Virat was listening to the latest Panjabi tracks with high volume as he really did not want to reply to the youngsters who were fussing around him since long.

Shubhi: Virat bhaiya...

Shrey: Virat yaar..

Rohit: Vi.. sun na please..

Virat was trying to shoo them all but they were showing their puppy eyes and he was melting down. Even though he knew he should not be but he was melting.

And as he was still not relenting, there comes the master stroke by the group and it's Virat's first and favourite kiddo One and Only K L Rahul.

Rahul came and sat in front of Virat with a wide smile on his face.

Virat (in mind): Oh no.. yeh log na bahut chalu hai. Rah ko mere samne lake rakh diya. 100% Ro ka idea hoga.

Virat glared at Rohit who was looking at Rahul with excited expression.

Rahul: Virat please.. only one ice cream each please 🥺

He show her puppy eyes. Virat was looking here and there and was trying real hard to not fall for the drama going on..

Rahul: Please 🥺

Virat: Okay fine but On one condition..

Rahul: Hume sari condition manzoor hai

Rohit: Abe gadhe pehle sun to leta kya condition hai

Rahul bit his tongue.

Virat: You all are allowed to go and have a cup of ice cream except Rahuliya you..

Rahul: Why so??

Virat: Because it's winter Rah and forecast is not good. Aur baki log jo ja rahe ho kal extra 5km dodna padega

Everyone's face fell hearing the conditions but then they eventually agreed to the condition as their love for ice cream was more than the conditions. But for Rahul, he was sad and he stomped his foot and went to his room. Virat sighed as he knew he has a task on his hand to manaofy his Rahuliya.

On the next day, half of the players have caught cold cough as when they were returning, it suddenly started raining and non-seasonal rain that too in winter was never a good thing. But Rahul was still upset with Virat. He was not talking with him apart from any important discussion.

It's been a week to the Ice Cream Drama but still the situation was same between HulRat. Neither of them was trying to mend the distance came between them.

Rohit: Lagta hai Rah kuchh zyada hi naraz ho gaya

Virat: Hone do Ro. I cannot allow him to have Ice cream. Uss din agar tum logo ke sath gaya hota to pakka hospital me hota do din tak. You know how fragile he is.

Rohit: That he is..

Virat: I feel responsible for him Ro. Shayad iss liye main kal ko sab ke liye thoda lenient ho bhi jau lekin Rah.. impossible

Rohit: I understand Vi. And ek din woh bhi samjega

Virat shook his head in no while chuckling.

Virat: Woh samajta hai Ro. Bas manna nahi chahta.. He Loves when I pamper him.

Rohit too chuckled hearing this.

On the next day, Virat had to go to BCCI office for meeting. Rohit was chilling in his room when Harry came there running.

Harry: B-Ro.. B-Ro..

Rohit: Kya hua?

Harry: B-Ro woh Rah.. jaldi chalo.

Rohit sensing the emergency quickly got up from the bed and went to Rahul's room. He found him in washroom vomiting and Jassi was rubbing his back.

Rohit: Kya hua? Are you okay Rah?

Rahul (in low voice): Virat.. bhaiya..

Rohit helped Jassi to bring Rahul to the bed.

Rohit: Doctor ko bulaya?

Yuzi: Haan bas aa hi rahe hai

Rahul: Virat bhaiya chahiye B-Ro..

Rohit: Haan Rah.. abhi call karta hoon usko okay. Calm down.

Rohit tried Virat's number but it was switched off. The doctor came and was checking Rahul whose eyes were only searching for one person. Rohit noticed it. He again called Virat but it's phone was still switched off.

Rohit (in mind): Damn it Vi.. switch on your phone you idiot. None can handle your this kiddo. Come soon.

Doctor: Ghabrane ki baat nahi hai. Main injection de deta hoon he will be fine.

Rahul hearing injection started getting panicked.

Rahul: No.. no.. please no injection please B-Ro please

Rohit: Rah.. kiddo Aram milega usse. Look at yourself. You are drained completely.

