Above the surface of the water, Sid, Diego, and the possums are nervously watching the water on a rock, hoping to see the mammoths or human. Suddenly, two trunks break through the water.

"There they are!" Crash exclaims.

Manny tries to pull a weak Ellie along, with Y/N on her back. Y/N suddenly falls off of Ellie's back, sinking below the waves.

"Y/N!" Diego yells, diving into the water.

He sees her in the dark water, her normally vibrant E/C eyes closed as she continues to sink. Diego dives deeper into the water, wrapping his paw around her chest and pulling her up. By the time he pulls her up to the surface of the water, Ellie's already been pulled onto the rock and Manny reaches into the water to bring Y/N onto the rock.

"Come on kid." Diego whispers.

Sid exclaims, "Maybe I should give her mouth to mouth!"

Y/N immediately shoots up, opening her eyes while gasping, but her gasp is interrupted by coughing as water shoots out of her mouth. She continues coughing heavily as she vomits the water into the large ocean surrounding them.

"Nice work Sid. The thought of mouth to mouth from you scared Y/N back to life." Crash snarks.

Y/N finally finishes her coughing fit, then process what Crash said.

"Sid was going to do WHAT?!" Y/N exclaims.

Ellie chuckles weakly, "I told you that we'd both make it."

Y/N chuckles, "I'm sorry for doubting. I honestly thought my lungs would give out sooner."

Sid cheers, "We're gonna live!"

Y/N looks down at her feet, feeling her shoes filling with water again. She deadpans at Sid.

"We're gonna die!" Sid cries.

Y/N whacks him in the back of the head as everyone huddles together on the small rock. Manny picks up Y/N, placing her on his back as Sid jumps onto Manny's tusks. Y/N then looks to her left, remembering something as the boat falls into the water, making all the animals that made it onto the boat shout in fear.

"Ellie, give me my bag!" Y/N orders.

Ellie complies, slightly confused, but doesn't question the young human. Y/N searches through it before pulling out a spyglass. She frowns, opening the spyglass and looking through it towards the ice, searching for a crack or hole. She then stops as she sees some fairly evenly spaced spots going up the ice. Sid yells, jumping onto Manny's head as the possums jump from Ellie's tusks onto her back. Y/N grabs Diego, pulling him onto Manny's back.

"Guys, I think we're about to be given a miracle!" Y/N announces.

Manny looks back at her in disbelief when a loud creaking and groaning is heard. Everyone looks towards the creaking to see a large crack in the ice. The crack opens, letting the water rush through the crack in the ice. The water starts lowering, making everyone sigh in relief. Diego jumps off Manny's back onto the stone. Y/N swings her backpack over her shoulder onto her back.

"Told ya. When am I ever wrong?" Y/N smirks.

Ellie replies, "When you thought you were going to die."

"Okay, but I had a good reason to believe that!" Y/N argues.

Manny and Ellie exchange happy glances, making Y/N gag silently. Diego just chuckles at the human. Y/N jumps down, shaking herself off like a dog or a cat. The group starts walking down to see everyone in the boat had survived. Some kids run past, making Sid smile.

"I don't know, I'm thinking about starting a swim school. Sid's Squids." Sid smiles before screaming and hiding behind Diego and Y/N.

The two look at him confused before seeing a tribe of tiny sloths.

"All hail Fire King!" A blue sloth announces, making all the other sloths hug the ground, doing obeisance to him.

Sid walks out from behind the human and sabre, not sure how to respond. Diego just raises his eyebrow at Sid in confusion.

"Uh... hi?" Sid asks.

All the tiny sloths jump up, mimicking him. Y/N chuckles. This is just like little siblings copying their older siblings. Sid looks at Diego and Y/N, but Diego's just confused and Y/N gives him a smirk.

"Fire King avert flood. Join us, O great and noble flaming one." The blue sloth requests, bowing again.

Y/N turns away, biting her shoulder to stop herself from laughing and quickly composes herself as Sid smirks in pride. Diego quickly sees what Sid's thinking and starts talking.

"Whoa, no, not so fast there, Okay?" Diego exclaims. "Y-You make a quality offer, but Fire King has a prior commitment. His herd needs him." Diego walks over to Sid, who's looking at him in confusion and suspicion, but Diego continues. "He is the gooey, sticky... stuff that holds us together."

Y/N inputs, "He's the reason we are here today. He made this herd."

Diego nods, "And... we'd be nothing without him."

Sid asks, "You mean it?"

He then jumps on Diego, hugging him, making Diego start to regret his words.

"Sid, Sid. That doesn't mean "want to touch"." Diego sighs, trying to push Sid away, but Sid hugs even tighter before he pulls Y/N into the hug, making her yell in surprise.

"Get him off us!" E/N yells.

Y/N chuckles to both Diego and E/N, "Let him have this one."

The two look down to see the mini sloths hugging each other. Manny and Ellie come up to the trio, Manny with a confused look and Ellie with a smile. Crash and Eddie look smug.

"Don't ask." Diego requests.

