Chapter 1 ~

Virgil's P.O.V

"Why do I have to show a human around the school? You know I hate humans and it's worst that I have to go to school with them!"

I groaned, and pouted

"Will you shut up already? I am trying to figure out the right ingredients for my potion"

Logan my friend is a wizard, he was adopted by my family 2 years ago he is older than me he is 18 in 12th grade. While I am in 10th grade, it made me mad that he treats me as a child I'm 16 for christ sakes!

"I have nobody else to rant about this too! I don't want to deal with another human being! I hate this"

I heard Logan sigh, and put down his book on potions

"If you don't want to show this human around tomorrow then don't do it. I am getting tired of hearing you complain about someone who you don't know of."

I huffed and crossed my arms

"I have to show him around, if I don't then I'm going to go to detention and I already have enough detention this year. I just don't want to deal with a arrogant brat"

"Suck it up and deal with it, it's not like you're going to hang out with him after you him around. Show him around, once you are done go to class and never speak to him. Simple as that"

Logan opened up his book and started to read again

"Fiiiine, but if he starts picking a fight. Don't expect me to be home for dinner."

"Yes I believe I know, after your recent fights and detentions; Which you should really stop. Besides we both go to the same school, if he does start a fight then I will report him to the principal, as a eye witness. Plus you are forgetting that I know basic magic, I can conquer a potion if you need to. Unless you ask for something that can kill someone then no. Okay?"

I mumbled a yes and walked to my walk. I plopped on top of my bed, I plug in my ear buds, and blast music while grabbing my laptop and starting my homework.

"VIRGIL GET YOUR ASS DOWN HERE! YOU'RE GOING TO BE LATE!"

I jumped up and looked around and looked at the time

"Shit" I have five minutes to get to the bus. I stumbled out of bed and hurried getting dress and shoes on, grabbing mt essentials I need and rushed down stairs

"Bye Mom! Bye Uncle Alex! Bye Jennifer! Bye Uncle Trex! Bye Aunt Lyn! Bye everybody else!"

I rushed out of the house, and ran outside. I saw the bus, pull and use my werewolf speed and ran before the bus door closed. I huffed out of breathe and got on the bus. The bus driver rolled her eyes and told me to sit down. I huffed and sat in the back, I plugged in my ear buds in and looked out the window.

I heard kids yelling, laughing, and whispering. I didn't bother looking around inside the bus, it was just the same people and the same humans. I hate them. If you are wondering why, that's because humans killed my father while protecting his family. I watched everything happen

Flashback~

My father was growling at the humans who were attacking us, he stood in his alpha posed which if you were a werewolf you would know that if an alpha was in their pose then they mean business. My father was guarding us, my mom, my sister and brothers, and me. I was so scared.

"Sray away from my pack!"

I heard my father growled, I had my siblings behind me so they can't see anything but that didn't stop them from hearing.

"We just want the baby that's all then we can be on our way"

One of the humans said, smiling creepily

"No!! He is apart of my pack so back off or I will fight you till you die human!"

My father growled showing his sharp teeths. The humans chuckled and smiled, they attacked him and hurt him. My father was strong but I knew he wasn't able to beat them on his own.

"Mom take everyone to the safe place, dad got them distracted so they won't notice you guys leaving but go quickly"

I whispered

"What about you brother? Why aren't you coming?"

My younger sister asked

"I'm going to help dad, don't worry okay?"

"Please come with us"

My mother begged, I shook my head and scooted them away as fast as I could away from the house but another human saw us and ran towards my mother and siblings. I growled and tackled the human before they reached my family

"Stay away my fucking family you bastards!"

I punched the human senselessly until I felt a sharp pain on my hip. I howled in pain, and dropped on the ground, I looked at my hip and saw blood. My mother and siblings cried, I look at them and looked at my father who was on the ground motionless

"DAD!!! YOU BASTARDS!!!! I'M GOING TO KILL YOU!!" I swiftly grabbed the dagger from the human's hand and at least cut each human deep enough. I wasn't a murder, if I leave then I will not be able to protect my family.

They left. All the humans left. I panted and dropped on the ground next to my father, I heard my mother and siblings running towards me and my father. I howled out a cry of pain.

