Hazels p.o.v
We have been flying for a day now. The gang have been assuring me that the fog(and the dark clouds) are not going to last forever.

I rested my hands on Luminas saddle. I started to look around, but there was only thick,grey fog. Then my keen eye sight cought a human figure.
"No, it cant be."i rubbed my eyes. When i looked again the figure was not there anymore. Must be an illusion or because i am a bit tired.

"Does anyone remember how long we flyed few years ago?" Snotlout spoke up, sounding tired and impatient.
"Uhm.....YES! I mean, No! Wait what was the question again?" Tuffnut exclaimed then rubbed his head in confusion.
"I am sure that we're almost there." Hiccups determination surprised me.

"You have been saying that for hours Hiccup." Astrid pointed out.
"You guys! We need to find land soon. Our dragons dont look very good." Fishlegs looked at Meatlug.

"Agreed."
"I want to sleep."
"Can we just land?!"
"Dont be ridiculous we need an island or at least earth to land!"
"Stop complaining!"

I heard them reply. This is confusing me.
"All of you stop talking!" I heard myself growl loudly.
The gang looks were on me.
I sheepishly smile "Sorry. Your friends were talking too much."

"It's weard when you do that." Ruffnut said.

"I hope the Death Song will not trap us like last time." Snotlout crossed his arms.
"Death Song?" I furrowed my eyebrows.
"It is a mystery class dragon. It is very beautiful - looking dragon, but very deadly. With its song he can lure dragons in its trap dragons with his amber - like substance that forms in to cocoon that -" Fishlegs started to explain

"-its a dragon that sings and when dragons find the Death Song there dead." Tuffnut interrupted.

"Thank you Tuff for an easy explanation." I laughed.
For a moment there was again, the dead silence where i only heard the dragons mutter silently.

Something grumbled and it started to rain.
"Great. Just what we needed." Hiccup whispered.
"We have to keep moving! This cant last much longer." Eret spoke up.
"Way to lift up the spirits Eret." I say with sarcasm in my voice.

A bit further away all of us saw lighter clouds.
"Everyone! Fly through the light!" Hiccup ordered.

I close my eyes when Lumina was about to fly in the bright clouds.
"Open your eyes Hazel. The view is amazing." She marveled.

My eyes opened and i never felt happyer that we finally got out of the grey fog and clouds.

"We did it! We did it! What did i told you all!" Snotlout pumped fists in the air.
"Finally! Now where was our island? It is still somewhere here, right guys?" Tuffnut looked at us.

"Dont ask me. I'm new to this place." I nod.
"Good question Tuffnut, but first we need to find an island where we can spend the night." Hiccup replied.
"Of course not that island." Fishlegs pointed at one island.

"Why not?" I asked him.
"Because the Death Song might have been escaped and threatens other dragons." He had a terrified expression of that though.
"Then we need to find an island where we can spend the night, before sunset."

Everyone agreed what Astrid said.
"Lets go find ourselves an island!" Tuffnut shouted in excitement.

"This is the fourth place we have been you guys." I point out with exausted look in my eyes.
"I'm sure The Edge needs to be around here somewhere." Hiccup pats Toothless side and he increases speed.

"Toothless." I never spoke directly at him or any other dragon except Lumina, so it was weird mimicing Night Furys noise and growls.
He turned his head and looked at me.

"Finally, dragon-whisperer. About time we talked." His answer suprised me.
Hiccup give me and Toothless a look.
"You dont mind if we have a little conversation, right?"

Lumina flew a bit closer.
"No. It is just intriguing." He shrugged

"Is she gonna talk in dragons language again?" Ruffnut spoke up.
"Yes." I shortly reply and roll my eyes.

Lumina kept quiet, but i knew she will listen.

"What is so important if the o'mighty Hazel started talking to me?" He mocked.
"Oh stop with the titles o' mighty alpha, i just wanted to know if you think we are going the right way. I know dragons have good memory."

"we have, but that doesnt mean we remember little details that was like three years ago."

I start to think deeply.

"Hazel. Dont overthink. They know more about this place then us." Lumina snaps me out of my thoughts
"I guess you're right." I mutter.
"Heard that."

I sigh and lay down on her. Then i start hearing voices. Small, perky and definetly dragon. Immediately i shoot up in my seat and start to look around.
"Hazel, you are beginning to creep me out." Snotloud points out.
"Stop talking. I'm trying to listen." I order firmly

All dragons started to move there heads, seeking the voice body.

