Human and Monster Au

Logan's P.O.V

By the next morning I had already awaken from my slumber and in the living room doing research on my spells. I yawned having just woke up bout' an hour ago, though it was only seven on a Saturday morning. It is strange to wake up on the weekend when teens my age would be sleeping in and not doing any studying. But for me, I study whether it is in the sunmer or during the school year, it keeps me occupy. Plus I will be applying to a wizardly school far from here.

I am recently studying the magic of disappearance and regeneration. I am also studying forbidden magic and potions from centuries ago, it is odd but the person who created these potions is a mystery. Those who tried to figure them out will end up dead or discourage. I have found out one thing about them though.

I close my books once I heard footsteps behind me. I stood up and gather my things "Virgil if you are trying to scare me again it is not working. We've been through this multiple times."

I turned and the person wasn't Virgil it was in fact Roman actually. I figure he would stay in bed with Virgil or sleep in.

I stared at him for about a minute before talking to him "Apologies Roman, but I thought you were Virgil he tends to try and scare me which is utterly ridiculous. But why are you awake so early?"

Roman just stood there, looking around, like he didn't know where he was before speaking "Why am I here?"

"It seems you don't remember, you were on our doorsteps and passed out once my mother opened the door and questioned why your wrist was burned. But all you said was Virgil and passed out, I took care of wrist while you were uncousious." I didn't tell him what I found out yesterday since Virgil wasn't here with him, but I know this will be hard news for both of them.

"Oh. I didn't realize I came here, but I better get going home my parents must be getting worried" he said it like he doesn't want to leave. I don't understand why though, his parents must be worried about him but what if. No that can't be a possibility.

"Actually I need you stay with us today, we got some work that needs to be done and news to be share." I place my books on the coffee stand and sat down. I patted the seat next me. Roman sat down next to me a little further away.

"Roman, can you tell me what happened to your wrist? I would like to know" he shifted anxiously like how Virgil does whenever talking about his father.

"I was playing with fire outside with a friend and burned my wrist on accident when getting to fire wood in. Can I go now?"

I didn't believe one word. That can't be from a fire, that is a serious burn but I decided to let him to me about it.

"Okay. Let's say you did play with fire yesterday after school, because I did not see a burn on wrist during drama class yesterday. So, here is my theory. You don't want me to know the truth because you are afraid of me telling everyone and making a fool of you? Am I correct?" Roman didn't say anything, just stared off like he was thinking. I am not sure what was going on in his mind but from his facial expression it wasn't a pleasant thought.

"Yes you be correct" he spoke quietly. I nodded to myself.

"I am not that type of person you know. I keep secrets and although some are stupid I do keep them. I am not saying you should tell me everything but just what you want to tell from yesterday."

"Virgil knows more then you already, I don't need anybody else knowing. I will tell you what happened yesterday but Virgil doesn't know what happened and he probably already figured it out....My mother and I were aruging and she burned my wrist on the kitchen stove. That's all you need to know."

He stood up and walked towards the door. So I was right, he is being abuse at home, and Virgil must have known this to.

"I would wait before going home, Virgil would be disappointed if you were to leave him without him knowing. Besides the point, you don't want to go home and I insist staying here. Plus I have something to discuss with you and Virgil"

He paused at the door, his hand on the handle, he looked at me and walked upstairs assuming to Virgil's bedroom. I gather my stuff and headed to my room.

An hour later the door bell rung and I answered it since I was in the kitchen eating breakfast. Stood infront of me was Patton wearing his cardigan as a jacket.

"I am here to help my friends!" He said cheerfully. I shush him to be quiet and told him everyone else was asleep. He nodded and I walk outside, and closed the door.

"Alright, you know why you are here?"

Patton nodded, he smiled and brought out a bag "I've brought the stuff. Are we gonna do it now or later?"

"Let's do it later, when we have a plan and I want Roman and Virgil to be with us. The police specifically asked for Roman to show evidence that this was a real crime. This task shouldn't be that hard, all we really have to do is have the person who had his way with Roman to confess and we send that to the police. Should be easy"

I nodded to myself. I am so smart.

"Uhm...Logan? I have a question"

"What is your question?"

Patton looked uneasy and nervous wonder why.

"Uhm...erm...Don't we have to use Roman as bait? I mean I doubt Tom will just give away what he done to us. He would have to have an opportunity to do it again..right?"

I thought about it for a second. He's not wrong, somebody who done something terrible wouldn't be so easily opened when it comes crimes they commited.

"I suppose we do need him to be bait for this to work, I could make a small mic so he can put it in shirt. But, we would have to wait until school on Monday and that should give us enough time to figure out more like if this plan doesn't work."

Patton sighed and played with the trimming of his cardigan

"I don't want to put Roman through that, even if I only met him for a day he seems nice and Virgil really cares about him...How would Virgil react to this plan?"

"He wouldn't agree to it but he knows this Tom guys route and friends. If anything Virgil would skip class to protect Roman but he does have an suspension for a week but even so he would still go to school despite being in trouble again."

Patton nodded. "We can talk more in my room and you can show me what you brought" he nodded again and we went up to my bedroom.

Virgil's P.O.V

I woke up to the sunlight in my face. I groan and sat up, looking around and saw Roman hugging his knees silently looking out of window.

