Third POV:

His cape swayed, as he maneuvered himself through the dead bodies of humans and wolves. Seeing his older twin brother, Matoku, Madoka trekked towards him.

The aroma that filled the air was of Matoku's blood.

Coming to him, he witnessed his older brother stroking the head of a human child that couldn't be more than five. Blood was dried on one side of her chin, Matoku's blood.

"Matoku, what are you doing with this human child? Didn't you say you were going to attack this tribe that raises wolves to quench your thirst and kill everyone after who had survived your bite?" He asked, peering down at his brother who was seated on the dirty, bloody ground.

"Oh, I did. But this child had a different reaction when I bit her." He tilted the chin of the child up and smiled, "she turned into vampire but she didn't. It's like her body was trying to reject and accept becoming a vampire so this occurred. She has the powers and fangs of a vampire, but is practically still a human. And one thing, this girl's fangs, they do not crave human blood, but the blood of a vampire. The higher the level of the vampire, the more she craves it. So I gave her a taste of my blood and afterwards she fell asleep. The thing is she does not require the blood of a vampire to survive. These same hands of hers or her powers could kill a pureblood, which us of our kind had yet to figure out. Interesting specimen, isn't she? With her, I am sure I would be to create the perfect being, Madoka."

"Intriguing, her tribe was given the name Kiba, meaning 'fang', because they dealt with wolves. But the Kiba meaning 'fang' could also deal with vampires. Human with Fangs. It was like this event was fated." Madoka Tsuji stated, "I shall aid you in achieving your goal, brother."

"Human with Fangs, that could be a good title for her as well as 'Clear Fang' with her name being Akira Kiba. And I am glad you will assist me, Madoka. Akira no matter what, you will be forever tied to the Tsuji. This will include your children, your children's children, your descendants."

Hoshimi opened the door, because she had heard her door bell ring. She stood there bombshell with large eyes. "R-Rin what happened to you! You did something reckless again on the mission, didn't you!"

A wry smile graced Rin's face, and she rested her forehead on Hoshimi's shoulder. "Sorry, I couldn't keep my promise to you, to change the clan, to make my clansmen exuberant, to get you and Aunt's banishment revoked. Sorry, Hoshimi. Forgive me."

"Rin." Hoshimi whispered, hugging her, "they banished you from the clan, didn't they? Why do still want to see them happy and not hold loathe towards them, Rin?!"

Lifting her face, and gazing into Hoshimi's eyes, Rin simply said, "because they're my family, my clan. And hating someone will only tire both your soul and body. I can't tell you not to bear hatred for them as well, because it's your emotion, but don't let it sicken you, Hoshimi."

Using one hand, Hoshimi smashed her fist into the wall, grinding her teeth. "I despise them even more now, Rin! All you ever wanted was the best for the clan and this is how they repay you! I swear Rin through all my power, I will turn you back to normal. Then they will regret ever kicking you out of the clan."

'Everything that occurred to me is just life.' Rin said, "I just want to live my life out like this, to see how it is. But if I ever change my mind, I would like for you to do so."

"Come inside. The winter's night is getting even colder. It may snow." She took the duffel bag from the redhead, "you could use our guest room."

"Sorry and thank you."

Hoshimi Akayama shook her head, "There's no need for you to say those things Rin; we're family and best-friends."

"Really, that brother of mine." Renaiya sighed, opening up another can of beer with flushed cheeks. Throwing her head back, taking four big gulps, the can was emptied. "Still the same as always, loves to hide his emotions. I remember when he cried when Hisa gave birth to Rin and he was afraid to hold her because he said, "she's so minute". In the end he didn't hold her until she was six months." She rambled to herself, sitting on the couch.

She gripped the empty can, "you hurt her to protect her. If only our mother was like that. She would have definitely been the one to assign people to kill Rin, even though that's her own granddaughter, flesh and blood. She ordered for Ben to be killed without batting an eye." Renaiya growled.

She picked up a set of files, "looking at Rin's qualifications she can become anything she wants to be. As expected of a daughter that used to be apart of the Kiba Clan."

When Renaiya had been kicked out with her daughter she had became a cop and now she was a Commissioner. Even though she didn't like to admit it, it was all thanks to the way the Kiba had trained and had educated her.

"Maybe Rin would want to become a police like me." She took a swig from the next can of beer she had opened. Then she narrowed her eyes, "wait, knowing her she would surely say yes, because I suggested it to her. Rin always allowed for her father, her mother, the clan decide things for her. I want her to find a job that she would love. Maybe using my connections I could get her to do one month's time at different jobs to see which one she likes the best. Yeah that should work." Rin's aunt nodded her head.

Eight months had past, and Rin exited from the bank. Putting a red 'x' mark to the job as an accountant, she sighed. She had found no interest in it.

When she had questioned her aunt in which job she thought was suitable for her, she had gotten yelled at.

"Oh, Kiba-san."

Rin glanced up from the list to see Kaien Cross. "Cross-san."

The two had decided to go to a near by cafe. They had took seats in the back where they couldn't have been heard.

"So I heard you quit being a vampire hunter." Rin placed eight cubes of sugar into her tea, then mixed it with the spoon.

"Yes. I have a dream!" Kaien's eyes sparkled. This was the first time ever, Rin had seen him like so. "I want to build a school where vampires and humans could co-exist."

Rin blinked several times. She had wished she had gotten to know Madoka more. For some reason she had felt a connection to him. And she knew if so had happened, they would have been friends, but that just couldn't occur because of the environment they were in. She smiled, tilting her head to the side, "I think that's a good idea."

Kaien was benumbed that he wasn't criticized like others had did to him, and that Rin smiled. "Do you really think so, Kiba-san?"

"Yes. But you have to go through many things to start your own school. First your qualification should be in check. Second you have to get permission to build the school and have money to build it. And then have someone in strong in government to agree with your school to have children attend and so much more." Rin clapped her hand in thought. "Hey Cross-san will you allow me to help you in building such a school. I wouldn't mind becoming a professor either."

"Really? Thank you, Kiba-san. I am sure you will be an amazing professor as well. Let's build this school together." He held out his hand for Rin to shake.

Rin's heart skipped a beat and she felt her cheeks become warm, "there are some things I have to tell you first. You may have not heard of it, but I was banished from the Kiba Clan. I no longer bear the name of Kiba. And I-I love you."