Finally i heard a clear sentence

"There here!"
The dragons stopped and hovered while a huge, black dragon flied right towards us.
"Uhm........anything familiar?" I turn to look at the gang with a bit pleading look.
"M-maybe." Fishlegs stutters.

"Changewing!"
"Everyone in self defense!"

The dragon roars and Lumina hisses.
"She will not hurt you." I say to those dragons.
"Smitfarg!" Tuffnut exclaims.
Suprisingly he was the one who reconise them in far distance.

"It is really them!" Astrid exclaims in wonder.
"Are you all saying that is not one wholy dragon?" Eret asks.
"I think that is exacly what they are saying." I grin.
"How can we trust her?"
"Should we attack her?"
"How can we be sure?"

The small voices were the first thing i knew that it is not a one big dragon. That and my keen eye sight cought every individual.
"If our friends trust her, then we should too." There leader finally declared.
"Oh it is good to see you guys." Hiccup smiles once the Night Terrors (as Fishlegs told me) were right in front of us.

They all chirped in excitement.

"Can they show us the way to The Edge? I am starting to get very hungry." Snotlout complained.
"Of course we will." There leader, without questions, agreed.
They turned around and started to fly forward.
"Does that answer your question, Snotlout." Astrid gestured at the Night Terrors.
"Yea." He muttered.

The Edge looked a bit old, but in every mechanism worked very well.

"This is where you lived? It is....awesome!" I observed every part of this place. It had everything what was needed and so much more!
"Great! Now lets get something to eat." Snotlout went somewhere.
"Yeah i'm pretty hungry too." Fishlegs agreed.

"The haunt for food has begun!" Tuffnut extended his arm in the sky and jumped on Belch.
"Yeah!" Ruffnut exclaimed and they both took off.
"You guys! The food is in saddle bags!" Hiccup yells, but it was too late.

"How exacly they can forget about it? I mean...they even packed themselves." Eret mutters and opens his saddle.
"There the twins." Astrid shrugs and Stormfly nudges her a little. She smiles and strokes her neck.

"Can i get these things off me? They will make noise while i hunt." Lumina looks at them in irritation.
"Don't worry. I will get them off." I assure her and unclip them from the saddle. I put them carefully on the ground.

"Ah that feels good." She happily jumped a bit.
I laughed. She occasionally can be funny.
"Alright Lumina, go and don't eat too much." I remind her with raised eyebrow.

"I won't" she climbs up to the roof and dissapears.
I get out, from the bags, cooked fish and bottled up yak milk.

My stomach grumbles.

"Hey. Maybe we could build a campfire and tell stories." Eret offers with a grin.
"Then all we need is wood and a place." Hiccup though out loud.
"But not scary stories." Fishlegs firmly speaks.
"C'mon Fishlegs, that would mean no fun." Astrid put her hands on her hips.
"You know they can scare me! And Meatlug too!" Fishlegs shivered.

"You can leave the campsite if it gets too scary for you." Hiccup offers and Fishlegs looks down.
"Fine." I hear him whisper.

"I know a great place." I hear Skullcrusher. He looks at me and i do the same.
"Uhm......,"i swallow,"we could follow Skullcrusher, because he knows a good place." I say a bit unsure about my words.
Eret looks at Skullcrusher, he furrows eyebrows
"Then lead the way friend." He smiled and mounts on him.

Toothless nudges Hiccup. He smiles and scratches behind his ear, while Astrid and Stormfly are having there own bonding moment.
Astrid throws chicken in the air and Stormfly successfully catches every chicken piece.(wow that sounded weird)

She even squawks happily.

Meatlug sits next to Fishlegs while he writtes something in his notebook.

The view made me smile.

☁☁☀☀☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆

The sun has already set. Eret and Skullcrusher just returned with good news.
Also the Night Terrors will help us set the campfire.
"This place is perfect. Now all we need is wood. Fishlegs and Eret, set up the place for the campfire, Snotlout, Astrid, Hazel, you three you in the forest with Night Terrors and get wood.Ruff, Tuff, we will need few buckets of water." Hiccups orders.

"On it Chef." Tuffnut saluted and they both took off on there dragon.

"And what will you do?" Astrid asked.
Hiccup grinned "I have to go and get some supplies from The Edge, m'lady. I will see you all back here." He kissed Astrid cheek, mounted on Toothless and flew away.

"Why we need to get the wood?" Snotlout kicked a rock that almost hit a Night Terror. Smidfarg roared at him.
"Just do it." That's what he said.

"No time to waste, lets go." I jogged in the forest.
"I will search too." Lumina took off.
"Be careful." I remind her.
"You be careful."

