The forest was dark. Trees were like out of ghost stories.

I ran. I felt tired, out of breath, but i didn't stop.

I finally saw my adoptive mother. She was by the river and bend her head down to drink it. The water was red.

"No!"

But it was too late. She already had drakned the streams water.

Immedeatly all the energy from my legs disapeared and i couldn't move. I was on my knees.

I felt tears start to form, as silver beams of light appeared.

Mum started to choke and her body went limp.

My voice was gone. I couldn't scream or hear myself sob, but i felt pain in my chest. A void was felt.

"You could have saved her." Luminas voice was heard loud and clear.

In tunnels deep inside a mountan

"Out of my way! Move it! Oh sorry man....." Black haired boy ran and pushed few people out of his way.

"Rayela! Ray! Ella!" He exclaimed with a smothering smokebreath following him.

A fairly tall girl, who seemed now to be a woman, turned around as her long, straight dark brown hair perfecly followed her movement

"Ash you have to stop bringing urgent news like that." Her brown eyes were filled with seriousness, yet amusement judging by her small smile

"Sure whatever, but you will never guess what i saw in the forest." Ash straightened up, but he was only few inches smaller then Rayela.

"Ashton Blaze what i have told you about these types of se-"

"Yeah yeah there inappropriate and annoying, jadda jadda. Anyways you wouldn't believe that i saw almost an exact replica of Tyra."

Rayela slapped his head "Respect the dead Ashton. Especally our chiefs wife."

"You know there both dea- uhh....in Valhalla."

Rayela crossed her arms, her armor making her look more dangerious with that intence stare.

"Sorry, but she looked really like her. I swear to the Thors hammer Ray."

He placed a hand on his heart. It was the symbol, in there tribe, that he was telling the truth.

Rayela sighed and closed her eyes for a moment "Ash there is no possibility that they survived. From the news that the cooks and maids gave us they were followed by fleet of ships."

"But the mention of there hier surtenly must - "

Rayela put her palm up

"Ashton please. It is impossible. Now please send your smokebreaths to help our blacksmiths."

Ash snapped his fingers four times and a flok of Smokebreaths flied deep inside a tunnel that lead straight.

"C'mon Rayela you know that people who stayed -"

The woman interrupted him, again

"I understand that you miss our homeland. We all do, but going there and trying to get rid of the chief will approve his words of us."

"I know what i saw Rayela. Let me try." Ash clenched his fists

Rayela sighed
"You are very stubborn."

"I am a viking." Ash smirked

Rayela shook her head and rubbed her forehead "Do something useful for once in your life and check if no one got lost in the tunnels again."

She dismissed him.

"You know after years of living here we should atleast put sighs." Ash walked backwards

"That is in process an-"

Rayela was about to warn him, but Ash tripped over a rock and fell on his butt making her chuckle

"Don't. Say. A. Word." Ash glared as he got up.

"Whatever you say." She winked and went in the direction Smokebreaths flew away minutes ago.

"You know we can prove her wrong."
A Smothering Smokebreath landed on his shoulder

"I know Smoke. That's what i intend to do." He replied

"INTRUDERS IN THE NORTH!!"

The loud exclaim was followed by an explosion although the entrance to a tunnel was kilometres far.

"How in the name of Odin...." Ash put his hoodie on and ran as so the other riders, followed by different species of dragons.

All stopped, with wepons ready and mounted on there dragons.

Well......who could anyway.

Those who couldn't ran in the opposite direction to warn others, get eggs the heck out of here and make sure children are safe.

A dark blue Rumblehorn appeared at the entrance with his rider on.
"Surrender now riders or i will decide your fate." The rider had large body structure, yet he wasn't big as other chiefs. His voice immedeatly told he was from royal lines, because of the tune of authority. Although they didn't see his face due to the hood.

"Real original for hiding his identity." Smoke sarcastically commented

"Threatening a enemy who can fight back is not wise or smart."

A Snaptrapper male rider spoke

"Trust me. The riders who faught back are no longer breathing." The man announced coldly

Few eyes went wide. Just kidding all eyes had a glint of shock.
Those who were close to the...............passed riders had tears in there eyes. Or angered looks

But no one dared to attack, no matter how it was tempting to get revenge. It was an unspoken rule.

Ash untied a circle, small, metal shaped device. He looked at few older riders that were doing the same.

"No matter who you are, our spirits shall never be broken by a fool."
A female, propably in mid fifties, spoke bravely as her Nadder shifted in her battle stance

"The time is now!" Few dragons exclaimed and riders threw the circle objects that released smokebreath.....well....smoke and released flightmare jel moments after.

All riders had flew like there lives depend on it. Which was true due to the fact a deranged man had killed there friends, maybe even family members.

They didn't have much time.

"Gather all Smokebreaths in the east side Smoke. Make sure they have all the wepons they can carry." Ash ordered his friend

"Buddy we will take it, as long it is shiny." Smoke playfully replied and flew away

Meanwhile Ash ran to check if someone got left behind with few other riders who were assigned this responsibility.

Although there was no time to check all those tunnels.

"Everyone at east side, now!" Rayela flew above there heads with dark blue Stormcutter.

And yes the tunnels are that huge.

"Show off." Ash rolled his eyes and sprinted

Few twists and turns later they finally saw a glimpse of light.

No one hesitated to fly off, since all of them knew where they can meet.
They have been prepared for any kind of attack over the years.

Tall forest trees came to the view.

"Get on!" Rayela shouted at Ash, when Stormcutter landed next to him.

Ash whistled a tune before mounting right behind Rayela.

Immedeatly they took off with cloud of smoke behind them.

This ain't over yet!

Finally Summer! Unfortunately i will not have a *says in an accent* proper break.

Due to the fact i have a busy life in general =)

But i am trying to find a way to make these updates faster....

Propably i will have to edit this chapter some other day because i am the Empress of misspell.....;)
