On the shores of Berk, a young boy at the age of sixteen is seen unconscious as he lies on the sand. His breaths were ragged and uneven, showing that he was injured or just extremely tired, even when unconscious.

Footsteps were heard, signaling someone was approaching the boy. His eyes open, revealing his tired (E/C) irises as he looks up at the one approaching.

Three Years Later...

"Welcome to Berk, a place where the food isn't terrible and the people are... just as not terrible."

In a small cabin, a young adult at the age of eighteen (almost nineteen) is seen sleeping on his bed. He slowly wakes up and sits up as he yawns. He has long and messy (H/C) hair with (S/C) skin and (E/C) eyes. This is you, Y/n L/n.

You hop out of bed as you begin your morning routine.

"It snows here nine months out of twelve, and hails the other three."

You change into your clothing which consisted of a light grey shirt under a black fur coat without sleeves. You also wear black pants with a belt and boots. A knife was hanging from your belt as you tied your long hair into a manbun and washed your face with some water.

"Berk isn't too bad. Like I said before, the people aren't terrible. Kinda nice, actually. And the weather reminds me of my former home. However, there is one downside to everything here."

You walk towards the front door of your cabin and pull it open. However, you scowl when you see what's in the sky. Large and mighty, flying and fire-breathing...

Y/n: "Dragons..."

You keep your scowl on face as you step out of the cab you've used for the last two years and slam the door shut. You begin making your way down the path that joins with the larger path that connects to the rest of the houses in the village.

Once you step on the connected path, you walked to the left. You passed multiple citizens of Berk who greet you like an old friend, which you really weren't. You just helped around with a lot of people every-so-often. Also, you were the apprentice of the village elder and medical person, so you were pretty well known around the village.

Actually, you were making your way to Gothi now. It was nice, but due to your past job, you were kinda restless a bit of the time. Just sitting around and waiting wasn't really your thing, but making people happy was, and helping/healing the residents of Berk definitely did that.

As you made your way to Gothi's, you passed by a small but bulky man your age who sat himself down in a catapult with a Monstrous Nightmare Dragon nearby. The boy waved to you with a smile.

Catapult Boy: "Hey, Y/n! Going to Gothi's?"

Y/n: "Hey, Snotlout. And yeah, so I'll be awaiting for your visit."

Snotlout: "Hey! How come you always assume I get hurt everyday?"

Y/n: "Because you do."

You say and walk off, shooting a quick glare at Hookfang which went unnoticed. After walking a bit more, two eighteen year olds run by you as they push forward a cart full of sharp weaponry. They were Tuffnut and Ruffnut, and you honestly couldn't remember who was who. However, you wanted to see what they were doing and stopped to watch. The twins soon skirted to a stop as they grinned, looking at a frightened Snotlout who was crying out for his Dragon. The Monstrous Nightmare catches his rider in his claws at the last second and flies off, making Snotlout yell at his Dragon as the twins groan. Then you looked up even further to see something black quickly fly overhead with blazing speed. You knew who it was even though you couldn't see who it was. Hell, everyone on Berk knew as well. It was the most pro-Dragon guy you've ever met and his pet Night Fury, Hiccup Horrendous Haddock III and Toothless.

Clicking your teeth, you begin to make your way to Gothi once more.

Timeskip...

It was now midday and you were with Gothi. She was watching as you properly gave a woman treatment for a rash on her... butt. But you didn't really care. A job is a job, isn't it?

Once you were finished, you sent the viking woman back down and turned to Gothi. She wrote something in the sand and read it, and then you smiled at her praise.

Y/n: "Thank you, Gothi."

Gothi nodded and smiled back at you before you called for another patient. Gothi would take this one as you get some more medicine ready. However, a familiar voice yelled out...

"Gothi! Y/n!"

