What do I do?, Grant their wishes or tell Annie the truth?, Angels don't lie right?.

I just gave Annie a smile and hopefully God doesn't count it as a lie cause technically I didn't lie. Annie squeals with joy and goes to the standing rectangular thing and brings out some vegetables in a plate-like thing with a cover.

"Mom, why aren't you eating with us?" Jace asks with a half full mouth.

"I'm on a diet, I eat only vegetables now" his mum said eating from the plate-like thing.

"Lucky you" Jace muttered loud enough for me to hear.

Dinner was finally over and here I am standing on the middle of the room I'd be staying in. A couple of thoughts ran through my mind and majority of them was centered on what my mission would be, how long was I going to spend here?, How do I get accustomed to the human world?...

My thoughts were interrupted when I heard a knock on the door followed by the door opening slightly, I was a bit scared because this was exactly how angel Emmaculata told us bad guys broke into human houses during her story time.

"Elena?", Jake said as he poked his head into the room. He put his finger on his lips and waved his hand over.

" Come downstairs" he whispered, "silently we don't want to wake mum".

I just followed him as he tip toed out of the room. On getting to the dinning, I saw James and Jace sitting on the chairs with a glass of water and white little tablets.

"Here" Jace told jake, "take the medicine big guy it'll calm your stomach" he said giving his brother the white tablets.

"Oh you can use the bathroom in my room since Jack is in the other one" Jace said after Jake who was already running up the stairs.

James stood up and put his hand on my shoulder giving me a small smile, " take the medicine kiddo and I'm sorry you had to experience this on your first day here".

"Well guys I'm going to bed so your mum doesn't wake up and start looking for me" he said heading upstairs.

"Good night Dad" Jace said taking two of the tablets and swallowing them with water.

" Here take this" he said giving me the medicine which I took from his hands and repeated what he did so I didn't seem suspicious although I don't need it.

"Um thanks for not telling my mum the truth about her food cause she would have felt sad, the point is that although she can't cook she still works hard to learn and that's what matters" Jace said and i would be lying if I said I wasn't surprised cause this was the longest thing Jace has said to me since I came here.

"It's ok" I don't know what came over me, maybe it was the touching story because I actually spoke. Not that I'm dumb or anything but I couldn't bring my self to speak. So this was surprising to me.

I guess I'm not the only one surprised cause Jace was looking at me with wide eyes.

"Looks like you are not dumb after all" he said smirking.

"Who said I was dumb?" I asked although I knew fully well I didn't speak since I got here.

"Nobody did, whatever" he said as he packed the medications and walked towards the stairs

"Uh goodnight?" I said which sounded more like a question. He just waved his hand without looking back and entered his room. Before he entered his room I saw a symbol at the back of his neck, angel Emmaculata said something about it before she called it.. erm.. what did she say it was again? Oh yes, she called it a tattoo, only he would know what the meaning of the tattoo is.

I looked around the house I would be staying in till I know what my task is.

"God help me" I muttered before heading back to my room.

The second I stepped into the room, the door closed shut and everywhere became windy all of a sudden. Suddenly I heard sir Antonio's voice and it sounded like an echo.

"Elena listen carefully, there has been a glitch in the system and now it will take more time to figure out what exactly your task is" the tone he used showed that he definitely had a grim expression on his face

"So.. sir, what do I do here in the meantime?" I asked timidly

"Err you can settle in the human world and I hear their food tastes good" he said

"No it doesn't"I said immediately, "I witnessed the horrific taste of human food today" I added

"Oh, I better get going" he said, "and remember never tell anyone who you are because it can cause more harm than you can ever imagine, do you understand?" He said sternly

"Yes sir" I said a little bit afraid

The whistling of the wind ended and everything went back to normal. I took a deep breath and laid down on the bed to get a shut eye. Many thoughts ran through my head and it was mostly centered on what my life will be like on Earth and what my mission will be and most importantly how to get Annie to stop cooking till she fully learns how to.

I gave myself one mission to accomplish and it was operation act like a human.
