Chapter One
"Whoa."
My brothers and I eyed the place in shock, it was so big. And pretty looking. I kinda want to move into the beauty, but then again, Elves inhabited thee place.
"Keep moving!" TheElf guard shoves me and I stumble forward, only for my brothers to get ready to have a brawl with the Elf guard for shoving me.
"Don't." I sighed at their antics, but then I was dragged away from my brothers.
My eyes widened and I made an attempty to dive back to my family's side. "Emmett!" I yelled as an Elf wraps his arms around my waist and drags me away from my horrified brothers.
"No! Give Sk-Six back!"
"He's the youngest, your weak spot, we'll be separating him from you all. And if you don't behave, he will be dead at dawn!" An Elf snarled at Emmett as he tried to get to me like my other brothers were doing. Suddenly an Elf brings the back of my sword down against Emmett's head, making him fall to his knees.
"EMMETT!" I screamed, the Elves freezing while they all turned to look at me. The Elf who was holding onto me yanked my hood down, revealing my short blonde hair and blue eyes... and the fact I was female.
No one spoke as I struggled with the Elf, getting ready to take a bite out of the Elf's pale skin if I needed too. "PUT THE MEN IN THE CAGES!" The Elf holding me screams and continues to drag me away from my brothers.
"Let me go!"
"Skylar!" Ruben punched and Elf in the face before he ran to me, only to be taken down by an arrow.
"Ruben!" My brothers became an angry herd of bulls at the sight of our fallen brother who held onto his leg that had an arrow coming out of both sides of it. Fear grips me - this is exactly what happened with Sven. And I could tell my brothers thought this too because they became even more angry - probably making a Dragon shrink back if he saw the way my brothers looked.
"You're going to pay for what you've done!" I roared, trying to get to my fallen brother. Suddenly many Elf guards surrounded me, grabbing a hold of my body and picked me up from the ground before they carried me away, flailing about while screaming and cussing their beings.
Soon I lost sight of my brothers who were trying to take on a growing group of Elves, the Elf guards carrying me took me into a building while I tried to get free from them.
"LET ME GO!" I screamed, trying to rip myself from the Elves that carried me away.
"Calm down!" An Elf guard snaps at me as I glared up at him before I spat in his direction. "Why you little-"
"Don't, let's just get her to the throne room and get her brothers dealt with."
Aw crud.
* * *
I was dumped onto the throne room floor, only to lash out at the guards ankles in weak attempts to trip them so I could crawl on top of them and probably strangle the life out of them.
"Who is this?" I froze at the voice and slowly turned my blue eyes towards the throne as the guards abandoned my sides... those Orc's.
"She was with the Humans my King, they were trespassing in Mirkwood's forests."
"Is that so." He lazily looked down at me as I sat on the floor, eyeing the pretty looking male Elf... King... "Now why would an Elven be travelling with human males, in my forest?"
"You don't own the land, you just rule it. And I'm a Human, not an Elven, so you obviously you need to get your facts straight before you try to interrogate people." I glared up at the Ice Hearted King before I climbed up onto my feet and brushed my clothes down before I squared my shoulders and stared up at the King, trying to act defiant.
He tilted his head before he moved from his relaxed pose and stared down at me coldly and silently while he leaned forward in his grand chair, his eyes piercing through me. I tried my best not to shiver, he was the intimidating guy, but I wasn't just about to let him see how he affected me. I am the strongest female from my village after all.
"I need to go to my brothers, one of your guards hurt one of them, he might die." I hinted at the end, trying to see if the stone cold King felt any guilt at all for the actions of his people.
"So, you're human?" He says, as if it amused him.
"Yes! Now let my brothers and I go!" I put my hands on my hips while I glared daggers at him from the floor.
"No."
"Let my brothers and I go!" I demanded.
"No." He muses, making me even more angry than before.
"And why not?!" I huffed, my cheeks warming up.
"Because your filthy brothers, and you, trespassed in my forest." This guy sure is thick.
"Let us go!"
"No."
I clenched my jaw and stepped forwards. "And why not?!"
"Because at this moment in time, you and your brother's are my prisoners. Take her away."
Disbelief gripped me for a second, but then my face started to become hot again as realization hit me like Orc's foul breath. And so, to my brother's and I's logic of handling things, I started to sprint forwards to the throne, ready to kick this Elf's behind.
The guards tried to grab a hold of me as I ran up the stairs to his throne chair, they were a bit shocked at my sudden anger and action to assassinate their King with no weapons. Halfway there I was tackled onto the stairs, probably leaving some nice bruises on my pale skin for me to wince at later. "Let me at him!" I screamed, trying to crawl my way up to the throne to rip the Elf King apart.
"Take her away." He dismissed me, as if I bored him.
"We're not your prisoners! We're human beings!" I screamed. My hands tried to claw at the stairs so I could drag myself up up the stairs, but the guards yanked me backwards."You're cold hearted! You deserve your son leaving you for the Undying Lands! You're a bastard! You deserve to rot in your own cages for you actions!" I screamed, kicking and flailing about as the guards gripped onto me and started to drag me across the throne room floor.
"EVERYTHING YOU LOVE WILL ALWAYS LEAVE YOU! YOU DON'T DESERVE HAPPINESS! YOU DESERVE TO BE SWALLOWED BY DARKNESS AND TORTURED FOR BEING WHO YOU ARE TODAY!" I yelled, trying to claw at the guards while trying to get my words to put a dent in his stone features, but the Elf guards just dragged me as if I weighed nothing and wasn't putting up a hell of a fight.
Soon I was tossed into a cage-like cell and the door was slammed and locked behind me. I didn't move from my position on the cage floor while I focused on my heart pounding in my chest.
Wait - where are my brothers?
Pushing myself onto my knee's I looked around as fear started to swallow my being. "Guys? Guys?! Are you here?!" I yelled, scrambling around the sides of the cage I was locked in.
But I couldn't see them... so where are they?