You stepped out of the small hut as Gothi raised a brow at the approaching figure running up the tall set of stairs. The man was big and hulking, with blonde hair and a braided mustache, along with a pegleg and a hook for a hand. You knew him as Gobber, Berk's blacksmith and Chief Stoick's right-hand man. He's also one of the few people who can translate for Gothi. The others being you and a bookworm named Fishlegs.

Gobber: "Gothi! Y/n! We need your help! Quick!"

The large viking finally makes his way to the top, nearly pushing the patient Gothi was tending to off the edge as I step next to Gothi.

Y/n: "What's wrong, Gobber?"

Gobber: "Okay, just.... let me catch my breath."

The viking gasps for air with his hand and hook on his knees. It was obvious he was out of shape, even though he was supposed to be one of the mightiest warriors on Berk. But you and Gothi waited patiently for him to catch his breath which soon happened.

Gobber: "It's Johann. He's hurt and talking something about Dagur the Deranged escaping Outcast Island!"

Both you and Gothi were shocked.

Y/n: "What? Dagur? How?!"

Gobber: "I don't know, but Johann needs medical attention now! We won't get anything out of him otherwise."

You nodded before turning to Gothi.

Y/n: "Mind if I take this one? I think I can handle some washed up trader."

Gothi scribbled something into the sand and both Y/n and Gobber read it.

Gobber: "You can go with Booger to help Johann"? What does that mean?"

Gothi swings her walking stick at Gobber and he immediately realizes his mistake.

Gobber: "Gobber! You can go with Gobber! My bad."

You smile just a bit before walking back into Gothi's hut and grabbing some medicine and putting it in your satchel. You then walked out and looked at Gobber.

Y/n: "Alright. Bring me to Johann."

After that, you had been brought to the mess hall by Gobber where you found a still unconscious Johann. You were easily able to wake him back up and heal him thanks to Gothi's teachings. When he was all better, he asked me to take him to Hiccup who I knew would probably be planning their attack against Dagur the Deranged right now. Now, "Where?" do you ask? Well...

Dragon Academy...

You were walking with Johann to the Dragon Academy after healing him up. He extremely grateful and told you that he'd "remember this". You told him that if was nothing and led him to the former Dragon-killing battle arena to see Hiccup and his gang. Once the two of you grew near, you could hear a bit of the Dragon Rider's conversation and planning.

Snotlout: "Oh, so what you're saying is Dagur could be anywhere by now."

Hiccup: "Well, technically... yes."

Snotlout: "Oh, great. Great, great, great. So that just leaves... I don't know, let me think about this... the entire ocean to search! No, thank you!"

The beefy young adult crosses his arms, making the future chief of Berk groan. That's when you and Johann made your appearance.

Y/n: "Hey, Riders."

Hiccup turned and smiled when he saw you and Johann.

Hiccup: "Johann!"

Johann: "Master Hiccup."

You and Johann walk up to Stoick's son.

Hiccup: "It's great to see you awake again."

Johann: "And feeling much better, thanks to Y/n, here. More importantly, I have more than a strong suspicion of where our nefarious foe may be heading."

The trader turns to the map behind Hiccup and motions towards the edges of it.

Hiccup: "Outside the Archipelago?"

Johann: "No! Just inside the fog bank on our outer group of islands."

Y/n: "Don't think Hiccup and his friends have ever been out that far, Johann."

Hiccup: "You're right. We haven't."

Johann continued.

Johann: "When Dagur commandeered my precious ship, he also came into possession of a very important map. One that leads to a graveyard of ships hidden in that fog bank."

Snotlout: "Wow! That's the first place I'd go."

Johann: "If I may be allowed to finished?"

Snotlout: "Johann, last time we allowed you to finish, we ended up on Breakneck Bog."

Y/n: "And I ended up kidnapped by Dagur who later got kidnapped and we got thrown into a fighting pit. So, yeah. What Snotface said."

Snotlout: "Hey!"

Hiccup: "Enough!"

You all immediately shut your mouths and Hiccup turned back to Johann.

Hiccup: "What's so special about the graveyard and why would he go there?"

