'Can we meet for a cup of coffee?'

Did I hear that right?

Placing my book calmly on my lap; this was a damn facade; internally I was rejoicing the fact that Dianxia was sitting in front of me.

"What?"

"Please don't get annoyed Dr. Hua-" he was frantic now, "My friend placed a bet. If I am successful in luring you for a coffee date, then I wouldn't have to attend his sister's wedding."

Lure me? Wasn't I the one to lure him from that Bridal Sedan all those centuries ago? This made me smile internally.

Folding my arms I asked curiously, "Why don't you want to attend his sister's wedding?"

"Cause then I have to get a date and-"

"You don't have a girlfriend?" Subtle Hua. Very subtle.

"Um...no..."

Is he blushing?

"Boyfriend?"

At my question he was absolutely beet red.

"Er...no... Look I-"

"Done." Just then the bell rang and I got up for my next class when he called out from behind, "Wait! What?"

Without turning back to face him I stated, "Six by the entrance of Green Water Arcade. Be on time." Had I continued to sit there, my heart wouldn't have wanted me to leave. For now he cannot know who I am.

Traversing through the passage I met a wide eye smirking He Xuan, "Seems like instead of Crimson Rain Sought Flower, it's going to be Crimson Rain deflowered."

At his jest I skipped a step and glared at him while he walked away cackling like a fool.

Using our array of private communication I sent him a message, 'You need to pay me 50,000. I'll be expecting you to wire me the money!"

At that he instantly pivoted and asked, 'Why?'

Flashing a smirk I answered, 'I'll consider it as a Ghost Supreme's Blessing.'

With that I entered my class and shut the communication array. Serves him right.

Was I nervous?

Snorting at my own thoughts I straightened my jacket and glanced at the image reflecting on the mirror. When have I not been nervous when it comes to Dianxia?

An old conversation flashed in front of me ~

'San Lang.'

'Dianxia?'

Caressing my cheeks he kissed me, 'Have I ever told you how handsome you are?'

Kissing him on his lips I pulled Dianxia on my lap and whispered, 'There is no one as and more handsome than my husband.'

Blushing he pulled me for a sweet kiss and murmured against my lips, 'I'll make sure to compliment you everyday, night and passing seconds of my life.' ~

He kept up his promise. Until the very end Dianxia kept saying those words; until there was none to say anymore.

Do I still look handsome Dianxia?

The only answer that came back was no.

With a sigh I left my home and walked towards my car. Even though he does not remember me; I need to be there to treat him best.

To my surprise Dianxia was already there and waiting for me. He was resting against his bike. Hair untied which appeared like mane of a lion. His leather pant clinged against his leg, he had a white undershirt and a leather jacket. He was nothing like how my Dianxia dressed back then.

Comparing the two of us, I was dressed more in a light sweater and trouser which made me look nothing young.

As I approached him, I could feel his gaze raking through my body and appreciative smile graced his face.

"You look nothing like Dr. Hua from this morning!"

"Oh! How do I look?"

Ugly?

Handing me an extra helmet he answered, "Hop on!"

"Where are we going?"

"Somewhere to drink genuine coffee."

As he started his bike I groaned inwardly. In all these years I could never get accustomed to riding a bike.

"My car is parked there. We can-"

"Do you trust me?"

At this question I inhaled sharply. With my life my Dianxia.

"Yes."

"Then hop on."

There was no second thought. He helped me with my helmet and just as I sat astride; I almost missed him saying, "You look handsome."

His words struck my core. My Dianxia's words.

As he drove I tried not touching him. It's not appropriate. Keeping my hand on my thigh, I let the breeze calm me down. I didn't know where he was taking me; but it was true that I trusted him. He kept driving and the scenery around us kept changing. By looks of it I knew we were far away from city.

Finally he stopped in front of a countryside stall that faced acres of land. It reminded me of Dianxia's Puqi Shrine.

Moving away from the bike I removed my helmet and saw him doing the same. He yet again raked his lithe fingers against his hair and I had to take a step back.

Graceful.

Pointing towards the stall Dianxia smiled, "Aunty prepares the best coffee. Wait here."

I did.

I kept watching his every moves. His smile, the crinkle next to his eyes and small nose. His appearance looked the same but still they seemed so different.

"Here."

Handing me a cup he took a sip of his own and moaned. When he realised the sound made was inappropriate, Dianxia instantly blushed and I had to hide my grin.

Taking a sip I closed my eyes. This indeed is the best coffee.

"Nice right?"

"Hm."

"How's this place?"

"Good."

"Have you ever been here?"

"No."

He was quiet for a moment but then called out, "Hua."

Gasp.

Raising my eyes I met his and time stopped.

"That's what I thought. Hua." He rolled my name against his mouth and smiled wide, "I love your name."

It's the name you gave me.

"Can you hold this?" Giving me his cup, Dianxia removed his jacket and placed it on handle bar of the bike. The moment he turned, my gaze landed on the tattoo on his arm. Same place where I have his name tattooed.

His was a silver butterfly.

"This?"

"I have always had strange fascination for butterflies especially silver. As a child I used to always dream about them. When I grew up I got it tattooed on my body."

Did you grow up well?

"Oh yes! My parents are doctors. They were shocked at first that my interest laid more towards art, history and music than medicine."

I didn't realise my thoughts were spoken out loud.

"Were they who named you Xie Lian?"

Taking a sip he shook his head, "Nope. My actual name is Gabriel Li. Back when I was around fifteen my grandpa took me to the museum of History and Heritage. He worked there as a manager. It was summer vacation and I had ample of time in my hand. Wandering around all alone I found a remote corner where there was an entire section dedicated to ancient scripts. It was there I found a book on His Highness Crown Prince of Xianle, Xie Lian. His life was accounted and so was his love for Ghost King Supreme named Hua Cheng."

All I could was smile.

"You're name is similar to his. What are the odds that two people with such similar names would meet in real life?"

You have no idea Dianxia.

"I fell in love with His Highnesses love for his beloved. Though not much is accounted about them; I do remember seeing their painting but that too was almost faded. I tried searching relevant information on him but to no avail."

"If you want to know more about Dianxia, I could share my personal files with you."

"Really?" He sounded exuberant.

"Yes."

"Now that would be awesome. Thank you Hua."

There it was again. Him calling me Hua.

"You're welcome, Kid."

"Why do you keep calling me kid?"

Handing him back his cup I shrugged, "Can't call you Xie Lian."

"Then give me a name!"

I have always revered you as my Dianxia. What other name could I refer you as?

Not waiting for my answer he suggested, "You just called His Highnesses as Dianxia. So why don't you call me the same? I love the way honoured him with such respect."

"You want me to call you Dianxia?"

"Yes!"

"Then first call me by my name."

Taking a deep breath he whispered, "Hua."

Like a man receiving water for his parched soul, seeking the man's eyes infront of me; I finally called him, "Dianxia."
