What is this?

    I had no idea what this was and what I was supposed to do with it. I bent down and wore it on my hands. I looked at my two hands, it looked nice

     "and we have a comedian in our hands, yay" Jace said sarcastically rolling his eyes.

      "Come on dear, put on these slippers " Annie said taking the so called slippers from my hands and placed them beside my feet. I put on the slippers and it seemed just right.
 
     "Jace dear, take her to Celine's house, OK?" Annie said and headed back inside
  
       "but Mom..."

        "no buts, go now" Annie instructed.

        "fine" Jace kept on mumbling to himself until he reached the door, "Are you going to keep staring at me or will you stand up and move" he said annoyed at me?, at his mum?, Who knows.

        I stood up immediately and followed him outside. Few minutes later we were standing in front of a door. I looked around and observed the house, it looked just like Annie's house. Jace rang the door bell and a woman who looked like she was the same age as Annie came out

       "Jace, how many times do I have to tell you not to ring the door bell? you could have opened the door with the key I gave you guys" the woman said moving aside for Jace and I to enter.

       "Sorry Susan I just keep forgetting " Jace said kicking off his shoes

        "it's ok, um who's the girl with you?"Susan asked only noticing me now.

         "Mum's probably going to tell you about her later, where is Celine by the way? " Jace replied

        "She's upstairs, I better set a day for your mum and I to catch up, it's been long since we sat down and talked " she said more to herself.

     " More like sat down and gossiped " Jace mumbled, I almost laughed at what he said plus Susan didn't even hear him.
 
    " Did you say anything?" Susan asked

    "Nope, I mean yes I said we'll be going upstairs now so see you later" he said quickly and ran upstairs and I followed him.

We reached in front of a door that had a sign saying 'Celine's room, do not enter or else...' and Jace did the exact opposite of what the sign said, he swung the door open, isn't it bad to go against the sign?.

      "You can enter " Jace said but I didn't budge, he must have sensed my hesitation, "forget about the sign it's just for decoration" he said taking my hand and dragged me inside

     "Well well well look who came visiting " I turned and saw a dark haired girl come out from another door inside the room

     "No time to talk, my mum sent me here to tell you to give this girl some of your clothes" Jace said sitting on the bed making himself comfortable.

     "Fine" she replied rolling her eyes, "as for you" she said looking at me "let's go have a dress up party!" she skipped towards another section of her room that had many clothes

    "try this one" she threw a dress at me

     "and this one" she threw another one

     "ooo this one too"she threw yet another one

      " I think you are going to bury her with all those clothes" Jace said stretching his body on the bed.

      "oh this is nothing, wait till I take her to the mall" she said still searching for more clothes

I looked at the clothes she gave me and I didn't even know how to put some of them on, I raised the one that has two legs and looked at it weirdly.
 
     "You know what trousers are right?" Celine asked me noticing the look on my face,
I shook my head 'no'
And that's how she went on and on about about how to put on jeans and even made me wear a couple of other clothes.

       "Here, you can take these ones for free" she said handing me a bag containing clothes.

Jace just scoffed at her "you? Free? What do you really want in return?" he asked her raising his eyebrow.

      Celine smiled mischievously "She has to escort me to the mall tomorrow"

What's a mall?

      "so what's your name?" Celine asked looking at me.

       "I bet her name is Kate, it's a regularly name" Jace said looking at the rectangular box that emitted light in his hands.

      "I don't think so she looks like an Elena or Alanna" Celine said rubbing her chin, "so what's your name?" she asked again looking at me

       I just looked at her and looked around searching for what to write with cause I don't know why I couldn't bring myself to talk .

      "OK here you go" Celine said handing me a paper and a stick

      "write it down"

I took it from her and stared at the paper. I tapped the stick on the paper and ink came out I guess I'll just use this stick to write, I scribbled my name on the paper and handed it back to her

"Elena" Celine said and gasped    "Yes!, I said it!!' she yelled and fist bumped into the air

     "It can't be possible, she probably told you when you guys were having your mini fashion show" Jace said dumbfounded.

     "Nuh uh, don't be a sore loser, Jacey poo" Celine listed off

     "ok ok I get it, you win happy?" Jace snapped at her annoyed

I noticed jace's rectangular box blinking and I tapped him on the shoulder

     "What?!" Jace snapped, I pointed at his box and he turned and picked the box up

      "Celine, we got to go my mum is starting to think I sold this fellow or something cause she said and I quote 'better bring the girl with you" Jace said heading to the door

Wait a minute, who's this fellow?, so much for telling them my name, as if reading my mind Celine told Jace "it's Elena not this fellow, stupid"

     "yeah whatever" Jace rolled his eyes and left

      " You better go after him cause that chicken head isn't gonna wait for you" Celine said straightening her bed.

Oh I almost forgot I had to go with Jace, I ran after him only to find him already at the entrance of his house. I just gave up on running and took my time to get to the house.

I finally reached the front door to find Annie scolding Jace and Jace looking at her with a bored face

      "I've told you mum she can find her way here, Celine probably started gossiping with her or something" Jace said in a bored tone

    "but you couldn't have-" she stopped when she finally noticed me behind Jace "oh my goodness, there you are dear" she exclaimed pulling me inside the house.

     "Oh great, she decides to show up" Jace rolled his eyes.

     "Shut up Jace, so did Celine give you any of her clothes hun?" she asked smiling. I nodded, raising the bags Celine gave me

      "Oh great" she said observing the clothes "she has quite a lot"
"Jake! Jack!!, Come downstairs for a minute!" Annie screamed so loud that it could wake the dead

       "Ow ow my ears" Jack said tumbling down the stairs

       "Mum take it easy please" Jake mumbled

Jake looked like the quiet one among them while Jack seemed... Loud

"Since we have a plus one..."

"It's Elena" Jace said cutting her off.

Annie gave him a confused look, "who's Elena?"

"Your guest, her name is Elena, she told Celine and I " he said scratching the back of his neck, he didn't seem to like the attention he was receiving.

    "Oh ok" she smiled "since Elena is here with us now, we have to adjust our sleeping arrangements"

     "Noo!"

     "Oh"

     "Ugh"