Johann: "Well, you see--"

Hiccup: "The short version, please."

Johann gave Hiccup the "Really?" look, but complies.

Johann: "It's where I store all my treasures and wares."

Tuffnut: "Wow. Concise, to the point. Who knew he had it in him?"

Johann: "Which reminds me of the first time I was labelled as "concise"! He was a young man, very ugly. I actually--"

Hiccup and Y/n: "Johann!"

Johann: "Yes?"

Y/n: "Please, stay focused."

Hiccup: "Now, is there anything else we should know about?"

Johann: "As a matter of fact, there is one ship you must avoid at all cost. It's called... . Riddled with booby traps from stem to stern. Barely made it out with my life the only time I dared venture aboard. Oh, wow!"

Y/n: *sarcastic* "Sounds like a riveting adventure."

Hiccup only chuckles at your remark and turns to his Night Fury, Toothless, which you decided to ignore.

Hiccup: "Okay, Toothless, let's go. Unless, of course, any of you can make time out of your busy schedules to capture a dangerous maniac?"

Hiccup turns to his friends who all stare at him before agreeing in unison. This makes the son of Stoick smile before he turns to you.

Hiccup: "What about you, Y/n? Care to join us? We could use a medic."

You only look at your future chief and then at his Dragon who was giving you puppy eyes. Then you turned to the Riders who were all looking at you with expectation. You could only sigh as you gave your answer.

Timeskip...

Later, high in the sky, all of the Dragon Riders can be seen on their Dragons as they fly to the edge of the Archipelago. Hiccup was at the front with you riding with him. But you had a grumpy expression on your face. Why? Because of three very important words.

Y/n: "I hate Dragons..."

Hiccup: "What was that, Y/n?"

Hiccup turned to you in confusion. You just shook your head and waved him off.

Y/n: "Nothing, nothing..."

Hiccup raised a brow at this but shook it off for now. Then he turned to look at all of his friends.

Hiccup: "This is pretty great, huh? Seems like forever since we all flew as a group. Mind if I see how rusty they are, Y/n?"

Y/n: "Like I care."

Hiccup smiles and faces forward before shooting his hands into the air.

"V Formation!"

You look behind you to see everyone fly into a V shape. Then Hiccup shaped his hands into a diamond shape.

"Diamond Formation!"

You watch as the Riders fly to form a diamond, making you smirk. You were colored impressed, even though you despised Dragons.

Tuffnut: "How rusty does this guy think we are?"

Fishlegs: "Uh... guys? A little tight on the diamond, are we?"

You look to see Fishlegs smushed in between his own Dragon, a Grunkel called Meatlug, and the twins' Dragon, a Zippleback called Barf and Belch. Both you and Hiccup chuckle in unison.

Hiccup: "Just like old times."

Snotlout: "Five thousand pounds of flaming muscle coming through!"

Snotlout riding Hookfang flies by, making you roll your eyes as Hiccup laughs again.

Hiccup: "Ever classic."

Nighttime...

You and the Riders flew across the Archipelago for hours and all the way to nighttime. Around all of you was a mist filled area with ruined ships left and right. The entire thing have you an eerie feeling, but Hiccup had other things on his mind.

Hiccup: "I knew it! I knew there was more!"

Astrid: "Some of these ships... I've never seen anything like them before."

Hiccup turns too look at all of his friends.

Hiccup: "Okay, everybody fan out! If anyone sees any signs of Dagur, sound the signal."

They all nod and everyone flies off into different directions. Then Hiccup turns to you.

Hiccup: "Y/n, I need you to be my extra sets of eyes and ears. If you see something, say something, 'kay?"

Y/n: "Yeah. Got it."

Hiccup nods and Toothless flies forward. Both you and Hiccup kept your eyes open for anything that looked like Dagur, but you couldn't see anything. Then Toothless flew by a ship that was filled with cages and everything of that sort.

Hiccup: "That's gotta be The Reaper."

Y/n: "Then we better stay away from it."

