Y/N POV

I was in the nurse's office at First Shibuya High School, working alongside the nurse, my friend and mentor, Florence Nightingale

Nightingale: Y/N. Can you please grab the ibuprofen bottle? I want to see how much we have left

Y/N: Of course.

I then walked over to the medicine cabinet and grabbed some ibuprofen (pain relievers) and Nightingale shook the bottle before emptying it out on her desk, showing that we didn't have a lot left.

Nightingale: Hmm... we could use some more. *looks at Y/N with a slight smirk*

Y/N: *smirks as he summons his angelic gear* How much would you say is needed?

Nightingale: Just another bottle.

I nodded my head before reaching into the bag and pulling out another bottle of ibuprofen. Afterwards, a student walked into the office, saying he wasn't feeling good so I took his temperature, which was higher than average human temperature.

Y/N: It's a little higher than usual for a human...Anything you can think of that might cause this?

Student: my stomach hasn't been feeling good either since this morning...

Y/N: Hmm~...* looks at Nightingale* Sounds like it Might be food poisoning... should we give him some ibuprofen and see if that helps?

Nightingale: Yes. We'll be sending you back to your dorm as well. Make sure to keep your dorm at room temperature, take baths or showers with lukewarm water and make sure you're drinking plenty of water.

Y/N: You can also take Tylenol and ibuprofen every six hours.

Student: Thanks.

Nightingale: You're welcome.

I then took out two pills of ibuprofen and got some cold water and handed it to the student before giving him some saltine crackers.

Y/N: Make sure to eat before or immediately after taking ibuprofen as well. You don't want to take them on an empty stomach.

Student: *smiles* Thanks.

Nightingale: *writing a nurse's note* Give this to the front office and head to your dorm. Whenever you're feeling better, come here and we'll see how you're doing.

Student: *takes the note* Thank you miss Nightingale. You as well Y/N.

Y/N: No need to thank us. It's our job to help others.

The student smiled and walked out of the office and towards the front office. I then heard the bell ring, signaling that next classes were starting.

Y/N: *dismissed his Angelic Gear* I'll see you later, Nightingale.

Nightingale: Bye Y/N. Thank you for your help.

Y/N: *smiles* You're welcome.

I then started walking towards my next class but I noticed a certain girl waiting outside at the top of the stairs.

Shinoa: Hey~ Doc.

Y/N: *Smiles and walks up to her* Hey Shinoa. How was class?

Shinoa: Meh. Normal and boring...well other than teasing Yuu.

Y/N: *chuckles* That's fair.

Shinoa: Anyways, let's get to class. Don't wanna be late.

Y/N: Agreed.

We then talked while heading to our class. When we arrived, we saw our friend, Yuu.

Y/N: Hey Yuu. How are you?

Yuu: Good. We captured a fang today, they're currently questioning her right now.

Y/N: Oh...(no they're not, they're probably torturing her or experimenting on her...I need to do something.) Tell the teacher I had something I needed to take care of, Shinoa.

Shinoa: What? Why?

Y/N: Because I have a feeling they're not questioning the POW...

Yuu: Wait wait wait. You're telling me that you're feeling sympathy for a fang?!

Y/N: No.

Yuu: Then what?!

Y/N: I feel pity for the vampire. I don't think you realize what they might be doing...

Yuu: SO WHAT?! THEY ALL DESERVE TO DIE!

Y/N: *Annoyed* NOBODY DESERVES TO DIE! Human or not, everyone deserves the gift of life. Whether you like that fact or not doesn't mean shit to me. Chances are, they're not even questioning that vampire!

Shinoa: What do you mean?

Y/N: *shakes head and walks off* I'll explain later when I see what's happening.

Yuu tried to yell at me but Shinoa stopped her and I walked towards the prison that we had to house POWs and where we would also question them. When I arrived, I saw some officers, most of which were my superiors, but what I saw inside the questioning cell horrified and angered me.

(Fun fact. The only reason I know that saying exists is because my mom has a shirt that says the exact same thing)

Y/N: *Angered* WHAT THE HELL IS THIS?!

My superiors then looked at me.

Superior 1: Y/N. This is the vampire queen, Krul Tepes.

Superior 2: We're going to make her call off this war...we're going to get her to surrender.

Y/N: And how does torture fix that?!

Superior 3: She'll want the torture to stop eventually. If we have to continue to torture and starve her into submission, fine.

Y/N: *Growls* YOU CAN RARELY ACHIEVE PEACE THROUGH VIOLENCE! THAT'S WHAT MALCOM X FAILED TO REALIZE! VIOLENCE IS HARDLY EVER THE ANSWER! *sighs* Maybe if you tried negotiating and talking to them, you'd see that you have better chances.

Superior 4: *annoyed and sarcastic* Then how would you convince her to surrender?

Y/N: *walks into the room after snatching a key* Watch.

I then stormed into the room which caught the girl's attention and she scowled at me until I grabbed her tormentor and forcefully pushed him out of the room. I then locked the door. Before walking up to her.

Krul: What do you want? For me to surrender? Forge-

Y/N: I wish to talk peacefully. I'm terribly sorry for what they've done. I'm sure you're hungry right now...

The girl looked at me, confusion, anger, and other conflicting emotions ran through her eyes, but I smiled softly at her.

Y/N: I'll make you a deal.

Krul: Wha?

Y/N: My name is Y/N. From what I've been told, I'm sure You're starving so here's the deal; if I unlock your shackles and you don't attack me and I'll let you drink my blood.

Krul looked at me with surprise and her mouth started watering slightly at the mention of the opportunity to drink blood, telling me that she has indeed been starved. My superiors however...

Superior 1: ARE YOU INSANE?! DON'T YOU IDIOT!

Y/N: FOR FUCK SAKE GIVE ME A CHANCE! DO YOU WANT MORE LIVES TO BE PUT AT RISK BECAUSE YOU THINK TORTURE WILL SOLVE EVERYTHING?!

My superiors went silent but were pissed at me, but not that I cared. I then looked at Krul.

Y/N: So what do you say? Will you  promise to not attack me?

Krul stayed silent before weakly speaking with a hint of desperation in her tone.

Krul: P-Please...Help me.

Y/N: Promise me first.

Krul: I-I promise...just please...

I immediately unlocked her shackles, starting with her feet and then her hands, and once they were gone, she quickly grabbed me and lightly slammed me into the wall, making me grunt in pain and making my superiors almost interfere but I stopped them. Krul then quickly dug her fangs into my neck, making me tense up from the sudden sensation but I didn't mind the pain since I was helping her but I started breathing heavily. I quickly slowed my breathing as she continued drinking. I slowly brought us to the ground and Krul kept drinking hungrily. After a while, she stopped and looked me into the eyes with blood on her teeth, but I smiled softly.

Y/N: Now, onto the next part. I believe you now owe me, so let's talk.
