He Asks You On a Date~
Grizz (Chris)
You were inside the music store you worked at, flipping through the records with a pair of headphones on. You were organizing the records, seeing how people don't know how to put things back where they found them, your headphones playing one of your favorite songs. You gathered up a pile of misplaced records and turned around to go put them away.
"Holy Jeez!" When you turned there was someone standing behind you making you jump and almost drop the records that were in your hands. You had stopped yourself from cursing when you were startled and looked at the person that had scared you. It was Chris, the guy that helped you get your music from when it had blown away.
"Hi!" Chris said grinning from ear to ear. You smiled back, taking off your headphones, letting them rest around your neck.
"Hi!" You said, readjusting the bundle of records in your hands. "Uh, what're doing here?" You started to put away the misplaced records, Chris following you.
"Oh, uh, I, uh, wanted to see you, so I came by." Chris said. He followed you to another shelf of records, watching you put them away.
"Oh, that's very sweet of you!" You smiled.
"Whatcha listenin' to?" Chris gestured to the headphones around your neck.
"Oh, just one of my favorite songs. You look like the kind of person who'd like it." You took your headphones off and started to put them on Chris' head. "Here." You stood on your tip-toes, to put the head phones on his ears. When they were on, you took your iPod out and started the song over. You let Chris stand in awe to the sound of the music playing as you continued to do your job. You came back over after a couple minutes and Chris had the giant grin on his face.
"That song is amazing!" He said, taking the headphones off. An immediate smile went on your face.
"You really liked it? Not that many people do to be honest with ya." You said, taking the headphones from Chris. Your fingers touched and you noticed Chris get a bit flustered. Chris cleared his throat and rubbed the back of his neck. He seemed nervous.
"So uh, I, have something to ask you. . ." Christ started.
"Yes?"
"Do you think, maybe, you'd wanna come over to my house and play video games or something?" You were shocked. You only had met the guy a couple days ago and he wanted to go on a date.
"Well?" He seemed a bit concerned and a little anxious with your silence.
"Yeah, I'd love to." Chris grinned.
"Whoa really?!"
"Yeah, it seems like fun." You smiled. Chris hugged you in a giant bear hug.
"AWESOME! I'll meet you back here at five okay?!" Chris said, heading for the door.
"Five o'clock?" You clarified.
"Five o'clock!" Chris yelled as he ran out the door and down the side-walk. You smiled and went back to work.
"Five o'clock it is."
Pan-Pan (Peter)
"Be sure to smile bro! Show off your pearly whites!" Chris said.
"Be confident, like Isaac."
"Okay, okay! I got this! I can do it!" Peter said.
"Yeah! We'll be out here bro!"
"Isaac is rooting for you."
Peter took a deep breath and went into the diner that you worked at. Ever since they had went in there and you served them, Peter's been thinking about you, and he couldn't stop. Peter saw you at a table, and he went over.
"Peter?" You said, standing straight to look at Peter properly.
"Hey, uh-" It was then, that Peter noticed that you were in the middle of taking an order for a family. He blushed with embarrassment. "Oh geez, I'm sorry I'll come back later."
"No wait, just, gimme a second." You said. You apologized to the family and continued taking their orders. When you were done you took Peter's hand, making him blush and you went over to the kitchen, putting down the ticket order and you then went to an empty booth and sat down.
"So, Peter, how've you been?"
"Oh, uh, good. How about you?"
"Good." You smiled.
"Look, I'm sorry for interrupting you when-"
"It's fine." You smiled. You were glad that Peter had stopped in. You couldn't get your mind off the cute little Asian guy who blushed every time you talked to him.
"I guess you're wondering why I dropped in?" Peter chuckled nervously.
"A little, yeah." You said, giggling.
"Um, I was, uh, w-wondering if you- um, wanted to go on a d-date." Peter's face was red and he was looking at the table as he spoke, too embarrassed and nervous to look you in the eye. You giggled.
"Aw, Peter, I'd love to!" Peter looked up, shocked that you actually agreed.
"Really?" He asked.
"Of course! Hey, my lunch break is in an hour, if you stop by then, we can have our date!"
"O-okay, great!" Peter smiled. You got up, kissed him on the cheek and went back to work. Peter slowly got up and went outside where his brothers were waiting, a dopey grin on his face.
"Well, what'd she say bro? Chris asked.
"She said yes. I get to meet her in an hour for lunch."
"Dude that awesome! Good job!"
"Isaac is proud of you."
"Thanks guys." Peter said. He couldn't wait for your date.
Ice (Isaac)
Well, you back at the store, a couple weeks after the last time you went, and you were kinda hoping to meet up with Isaac again. Sure, your relationship with the guy was kind of, weird, but you wanted to see him again. Especially now.
You were trying to reach the last box of ramen. It was in the very back of a shelf you could barely reach, and more you tried to grab for it, the farther back it went. You wanted desperately to just climb up the shelves and get it, but an older couple was in the aisle and looked to be staying in the aisle for a while seeing how they could barely read the labels of the boxes in front of them.
Suddenly, an arm appeared from behind you, and grabbed the box ramen.
"Hey! I was getting-" You angrily turned around to lecture the person for taking what was rightfully yours, but you saw that it was Isaac, the guy you were just hoping to see.
"Oh, Isaac." You muttered. Isaac handed you the box, which you gratefully put in your basket.
"Thanks."
"You weren't in the freezer isle." Isaac said.
"Yeah, sorry, I wanted to get these on the way." You said. Isaac nodded. You both stood there in silence just staring at each other until you couldn't handle it anymore and you started your way through the store, and just like before, Isaac followed. As you were looking at eggs, you saw out of the corner of your eye Isaac staring at two other men, who seemed to be mouthing words to him. One was black, wearing sunglasses and a sleeveless black jacket, with the hood up. The other was a small Asain, with glasses and wearing a white sweater vest with a black and white flannel.
"Um, Isaac, do you know them?" You asked, turning to Isaac. The two men hid behind the shelves, peering around the corner to watch you two though.
"No." Isaac said rather fast.
"They seem to know you."
"They don't." You quirked an eyebrow but went back to the eggs, but watched. In the corner of your eye you saw them doing it again. You tried to pay attention to what they were mouthing. You weren't the best at lip reading, but you made out the words 'ask', and 'date'. It was then that you caught one what was happening. Isaac's two friends were helping him ask you on a date. You smiled a bit. You thought of it as really sweet gesture.
"Hey, Isaac. I know you're not much of a talker." You said. Isaac just stared at you.
"You prove my point. Anyway, since I know that you're such a quiet guy, I'll ask for you."
Isaac seemed a bit confused, but didn't show it, the two guys hiding in the aisle were freaking out though.
"Isaac, you wanna go out sometime?" You asked. Isaac didn't say anything for a while.
"Yes." He finally said.
"Alright, look, I'll meet you here on Thursday, at six, okay? We'll go out for dinner, nothing fancy."
"Isaac wants to make dinner."
"Really? Wow okay, you can take me to your place then." You said. "Just means that I get to save money."
You laughed a bit, Isaac not even cracking a smile. You sighed.
"Okay, then, we have a date."