Hiccup nods in agreement and steers Toothless away. You, Hiccup, Toothless, and the rest of the Riders soon regathered after searching, only to find nothing.

Hiccup: "Not a sign of Dagur."

Astrid: "Looks like we got here first. What's the plan?"

Hiccup: "We wait."

Y/n: "What? Are you serious?"

Fishlegs: "Wait? For how long? This fog really gives Meatlug the willies."

Astrid: "He has a point. We can't wait here forever."

Hiccup: "We can't just leave Johann's treasure here either. Dagur will steal them!"

Astrid: "And use the profit to build a new armada."

Y/n: "A whole 'nother army of Berserkers? Yeah, no thanks."

Ruffnut: "Let's steal the treasure first, then!"

Tuffnut: "That is the dumbest idea I've ever heard! I hereby disown you."

Hiccup: "Actually, you know what? I actually like it!"

Tuffnut: "Welcome back to the family."

Tuffnut tells his twin sister with open arms. Ruffnut ignores him and crosses her arms with an eye roll.

Hiccup: "Here's the plan. We search the ship, gather Johann's treasure and take it back to Berk. But keep your eyes open for Dagur. He could show up anytime--"

A sudden loud hissing grabs everyone's attention as you all look around.

Astrid: "What is that?"

Y/n: "I don't know, but it doesn't sound friendly."

Tuffnut: "Has Dagur's voice changed?"

Hiccup walks over to the side of the ship and then down. In the water below, something was swimming around. A closer look revealed the creatures to be...

Hiccup: "Eels! Everybody get to your Dragons before they get spooked and take off!"

Fishlegs: "Hold me, Meatlug!"

Everyone runs to their Dragons, only for them to fly off while only Toothless stay. They all call out for their Dragons while you only click your teeth and pull out your twin daggers.

Y/n: "I knew I shouldn't have come with you guys!"

Hiccup tries to calm his Dragon down as Toothless does his best to steel himself and not fly away.

Hiccup: "Calm down, bud! It's only a couple of eels! Really big, screaming mean eels..."

Those same giant eels suddenly spring forth from the water and begin to wrap around the ship. One looks up at all of you and screeches, making Tuffnut scream in terror as the ship begins to dip.

Fishlegs: "The eels are pulling the ship down!"

Y/n: "Nah dip, Sherlock!"

Fishlegs: "What's a Sherl--OOOOCK!!"

Fishlegs begins to fall and slip down the ship along with everyone else. You just dig one of your daggers into the ship to keep yourself from falling as Snotlout grabs the ship's mast. He sees Fishlegs sliding down close to him and calls out...

Snotlout: "Fishlegs! Grab my foot!"

Fishlegs does as he was told and grabs Snotlout's leg, only for said viking to grunt and groan at his friend's weight.

Snotlout: "Oh, you ate a full breakfast!"

Everyone but you slide down and grab on to Fishlegs, making Snotlout groan even more.

Snotlout: "You ate everyone's breakfast!"

Tuffnut: "We're gonna live!"

Astrid's grip begins to loosen from her friend above her before she falls to the water with a scream.

Hiccup: "Astrid! No!"

Tuffnut: "Most of us are gonna live!"

Hiccup goes to save Astrid, only for you to let go of your dagger and plummet after said blonde.

Hiccup: "Y/n?!"

Riders: "Y/N?!"

The Dragon Riders call out your name as you plummet after Astrid and expertly spin around before landing on the ship's tilting floor. You then begin to run down the ship and catch Astrid before plunging your other dagger into the ship to stop your fall.

Astrid: "How did you--?!"

Y/n: "I'm an acrobat!"

Y/n says before digging into his pouch around his neck. He pulls out a small vial of some kind of liquid and throws it down at the eels below. It falls into the water and explodes, making the eels screech in pain before leaving the ship and swimming off.

The ship tilts back to its proper position and everyone falls back on the wooden floor. You help Astrid stand before dusting yourself off and then you take your dagger from the ship. Then you notice how everyone was looking at you.

