(Party Starts in an Hour)

"I don't know what to wear!" I whine plopping down on the floor crossing my arms.

"Girl look at all these clothes you have?" Dana says rummaging through my closet.

"But I look terrible in everything!" I stomp my foot.

"Oh shut up." Kendra says flipping through a magazine in my bed.

"I need to look good, Bentley went through all this trouble to throw me a party, I can't come looking like shit." I say standing back up.

"Language." Skipper says looking up from her phone.

I turn back to Dana to have clothes thrown in my face.

"Try these in ad tell me which one you like best." She says pulling up her pants.

I do as she says, and 3 outfits later I'm dressed.

Skipper did my make a natural color so it would look good with anything I wear, and Kendra fixed my hair so it was in cute beach waves.

"Alright, are we ready to go now?" Kendra groans rolling off my bed.

"Yes were ready to go." I say grabbing my phone.

"Wait! Lets take a pic in Lucy's bathroom real quick." Dana insists.

After a zillion of photos mater, my mother took pics of us and were on our way to Benlteys in a limo which was courtesy of Josh.

"Your mom really seems to like him." Dana says as we take off.

"Yeah, she does. He makes her happy." I say with a smile.

"Thats good. She deserves it." Dana nods.

And that she does.

This party is insane!

Bentley invited everybody during the game, and exactly everyone is here.

I even think some kids from Crimsaw are here.

Eh, who cares they all came to celebrate my birthday!

I hope that didn't sound concieted, I actually wasn't planning on doing anything for my birthday.

Without Dad, it just doesn't feel right, but i guess I should be grateful that Bentley did all this for me.

He really out did himself.

The kitchen is filled with all my favorite foods.

Pizza, chicken wings, chicken nuggets, French fries, and there is a huge display of cupcakes.

The dining room and and living room are filled with people dancing.

They even formed another dance circle!

And in the middle is my girl Skipper doing her thing.

But my favorite thing is how he set up the backyard.

There are Christmas lights wrapped around the trees, and they even cross over from one another looking like a beautiful lit spider web.

The pool has its lights, on. And he did the cutest thing.

Remember how in our first date, we danced to that one band?

We'll he got them to play, they brought a cute little set up.

I absolutely love them, especially the singer. Her name is Courtnae Swiss.

This time her hair is dyed pale blonde with washed out layers of purple and blue.

I absolutley love it and her style! It's edgy and totally gives off her hip personality.

Today she's wearing a giant black t-shirt that goes to her mid thighs, with galaxy socks and this really cool see through converse.

Maybe I should invest in those shoes.

Anywho, outside looks like a little fesitval.

There are popcorn and cotton candy machines, some carnival games, and Bentley even got a fortune teller.

"He probably paid a ridiculous amount of money for that woman, when he could have Dana done it for free." Kendra says from my side.

"Well, I wouldn't want her to do that, plus people can't know what she is." I say looking over everyone.

"True, girl Bentley is like nonstop moving, he's trying to make everything perfect." She says fixing her skirt.

"I know, I'm gonna go tell him to relax." I say getting up.

"Well, I'm gonna go find Ashton, he's probably playing foosball." She says rolling her eyes.

Ashton loves foosball, he wins every game.

I laugh and walk over to Bentley who is talking to one of the guys who runs the games.

"Dude 12:00? I'm playing 200 for each game set up, can you at least stay until 1:00?" Bentley says putting his hands out.

"Sorry kid, it's takes at least 30 minutes for us to pack up, plus he need to head out we have an Carnival in San Diego tomorrow night." The man says putting his hands in his pockets.

"But-" Bentley begins but I place my hand on his arms.

"12:00 is fine, thank you." I say pulling Bentley away from the guy.

"What'd you do that for?" Bentley asks.

"Bentley chill out." I say putting my hands on his shoulders.

"But everything is messed up." He says looking around.

"Are you crazy? Everything perfect! Look how many people are enjoying themselves right now." I say stepping to his side so we can look together.