Jinks: Doctor he gets scared of injection. Last time jab aisa hua tha to bina injection hi treatment ki thi na aapne

Doctor: Tab Virat..

Doctor said this much when Rahul again felt pukish and ran to washroom. Rohit got call from Virat. He came outside and picked it up.

Rohit: Thank God Vi you called.

Virat: Kya hua Ro? Message aya ki tumne itne sare calls kiye hai

Rohit: Vi Rah is not well. Vomit pe vomit ho rahi hai usko. Doctor injection ka bol rahe hai lekin Rah man nahi raha

Virat: Usko dar lagta hai. Tum ek kam karo, thoda time pass Karo I am coming there in 15-20 minutes

Rohit: Okay lekin please jaldi Vi.. Rah is just looking for you.

Virat: I know. Coming Ro.

They disconnected the call. Rohit went inside and found Rahul completely drained this time that he was faltering on his own steps. Jassi and Harry were holding him.

Rohit: Vi is coming Rah okay. So just calm down. Tension mat Lena

Rahul: I don't want injection please

Rohit: Rah.. betho chalo

Rohit said it not wanting to agree with the kid's demand as he knew the injection would be needed. The Kid was looking miserable.

It's been 15 minutes but there is no sign of Virat. Rahul again felt weird and pukish and he once again ran into washroom. Harry and Jassi went after him.

Doctor: Rohit.. we can't wait more. I have to inject him warna aise hi chalta raha to behosh ho jayega yeh

All got scared hearing this. Virat reached there and heard Rahul's voice from washroom. He was about to go there but Harry and Jassi brought him back in the room.

As soon as Rahul saw him, he threw himself over him. Virat held him protectively. He took him to bed and made him lie down on the bed. He sat beside him while caressing his hair. He took Rahul in a side hug to which he snuggled more.

Virat: I am here only Rah

Rahul: No injection bhaiya please

Virat: Of course Rah.. no injection..

Though Virat had said this, he signed doctor to do his job who nodded in yes. The doctor prepared an injection. Virat held Rahul tightly and protectively. The doctor gave him an injection to which Rahul hissed in pain.

Virat: Kuchh nahi hai.. bas ho gaya.. ho gaya

Rahul slept in few minutes while Virat continued caressing his hair. The doctor and the team mates left.

After an hour or so Rahul woke up. He found Virat beside him smiling widely at him. Rahul made a face.

Rahul: I hate you Virat. Tumne phir se injection dilwaya

Virat: Aww.. But I love you Rahuliya

Rahul made a face and looked at other side. Soon enough a thing was kept in front of him and his eyes twinkled. He got up and sat on the bed.

Rahul: Ice Cream..

Virat: Haan lekin uske liye mujhe maaf karna padega

Rahul made a face and looked at other side.

Virat: Okay.. phir yeh sari Ice Cream main Ro ko de deta hoon. Main to mere Rahuliya ke liye laya tha but I guess mujhe yeh Ro ko..

He said this much when Rahul almost snatched the Ice Cream tub. Virat chuckled at his antics and ruffled his hair.

Virat gently took the tub back and kept it properly on the portable table. He himself made Rahul have a spoonful of it

Rahul was surprised.

Rahul: Aaj itni maherbani kyu? Uss din to mujhe Ice Cream khane nahi Jane Diya

Virat: Rah.. you know you are low in immunity as of now. And I don't want you to call sick and get dropped from the team again. It's as simple as that. And abhi iss liye khila Raha hoon kyuki tumhe Ice Cream jab vomiting hoti hai tab suit karta hai. Understood you idiot??

Rahul smiled and nodded in yes vigorously. Virat chuckled and ruffled his hair again.

Virat: Now cut this Ice Cream Drama and have some rest okay.

But his Rahuliya was already busy in eating the Ice Cream tub. Virat shook his head at his antics.

Virat (fondly in mind): Pagal..

Virat chuckled and then started feeding Ice Cream to Rahul with his own hands totally knowing the fact that in few days, his teammates will again find a way to ask him for allowing them to go to Ice Cream parlour to have Ice creams.
