01- Meet the Sharmas!
"Abhinav, Abhir, get up, it's already six-thirty! You two will be late, and I will be late too because of you both!" Akshara exclaimed as she gently pulled the quilt off her husband and her son's frames.
"Paanch minute, Akshara, please," Abhinav mumbled, half-asleep.
"Papa, mummy is lying. It's not six-thirty, it's six in the morning," Abhir piped in, trying to be clever.
"Oye! Mr. Clever Sharma, hurry up and get up, or you'll have bread without jam," Akshara retorted playfully.
"Uth jaa, nikkeji, chal," Abhinav finally stirred and stood up. Rubbing his eyes and stretching, he scooped up Abhir in his arms and planted a kiss on his cheek. It was their morning ritual ever since Abhir was born. Abhir snuggled closer to his father, and Akshara couldn't help but smile at the sweet scene.
"Umm, what about my morning kiss?" Abhinav teased, blinking his eyes mischievously.
Akshara playfully smacked Abhinav's shoulder and gave him a gentle kiss on the cheek. Abhinav exaggeratedly widened his eyes in response.
"Energized! All set for work!" Abhinav exclaimed dramatically before whisking Abhir towards the bathroom, causing Akshara to chuckle.
"So theatrical!" she muttered affectionately, shaking her head as she made her way to the kitchen.
Abhir looked at his father's stomach incredulously and counted not just one, not two, but four defined abdominal muscles. "You have got four abs Papa," he declared in amazement. His father, Abhinav, flashed a proud smile and flexed his muscles, exclaiming, "All because of your mother's diet plan. I will get the six-pack soon!" Abhinav laughed and ruffled his son's hair affectionately.
"Indeed, Mummy is a magician in the kitchen. She manages to whip up both healthy meals and restaurant-like delicacies at home," Abhinav remarked, combing Abhir's hair back into place. "Mummy's cooking skill is unmatched, just like her love for us," Abhir agreed, looking up at his father with admiration.
As Abhinav buttoned up his shirt, freshly ironed by Akshara, he asked Abhir, "Have you packed everything for school, beta?" Abhir nodded, adjusting his school ID card with a smile. "All set. By the way, have your designs for the new project been finalized?" he inquired, curious about his father's architectural venture.
Abhinav nodded proudly. "Yes, it's a significant project. Once this is completed, our architecture firm, Planetary, will soar to new heights!" He patted Abhir's back.
''ATB papa!''
"Thank you, Nikkeji," Abhinav replied with gratitude.
Just then, they heard Akshara's melodious voice calling them down for breakfast. "Nashta lag gaya hai table pe, aa jao dono," she announced, her voice echoing through the house.
With their bags in tow, Abhinav and Abhir made their way downstairs, ready to fuel up for the day ahead.
As Akshara saw Abhir gulping down the sandwiches hungrily, she couldn't help but chuckle, "Araam se baba! Khaana bhaag nahi raha hai."
Abhinav, sitting beside her, teased, "Bilkul tum par gaya hai, bhukkad!" He earned a sharp glare from Akshara in response.
"Main bhukkad?" Akshara's eyebrows furrowed in irritation.
"Jab Abhir tumhare belly se bahar aagya tha, tumne ussey godh me lekar mujhe kaha tha ki tumhe cheese sandwiches chahiye," Abhinav reminded her with a smirk.
"Kyunki mujhe bhook lag rahi thi," Akshara replied with a cute pout.
"Accha? Delivery ke pehle tumne pastry khayi thi - woh bhi three pieces," Abhinav teased, gesturing a 'three' with his fingers.
"Uff ho! Nashta karo. Aise lagta hai ki kisine pre-nursery ke bacchon ko yahan chhod diya hai," Abhir said, looking up from his plate of sandwiches.
"Oye! Chup kar haan!" Akshara feigned anger, while Abhinav chuckled.
"Waise jaise bhi ho, tum meri ho," Abhinav said lovingly.
"Main humesha aapki hi rahungi Mr. Cute Sharma," Akshara replied with a smile.
"Bilkul. Waise tumhare case ka kya hua, Mrs. Lawyer?"
"Aaj hearing hai. Case simple hai. Rules tode hain toh fine bharna padega. They just exaggerated a lot," Akshara explained.
"All the best!" Abhinav wished her luck.
"Apke designs ka kya hua Mr. Architect?" Akshara asked chewing her sandwich.
"Bas yeh wish karo ki finalize ho jayein, aur iss saal ka sabse best firm ka award humare firm ko mile," Abhinav shared his hopes.
"Apne iss firm ko banane mein bohot mehnat kiya hai Abhinav, aur aapne iss firm ko apne waaris ki tarah bada kiya hai. Jo bhi hoga accha hoga. I hope the best, the best for my husband. May his all wishes get fulfilled!" Akshara encouraged him.
After their breakfast banter, they headed out, locking the door of their luxurious bungalow behind them. Abhir was dropped off at school, and Akshara and Abhinav enjoyed a leisurely drive with half an hour to spare.
"Bye!" Akshara waved as Abhinav's BMW neared the district court.
"Ek minute!" Abhinav called out, leaning in closer to Akshara's face. He planted a soft kiss on her cheek, leaving her blushing. She smiled and bid him goodbye as he drove off towards his firm, Planetary.
As they embarked on their respective journeys, they knew that no matter what challenges lay ahead, they had each other's unwavering support and love to rely on, making every moment sweet and worth cherishing.