"You did good kid." I say patting his back.

"I just wanted you to have a memorable night." He says looking at me.

"Bentley, this is best night I ever had! Everyone is here having a good time."

"Are you having a good time?" He asks taking my hand.

"No." I say.

"Why not? Is there something not right? How can I make it better?" He asks worried.

"Im having fantastic time, but it would be better if you stopped stressing and hung out with me." I say putting my hands around his waist.

He grins.

"I think I can do that. But I forgot something, I'll be right back" He says kissing my cheek then running into the house.

I groan.

"Attention all partiers!"

I turn to the stage to see Dana on stage next to Courtnae holding a microphone in one hand and a red solo cup in the other.

Well, here we go.

"We were all brought here today to celebrate my best friends birthday. And I'd just like to say if it wasn't for you we wouldn't be here!" She shouts.

"And, and I just want to say that I'm very honored to be your friend, your helped through my toughest times and let me borrow your favorite red sweater." Dana says with a sniffle.

Yeah, she's definitely drunk.

"Hey, I never let you borrow that." I say with a smirk. And to be honest I didn't. Everyone laughs.

Dana's eyes go big.

"Well, well I'm sorry i took it. It was just so soft and I wanted to wear it out to dinner with my family. But I was scared to ask. I actually have it back at the house, I was going to wrap it and give it back to you." She says as her eyes get glossy.

Just then Greyson walks on stage and tries to grab the Mic from her.

"I'm really sorry, and and I love you, Greyson stop!" She yells into Mic and everyone laughs, aswell as Greyson.

He finally gets the Mic from her then throw Dana over his shoulder.

"Sorry for the disruptance, as you can see Dana is drunk. Your program will be back in one moment." He says then hands the Mic to Courtnae.

"Happy Birthday Lucy!" Dana yells before Greyson is taking her into the house.

"Well that was interesting." Courtnae laughs into the mic.

Then she continues.

"Our next song is for all the couples, so everyone up!" She shouts. Then the band starts to play.

"My names Courtnae Swiss and we're The Tide." She says softly before singing the song.
I watch as couples start to dance, and spin one another.

It's so cute.

The band starts to play the intro as Courtnae sways a little to the beat.

Courtnae and The Tide better become famous, they are phenomenal at covers.

I start to sway to the sing when I feel someone's hands over my eyes.

I can't tell theyre Bentleys because my body fills up with energy against his touch.

"Keep your eyes closed." He whipsers in my ear.

I don't say anything but nod.

Then I feel my hair being swept over my shoulder, then something cold placed over my neck.

Then my arm is lifted and I feel something going around my wrist.

My hair is then put back in its original position.

"Open." Bentley says.

I open my eyes and look down to see a necklace.

On the silver chain, there is a cursive B.

In my wrist is a silver braclet with a plate that says "L & B forever" in crooked hand writing.

I turn to Bentley and he has a tiny smile.

"Thats actually my hand writing, the woman at the jewelry store said it would make it unique." He says scratching his neck.

Awwwwww.

"If you don't like it, we can exchange it for something else." He says nervously.

"I don't like it." I say.

His head whips up and flash of sadness creeps his face.

"I love it." I say hugging him.

"Alright you need to stop doing that, you scare me every time. " Bentley chuckles.

I pull away and just look at him as Courtnae gets into the second verse..

"Oh baby, look what you started
The temperature's rising in here
Is this gonna happen?
Been waiting and waiting for you to make a move

Before I make a move
(Woo, oh, oh, oh).."

Bentleys staring at me, and I'm staring him.

He then grabs my hands puts his forehead on mine.

Just when I think he's about to kiss me, he pushes me out and spins me as the song speeds up.

"So baby, come light me up and maybe I'll let you on it
A little bit dangerous, but baby, that's how I want it
A little less conversation, and a little more touch my body
Cause I'm so into you, into you, into you.."

I laugh as he spins me, and dips me.

It feels like we're in our first date again, just hopefully it doesn't turn up bad like it did.