"Agreed." Astrid catched up to me.

The deeper we got in the forest, the more we found good sticks, branches....well good fire material in general.
"I think this will be enough." Astrid picks up another thick branch.
"Yea." I smile. Then all three of us see a black, human figure go a bit further away from is.

Snotlout drops his pile, which makes a big 'bam' sound. Astrid reaches for her axe and i touch my leather hilt.
Stormfly and Hookfang sence that they should be quiet.

The figure seems not to notice us at all. I start to carefully move forward in his or her direction. Astrid looks at me, giving a look that obviously told me to be careful.

I nod slowly.

Snotlout got out his sword and with a battle cry charged the figure.
Stupid boy.

The figure sees him, but doesnt run until Snotlout basically runs in a tree just becouse the human did a clever move
"Oh for thors sake." Astrid mutters and we both start to run.

The human looked like a male, because of his body form.

He started to run away.

"No he is not." I though and sprint after him. Astrid was already a bit too far away,but i will not let him get away.

I didnt realize that an unusual fog started to form.

I reach for his hood and that made us both stop. I grabbed it the hood which relieved his face.

He had short, black, thick hair and somehow i saw his bright grey eyes.
We both stare at each other for a moment. His eyebrows rise them he widens his eyes.

"It's you." He said in awe.
"What?" I furrow my eyebrows in confusion. He uses that moment to get out of my grasp and runs away.

The fog completely took him and he just dissapeared.

"What just happened?" I take few steps back and blink.

"Hazel!" I hear Astrid yell.
"I'm here!" I shout back once i snap out of my confusion.
"Did you catched him...or her?" She asked with her axe in hand.

"Yes and no." I scratch my head a bit.
"You let that thing get away?!" Snotlout exclaimed.
I folded my arms up to my chest
"I know this might sound like i'm crazy-"i started

"-you speak with dragons, isnt that crazy enough." Snotlout mutters

"- but the..man dissapeared in a fog, after he......well...escaped my grip."

Astrid shakes her head a little
"I think we should tell the others about this. Right now lets get the wood and get out of here, before something else happens."

I slowly nod.
"That is a good idea." I turn my look in direction where i last saw him.
What he said still echoed in my mind
"It's you."

What is that suppose mean? Why every new person i meet act so strange when they see me?

"Hazel! Are you gonna stand there or move?" Astrid exclaims

"C-coming!" I stutter my reply and run, before i get lost.

Hiccup hasn't returned yet and i could sense that Astrid is getting a bit anxious about it. We already told Fishlegs, Eret and the Twins of what happened.

"Not fair! Why nothing exciting happens to us!" Ruffnut whined
"Yeah! You guys get all the fun." Tuffnut pointed at us with his stick. he declared it as his own walking stick.
"Quite mysterious. I wonder how far he is. Maybe we could use Skullcrusher to track him down." Eret though, out loud.

"I dont think so. We dont have anything with his smell or that might belong to him." Fishlegs played with his fingers.
"Well that's a bummer." Snotlout got comfortable, next to the campfire.
"Oooo what we should call him?" Tuffnut wondered
"Call him?" Fishlegs furrowed his eyebrows
"Yeah. He is mysterious and he dissapeared in a fog." Tuffnut though for a bit.

"I know!,"he jumped on his feet," Smoking mystery." He revieled his name
"Smoking mystery? Really?" Astrid looked at him with disbelief.
"Hey thats a good name." Ruffnut defended her brother

"Hazel. You're doing it again."
I turn to look at Lumina. I was leaning on her side, while she was laying down.
"What exacly?" I question.
"Thinking. You always think too much." She yawns.
I smile and sratch her between her eyes and snout.

"I noticed that." Usualy i would deny, but i'm not in the mood to argue.
We all hear a familiar dragon sound.

"About time you got here." Astrid went up to him and hit his shoulder.
"Ow! Sorry to keep you guys all waiting." He looked at Astrid with a loving smile, but then it faded a bit.

"Alright, what happened?" Astrid put her one hand on her hip.
"There is something i should tell you now." He trailed off and let his fingers get through his hair.

"Well dont keep us guessing. Tell us." Snotlout exclaimed

*insert evil laugh*

Alright, alright i'm so sorry for that, but let me tell you this - lots of things will happen. ;)))))))

I really liked writing this chapter plus i hope you guys will not kill me for not updating so i made this chapter extra long.

Pwease be patient.

I know that i am not the best writter, but please bare the spelling mistakes i made, i might edit this later. Maybe.

Also - ooooooooo another mystery person.