"Ro? Are you okay?"

Roman face me and he had tear stains on his cheeks. He hugged me tightly, curling up on my side.

"I'm sorry I came here last night.."

I glide my fingers through his hair, my head against the headboard.

"I'm glad you came to me, I didn't want you to be with your parents after what happened yesterday at school. I knew something might happen"

I felt him lean into the touch a bit before looking up at me

"Still...I'm guessing you know who caused my burned wrist?"

"I wish I didn't but it was your Mother right?"

He nodded and went back to cuddling my side

"We had an argument and she burned my wrist on the stove...I was...I was screaming for help....I even called out your name and Alpha."

He called my name and I wasn't there for him, I'm a terrible boyfriend. I'm his Alpha but I wasn't there and I only have myself to blame.

"Anyways could I stay here for the day? I don't want to deal with my parents today"

"Huh? Oh uh..sure"

He looked up at me and frowned. Did I say something wrong?

"Are you okay?"

"To be honest? No, I'm not. I let you get hurt again and I could have prevented it"

He placed his hand on my cheek and smiled slightly

"It's okay. You didn't know what would happen or when, I'm just glad that I'm here with you."

I kissed the palm of his hand and smiled

"I like you alot you know that?"

Roman giggled and nodded, he leaned up and kissed my cheek

"I like you alot too"

"So what you want to do today? Well first we need to check your wrist but beside that what do you want to do?"

"Take a shower, that's a thing I want to do" I laughed and he got up,he stretched and I got a chance to look at his back. It looked so smooth and unharm.

"Hey Alpha? Could I borrow some of your clothes? I don't want to go home to get mine"

I rolled my eyes and stand up, wrapping my arms around his waist

"Hmm, I dunno. You would have to do something for me"

Roman turned around and had a mischievous smirk on his lips

"Oh and what would you want me to do for you hm?"

I picked him up and placed my hands on his torso and his arms around my neck

"Just a little kiss and you can borrow my clothes"

"I can do that" I smirked and he leaned in and kissed me. He closed his eyes and I did as well. Our lips were in sync, moving together perfectly. It felt so perfect, like we could do this all day long without getting tired of it. But, he pulled away much to my disappointment.

"So can I borrow your clothes?"

"A deal is a deal. Go ahead and steal my clothes you weirdo" I put him down and he went straight for my closet.

"You must really love the color black and purple and emo bands"

I laughed and walked over to him "You have a emo boyfriend congratulations, you figured it out" I could see him roll his eyes noting my sarcasm.

"I'm still gonna steal your clothes...Alright I got your clothes and I'll wear the same underwear since I don't think your comfortable with that."

"Sorry baby but I'll let you borrow my clothes but not my underwear, we aren't there yet"

Roman blushed and giggled. He kissed my cheek and exit the bedroom and assuming going to the bathroom.

I smiled and got dress and headed downstairs. I sat on the stool once I got my cereal and played on my phone.

"Oh Virgil, I'm glad your awake is Roman still here?" I turn around and saw Logan and Patton standing next to each other. I swallow my cereal I had in my mouth anf nodded.

"Why wouldn't he be here?"

"He was up this morning and if I wasn't down here he would have gone home, without thinking twice of his decision."

"Oh....uhm..Logan? You said yesterday that you needed to talk to Roman and I about something important?"

"Oh yes, indeed. Where is he?"

"In the shower-"

I heard a scream coming from upstairs. I ran upstairs, towards the bathroom where my family was already surrounded it. I could tell the door was open but I didn't think about it, I barged through my family and saw Roman on the floor. He was clutching his stomach, thank goodness he was in his underwear. I ran towards him, I picked his head and placed it on my lap.

"Shhh, Shhh. Roman what's wrong? Why are you clutching your stomach?"

"It hurts! It hurts so much! Make it stop! Make it stop!" He was trembling. I didn't know what to do but pick him up and place him in my lap as I rock him.

"Shh, shhh, mate it's okay there's nothing wrong with your stomach okay?"

"Actually there is" I look up and Logan was standing infront of the doorway

"What do you mean? What's wrong with him?"

"This is what I wanted to talk about earlier with you two. Yesterday I figured out, that Roman is carrying a child."

My whole world just crashed infront of me. I looked down at Roman who looked even more shocked and ashamed of himself.

"You're joking right? He can't be! He's a male"

"Virgil we live in a world where humans and monsters are together and can reproduce children despite gender. But since he's human, it's a bit odd. The monster male is the only species that can reproduce like a women."

"Logan. He's an omega but a human. What does that make him then?"

"I'll explain more later but right now. You two need get this straight. Roman is pregnant."

There we sat on the ground silently. I finally stood up, while holding Roman.

"I want him to get dress and taken to the hostpital. I have things to take care of, if he's here before I am after the doctors have him stay at our house. I don't want him near his parents."

"What are you going to do?" Roman asked quietly. I kissed his forehead and sat him down so he stood up.

"I'm going to do something alright? Go with my mother and she will take you and Logan go with him as well." I kissed his lips this time and walked out of the bathroom and slipped on my shoes. I walked out the door, anger filling my body.

Get ready for a beating Tom.