"I'm sorry dad, I love you so much"

We moved next month, I had a scar on my hip, I have nightmares of that day, 2 years and I have an older brother he was adopted, we were happy but we still mourn over my father.

Flashback End~

I felt tears on my cheeks, I quickly wiped then away. The bus stopped at a new location, I've never seen before but I couldn't care less, everyone was still doing the same thing before stopping instantly.

Strange it's never been this quiet before, I shrug it off and continue looking at the window that was until I smelled someone. Not like a disgusting smell and omega smell.

"Hello? Can you here me?"

I took out my ear buds and looked at the boy standing there

"Uh yes?" That sounded like a question great job Virgil!

The boy laughed

"I was wondering if I could sit here?"

I nodded almost immediately and watched as he sat next to me smiling. God his smell is amazing

"My name is Roman Qute, what's your name?"

I stared at him, a pretty boy who will most likely become popular within this weel is talking to me. Fuck, why the hell does he smell like an omega? He looks like a fucking human!

"Uh are you okay? I'm pretty sure asking for your name isn't hard to say unless you don't have a name"

"N-No I have a name it's uh...Virgil...Virgil Black and yes I'm okay"

"Really? Because it sounds to me that you aren't but I'm not going to push it. Anyways Virgil, I am guessing you are a werewolf? From the ears and tail plus your smell right?"

"I-I uh..Y-Yes...? Sorry I just can't get over your smell, it's amazing oh my gods that sounded weird didn't it? I am so sorry if I came off as creepy"

"Hey it's okay I get compliments on my smell all the time it's no big deal it sorta happens. But it's not your fault! I swear"

I nodded and fiddle with my shirt

"So are you a werewolf as well?"

Roman laughed like I was joking, he looked back at me and shook his head

"Nope, I'm an omega human."

Wait what? A omega human. A human. A omega? This must be a joke right? This pretty boy can't be a human. I started growling, thoughts about humans and hatrd

"Hey are you okay? You'rw growling"

I felt his hand on my shoulder and I pushed his hand off my shoulder and growled

"Get your hand off me human."

I stared at him and for a moment I saw hurt in his eyes but he immediately smiled

"I'm sorry, I shouldn't have touches your shoulder without asking. I will shut up now"

I looked at him before looking out the window.

The bus finally stopped at school and I waited for Roman to get off the bus, I didn't want to see him. I was the last person off the bus, I walked into the office and waited for the kid to get here. I already know that it's going to be Roman, I never saw that boy in this school if I did then he would be pretty obvious. His smell, how can a human be a omega. But how can an omega survive this school, I know for a fact that this school if filled with alpha's and very few omegas and most of them are girls. But this. Roman is going to be a main target is he isn't careful, I don't want anyone taking him.

I just met the dude and I feel over protective of him. I hate my alpha instincts. I just have to ignore him for the rest of my highschool years, unless he moves or I. I was called into the front office, I got up from my seat and walked over to the secretary area and immediately saw him being surrounded my the boys in the halls, I opened the door leading to the hallway and grabbed his wrist, growling at the other boys.

"Come on you idiot"

I walked him away from the group of boys and out of my luck the bell rung and I sighed.

"Why are you outside in the hallway? These hallways are packed with stupid teenagers with crazy hormones."

"Sorry, the principal said that I could hang in the hallway while waiting for my guide. I waited and then a bunch of guys came up with to me and started to ask me questions and if you weren't there I think they might have started to be physically. But thank you for getting me out of there, how did you do that anways?"

"I'm an alpha, I am the second powerful alpha and most of these students don't know that."

"Wait are you going to try anything?"

I laughed and shook my head

"P'lease I can control my hormones, besides I'm in rut. But let's not talk about that. Anyways I am your guide, I am suppose to show you around, tell you the rules, and all the shit. You got your schedule?"

Roman nodded and handed me his schedule

"Hm. We got homeroom, 2nd period' 3rd period, 4th, lunch, 6th, and 8th we got all but three classes together alright then. Let's get this started"

I started walking with him following me

Oh boy this is going to be a long day