Y/N chuckles, "Basically, Sid wasn't dreaming."

"Thanks for believing me, Y/N." Sid smiles.

Suddenly, a rumble is heard, making everyone look towards the large opening in the ice. Y/N stands up straight, making Sid let go of her.

"Would you look at that?" Y/N smiles.

An entire herd of mammoths walks into the valley, making everyone gasp in awe. Y/N chuckles, nudging Manny.

"Told you. I don't break my promises." Y/N smirks.

Manny ruffles Y/N's hair slightly as the herd of a few hundred mammoths walks towards the smaller herd. Their trumpeting is heard as their heavy footsteps pat down the ground underneath them, walking with pride. Y/N sighs, sitting down to the side of the trail the mammoths are walking on.

Ellie smiles, "We're not the last ones anymore!" Ellie starts to walk off with the herd but turns when she realises Manny isn't following her. "You're not coming?"

Manny hesitates, "You... wanna go with them?"

Ellie prompts, "I am a mammoth. I should probably be with a mammoth. Don't you think?"

"Yeah, unless..." Manny hesitates, making Y/N groan.

"Manny's hopeless." She mutters to Diego.

Ellie prompts, "Unless?"

"Unless, I... I just want to say... I need to tell you..." Manny sighs, "I hope you find everything you're looking for."

Y/N facepalms as Ellie visibly deflates.

"He's worse than Marinette! And Marinette had an excuse!" E/N yells.

"You too." Ellie frowns before walking away.

Y/N sighs, putting her hand up in the Vulcan salute.

"Live long and prosper." Y/N smiles sadly as the possum boys say goodbye their own way.

As the possums walk towards their sister, Y/N walks up to Manny, who's sadly looking at his reflection, and flicks him in the head.

"Ow! What was that for?" Manny asks.

Y/N glares, "Man up and confess to her already! She wanted you to tell her to stay with you!"

Sid gently smiles, "You've come a long way since we met, and I'll take full credit for that, but you need to let go of the past so you can have a future."

"Go after her." Diego nods.

"It's okay. We'll always be here for you." Sid smiles.

Manny smiles, "I'll keep in touch."

"Yeah, yeah, yeah. You're a... you're a good friend. Point made." Diego hesitates.

Y/N points, "Go on, Manny! Get! Get! Go get her, Manny!"

Manny smiles, running after Ellie.

Sid smiles, "Our Manny's growing up."

Y/N turns to Sid and asks, "Did you find a fountain of wisdom or something and take a drink? You're not usually this eloquent."

"Hey!" Sid protests.

Y/N smirks, looking back towards the mammoths as Manny chases after Ellie, watching him attach his tail to a tree like a possum, making Y/N chuckle. The group watches the couple, not hearing much, but they see the two mammoths wrap their trunks together.

"Come on, boys. We should go." Y/N smiles.

Sid smiles, "Looks like it's just you and me now, guys." The group turns around, walking away as Sid continues, "Two bachelors and a human knocking about in the wild. Whoo-hoo."

"Don't we count as a bachelorette?" E/N asks.

Y/N shrugs.

Diego sighs, "Fine, but I'm not gonna carry either of you. I still have my pride you know."

Y/N scoffs, "I'm not going to carry anyone. My arm's still a little wonky and I did technically drown. If anyone deserves to be carried, it's me."

"Oh come on, buddies! For old times sake?" Sid asks.

"I'll carry him!" Manny exclaims, pulling on Sid's neck, picking him up and shoving him on his back.

Diego turns and frowns, "But your herd's leaving."

"We are now." Manny smirks.

The possums cheer, sliding down Ellie's trunk onto Diego's back.

Y/N asks, "How'd you guys get here so fast without us hearing you?"

Ellie smirks, "Possums know how to sneak around."

Eddie agrees, "It's true."

"Wanna hop on, sweetie?" Ellie asks.

Y/N laughs, "Of course! I'm still wounded, remember?"

Ellie picks up Y/N, putting her on her back.

Sid asks, "Manny, who do you like better; me or Diego?"

"Diego. It's not even close." Manny scoffs.

Y/N bursts out laughing, lying down on Ellie's back as Sid pouts.

"Haha! Told ya!" Diego smirks.

"Alright, what about me or Y/N?" Sid asks.

"Y/N." Manny replies.

Y/N laughs harder.

"But she has that weird anger thing!" Sid exclaims.

E/N deadpans, "Weird anger thing? That's what he calls me?"

Y/N chuckles, "It's called an alternate personality, Sid."

"Manny, you can't choose between your kids." Ellie frowns.

Manny frowns, "He's not my kid. He's not even my dog. If I had a dog, and my dog had a kid, and my dog's kid had a pet, that would be Sid."

Sid asks, "Can I have a dog, Manny?"

"No." Both Manny and Y/N chorus.

Sid then turns to Ellie and asks, "Ellie, can I have a dog?"

"Of course you can, sweetie." Ellie smiles.

Manny frowns, "Ellie, we have to be consistent with him."

Y/N chuckles, "You sure he ain't your kid?"
