BACKGROUND: ★She was brought up in a rough household. Her parents were abusive drunks and druggies. One day, after she got home from middle school, her father was drunk and...angry. she didn't even know why, but before she could do anything, he had struck her across the face with a belt. It had cut her cheek open, leaving a nasty gash. Her mom, unwillingly, took her to the ER and had it stitched. She had lied, saying her daughter was a clutz and had tripped, cutting her cheek open. The stitched it, but it still left a nasty, permanent scar.★
