🚨BENTLEYS POV🚨

I feel like shit. I made Lucy cry for being an ignorant fool.

I shouldn't have told her that the Drama dressing room was where I used to bring girls to make out with.

So stupid. Mumbled my wolf.

I don't know what came over, but after seeing my mate cry like that I will never snap at her again.

After we hugged and she stopped crying I walked her to her locker then I walked her to gym. She was still stand offish.

I walked her to gym, and said my goodbyes.

"Where are you going?" She asked softly sounding like a whisper.

"I have things to take care of," I replied back.

"Bentley you can just leave school whenever you want." She said with sad eyes. I should have stayed but I had important pack things to do.

I then pulled out a note, "I can with my parents consent." I said with a wink trying to cut the tension.

She just shook her head and began to walk into gym, but I grabbed her shoulders and put my thumb underchin.

"Dont be upset. Smile." I said looking inter her eyes.

She just looked at me blankly.

"I know something that will make you smile." I said with a smirk.

She tilted her head curious.

I then turned my head to the side and kissed her on her cheek.

When I pulled away, I saw her face was as red as an firetruck, and she was smiling ear to ear.

I then turned on my heels and jogged to the main office. I handed my note to Mrs. Jackson and walked out to my black G Wagon.

I drove to my house to see my mother, our pack doctor and Karlie Ann.

"Finally your here." Said Karlie Ann throwing her hands up.

"Yeah, yeah." I said walking over to the three.

"Alright now that everyone's here, we need to talk about these rogues." My mom began.

"Yes, i was out in the city this weekend and I caught a fairly heavy scent of rogues on the outskirts."

"We need to start preparing the rest of pack. If they are what Winston claims they are to be, we need to be ready to attack them and protect the humans." Said Karlie Ann.

Karlie Ann is the strongest fighters I've came to known. She is our packs leader of the warriors and the trainer.

"I agree, Bentley. We need to be ready. " said my mother.

I nodded.

"Okay, tomorrow everyone will be here for training. I will call Winston for more information on these rogues. Until then I want everyone to be on alert." I stated.

"Yes alpha." The three replied.

We all then went our separate ways, as I went to the pack house. I grabbed a Gatorade and drank it one gulp.

Once I was done I walked to back door and stretched.

"Can we go for run?" Asked my wolf.

He hasn't been out in a while, I guess I owe it him.

I walked out the back door and about my clothes shifted in them.

My clothes began to rip and my bone began to break.

Some wolf's say it hurts when they are shifting, but to me it feels great.

Once I was done shifting I was in my wolf form.

My wolf's name is Ace, hes at least 6 feet and he is dark brown with a white patch on his left paw.

Before we began our run, Ace let out a howl that shook my whole body. Ace hasn't been out forever and now he'll never want to back in.

Its now dark, and We've been running for hours, and Ace won't let me shift.

He keeps running around our territory chasing everything he sees.

Let's go by mates house! Ace cheers.

Ace and I usually disagee, but this want a bad idea.

We run as fast as we can to Lucy's house. It's would be and fortyfive minute walk from where we were in human form, but it only took 10 in wolf form.

Once we arrive to her house, we see that all her lights are on. She is on the second floor, which I'm guessing is her room. Her curtains were closed but I could see her shadow.

I could see her jumping around and waving her arms.

I took a step closer out of the bushes to get a closer look, when Lucy suddenly opens her patio door to revel her self.

She was in a giant t-shirt that went to her mid knees, her hair was in a giant messy bun, with little pieces framing her face, and she had on a pair of glasses.

She looked so hot. I wanted to move closer to her but I remember she was afraid of animals, and I didn't want to scare her. So I sat on the ground with my head above the bushes watching her.

She had a brush in her hand she was singing to a song.

" Don't need permission
Made my decision to test my limits

Start what I finished

She was swaying and hitting the high notes perfectly making me and Ace wanting to continue.

She then walked back into her room singing quieter. She began to turn off all the lights in house when she was done she jumped on her bed under her comforters and picked up a book on her night stand.

I watched her as she read the book, how her eyes slowly began to look heavy. After reading a few pages she took of her glasses and placed them on her nightstand along with her book. She then pulled the covers up to her shoulders and laid still.

Watching her body rise and fall, I walked towards her house. The bottom of her patio was only a couple inches over my head. I put my paws on the floor if it and leaped over so I was now on her patio.

I sat there watching her as she slept so peacfully. I remember when she stayed over at m house as she held me so closely like she was holding on for her life.

I wish I could be holding her right now.

I quietly walked into her room, and looked around.

Her room was painted grey, and she had Christmas lights going all around the room.

And clipped to the cords of the lights were clothes pins with pictures.

Some of were her and her friend Dana, others were of her her mom. I even saw a few of her and Kendra. But none were of her dad.

I walked around her room sniffing everything. It all smelled like her. Chocolate and strawberries.

While I was sniffing things, I heard her move. I froze.

She shuffled around for a little but then she stopped. I turned to see that she threw her blanket on the floor and she was laying on her side.

I walked over to her so I could see her face. She had a faint smile, I could tell she was dreaming. Of what I don't know, but I hope they are of me.

Her hand was hanging of her bed, in front my face. Ace began to lick it making Lucy smile even more.

Then she whispered something that I couldn't hear. I walked closer to hear and my hopes were right.

She whispered, "Bentley. "

Ace then licked her cheek making her scrunch her nose. I began to back away when she did something tha t made my stomach drop.

Her eyes opened...

She didn't scream she didn't do anything. She just stared at Ace.

She then put her hand out. Ace hesitated for second but then placed his cheek in her hand.

She held it their for while rubbing Aces face until we were getting sleepy.

'We can't fall asleep here.' I said to Ace.

Why not? Mate isn't scared of us. Ace whined.

'She thinks she's dreaming.' I replied back, as much I didn't want leave I knew we had to.

Lucy then pulled her hand back and turned on her other side so her back was facing us.

We took that as our cue to leave. I turned my head one more time to look at our mate.

Finally Ace jumped off the patio.

We slowly walked back into the woods until we heard something that set us running.

It was Greyson mindlinking us.

Rogues.
