No sire; it's like they vanished off the face of the earth. But I have came across some rattling news. There is a story told of Madoka-sama having a granddaughter named Atsu Tsuji-sama. She could possibly know; no there is a 97.89% of Madoka-sama passing his knowledge down to her, considering the way he was." Gotarou said, recalling what he had heard.
"Go, this granddaughter of his, is she a pureblood vampire?" Shiratoki questioned.
"From what I was told, yes sire." He answered, closing his eyes.
As if he had heard something hysterical, Shiratoki Sugawa commenced to laugh. It grew louder and louder, vibrating off the walls of his manor.
With the clouds obstructing the moonlight, inside his household grew darker and darker.
Then within the darkness one could have seen Shiratoki's glowing red eyes, "you have finally done it Madoka." He threw the files down that he had been skimming, revealing the pictures of Rin Kiba and Kaien Cross being Madoka's exterminators.
"Shiratoki-sama?"
••••
"No she should stay within the clan; she's still Kai-sama's beloved daughter!"
"Kai-sama never gave birth to a weak daughter, but a strong daughter, the future of the Kiba Clan! Can you still call her his daughter?"
"There is one thing too. We don't know how that pureblood Madoka Tsuji has affected her body. From what she said, the child she would bear will be a normal human."
"Yes, even if she married Hakuto-sama as planned, there is still a 50% possibility that the heir or heiress they have will be a regular child."
"We do not require a regular child within the Kiba Clan, especially not as the future head. We are an esteem and the strongest clan of vampire hunters. Imagine how others vampire hunters will see us with that type of child."
"Talk about a damage on our image. Right now her even losing her powers has greatly affected how people view us."
"In additional she lost it to a pureblood."
"You must remember that not even our great previous head of the clan, Sai-sama, her grandmother couldn't defeat him!"
"How dare you speak about Sai-sama that way! At least she came back with her powers. As long as she possessed her abilities she could have grown stronger to defeat him one day."
"She has lost the qualifications to become the Clan Head and she can't even be amongst the weakest within the clan with her capabilities. What is the use of her?"
Then a loud yawn caused the meeting hall within the Kiba Clan go completely silent. Wataru Kiba -Rin's older cousin- entered trying to rub the sleep out of his eyes, "you guys are annoying and loud. My sleep was interrupted."
Behind Wataru, the sound of footsteps could be heard. Growing louder, a figure could be seen. It was Hakuto Kiba. "Have you guys really forgot about all the things Rin has done for this clan! Now that she has become what you call it, incapable of hunting vampires and providing a strong heir, you no longer have no need for her, so you want to kick her out. Your own flesh and blood, despicable! And Rin why are you sitting there quietly as if you're not in the room? Say something, you bookworm!"
"Hakuto those are the facts. I can't no longer hunt vampires as I used to. I may still be able, but I will longer hunt vampires that the Association has assigned to our clan to fulfill," Rin declared, remembering Madoka's death. Madoka was the only pureblood vampire that the Kiba girl ever had regretted killing. He was someone who jacked up her emotions. "He was also titled as a great scientist that came only second to those within the great Tsukimura Clan of pureblood vampires that were renowed for their inventions. My body has greatly changed and I am 100% sure that it will be inherited by the child I give birth too. I agree. I am completely useless to the Kiba Clan. Why stay in it any longer?"
"You idiot!" He turned his to face the clan head, Kai Kiba, Rin's father. "Say something Uncle Kai. Rin's your daughter! You're only child! Snap some sense into her!"
"Hakuto even if he may be your uncle, do not address him as 'Uncle Kai' but as Kai-sama, and do not speak to him as such." Hajiro castigated his son.
"You're scolding me on how I should speak to my own uncle, while your own niece looks like she may be banished from the clan like Aunt Renaiya and cousin Hoshimi!"
Renaiya and Hoshimi Kiba had been banished from the Kiba Clan, because Renaiya had fallen in love with a normal citizen, named Ben Akayama. Then the two had Hoshimi. The previous Clan Head and elders of the Kiba had set a brilliant strategy in annihilating Ben Akayama. Which had worked, taking away Renaiya's happiness. They then had kicked them both out of the clan.
"Silence." Kai's low but powerful voice boomed throughout the grand cubicle. He glanced over to his nephews, "you two take your seats." He ordered.
Obeying the Clan Head, they reluctantly did as he had commanded.
Kai closed his eyes then reopened them, letting out a breath. "Child is what you said, is what you truly think?" He inquired his daughter.
"Why would I lie, Kai-sama? If I am no use to the clan, I should no longer be apart of the clan. I was taught such." Rin replied, no emotion in her voice whatsoever.
"Sai-sama." Kai looked over to his mother.
She nodded.
"Then we shall take a vote. If you want Rin Kiba to be banished from the Clan raise your left hand."
A high number of hands were raised and it was decided.
"As the clan said as of tonight Rin Kiba is officially banished from the Kiba Clan. She will no longer have any ties with us whatsoever. Neither will we provide her assistance in anyway possible. And it's for those of her blood if so in the near future."
"No way! How can the clan be doing something like this to R-" Hakuto was interrupted.
"Hakuto. Please no more. I am happy." Rin had tugged on his yukata sleeve to get his attention, and spoke to him so that only him and Wataru could hear.
'You liar! Those eyes of yours aren't obviously showing any type of happiness!' Hakuto grumbled within his mind.
"Then we shall move onto the next decision." Sai said, "we shall pick the next candidate to be the Clan Head."
"Hajiro, you have no problem with me adopting your son, do you?" Kai asked.
"No at all Kai-sama. I appreciate that you are willing to adopt him."
"To those who want Hakuto Kiba as the candidate to be the next heir raise your right hand."
Another decision was made by the people.
"As of tonight Hakuto Kiba is the heir to the Kiba Clan."
••••
Clasping her mother's cold hand, she gazed at her.
Hisa Kiba, Rin's mother had foreseen a vision of her child being banished from the Clan like her cousin, Renaiya before the meeting had occurred. This had caused her to have a heart attack, then after she had fallen into a coma.
Tears pricked the side of Rin's light purple eyes, her red bangs shielding them. "Please get better, mother." Her grip tightened on her mother's hand.
The door slid, "child your time is over."
"Understood." Rin stood up, grabbing the handle her immense gray suitcase and picked up a duffle bag that shared the same magnitude. "Father, there's one question I want to ask you before I go. Do you personally know Madoka Tsuji?"
"You no longer bear the Kiba name." He coldly disclosed.
A pungent sensation ran through Rin's heart. It was then her tears threatened to spill. She dashed from the room.
The footsteps of his daughter gone; Kai looked at his wife. "Was the pain you felt while seeing that vision was this great?" He asked, knowing that there would be no response from his wife. "If Rin had stayed within this clan as the way she is now, there would for sure be those who would attempt to assassinate her. She's safer out of the clan. I did the right thing, didn't I, Hisa?"
••••
To the clacking of boots on the pavement, Hakuto eyelids lifted. He peered at his cousin. "Rin," He called.
Rin stopped with her running, glancing up. "Haku." She didn't finish his name and threw herself into his chest, and the tears she was holding back spewed from her eyes. "Haku." Her voice cracked.
Hakuto embraced his crying little cousin.
"Hakuto. Please. Please change the Kiba Clan for me. Please." She pleaded, staring intently into his eyes, tears draining from hers.
This was the first time Hakuto had ever seen his baby cousin, Rin cried, and begged him. "Yes, Rin. I will surely change it. Promise."