Y/n: "What?"

Snotlout: "How in the world did you just do all that stuff?! That was amazing!"

Tuffnut: "Yeah! You were all "fwoosh", and then "whoosh"!"

Ruffnut: "And then you were like, "ta-da"!"

The twins made wild hand motions as they spoke and Ruffnut even posed. You just rubbed the back of your neck as you smiled.

Y/n: "Honestly? It was no problem. Like, at all. I'm used to doing stuff like that."

Astrid: "Seriously?"

Hiccup: "How do none of us know this?"

Y/n: "Probably because I made my own personal jungle-gym in the forest. I do practice my skills when I have nothing better to do."

Fishlegs: "And that thing that blew up when you threw it at the water... what was that?"

Y/n: "No idea. I was fiddling with stuff at Gothi's place when I spilled some water on something and it blew up. I keep some handy on me just in case."

Fishlegs: "Awesome..."

Snotlout rolls his eyes and crosses his arms.

Snotlout: "Pardon me. Does anyone else think that Johann could have warned us about... I don't know... THE GIANT SCREAMING EELS?!"

Astrid and Y/n: "Can you please be quiet? My ears are still ringing from that blast."

Astrid and you rub your ears from Snotlout's outburst which make said viking roll his eyes. Hiccup then steps forward.

Hiccup: "Alright, let's get with the plan. We find Johann's treasure. Quietly."

Hiccup looks at Snotlout who scoffs and stomps away with heavy footsteps. Everyone else listens and walks away quietly as Hiccup sighs. He then turns to look at the ship you and him looked at earlier.

Astrid: "Why are you staring at that ship?"

Y/n: "Because it's The Reaper."

Hiccup: "And I'm thinking about checking it out."

Y/n: "Which is a terrible idea."

Astrid: "The Reaper? The ship Johann specifically told us not to go on?"

Hiccup: "Exactly. A ship covered with booby traps from step to stern. I'm thinking, what is on there they don't want people to find?"

Astrid: "Well, if you go look into it, don't die at least, 'kay?"

Hiccup: "Die? Please, I got Y/n with me. He won't let me die, right Y/n?... Y/n?"

Hiccup looks for you, only for Astrid to point behind him. The future chief turns to see you expertly flipping and leaping between the wrecked ships as you makes your way to The Reaper.

Hiccup only chuckles before hopping on Toothless' back and flying off to the ship. He makes it to the ship right before you land next to him and Toothless.

Hiccup: "Beat ya."

Y/n: "Only because you got one of the fastest overgrown lizards with wings in the Archipelago."

You walk forward to inspect the ship as Hiccup gets off of Toothless and follows you.

Y/n: "I've never seen a boat like this before..."

Hiccup: "This boat is definitely not from the Archipelago. These carvings, the design on the sail... I've never seen anything like this. And this metal..."

Hiccup walks up to a cage made of green metal covered in rust. Toothless looks at it from behind his rider and then growls as Y/n looks at what to be some traps.

Hiccup: "Come on, bud. It's just an empty cage."

A bird suddenly flies out of the cage, spooking Hiccup and Toothless as they jump back. Once the bird goes away, Hiccup only smiles.

Hiccup: "Okay, now... now it's an empty cage."

You snicker as you try to pick up a bear trap, only for it to go off and almost take your hand.

Y/n: "Whoa! Deadly..."

Meanwhile...

Back on the ship the rest of the Riders are on, the twins are seen looking through one of the rooms. Tuffnut opens a chest and laughs when he sees the contents.

Tuffnut: "Jewels, jewels! You know what we're gonna do? We're bringing them back for the family. Mom will be so happy. Wait, but how are we going to carry all these back to Berk?"

Ruffnut looks at her brother before opening her mouth to reveal multiple jewels inside it.

Tuffnut: "Great idea, sis! I can't believe I didn't think about that. Here, I may do it too. I'm also gonna put jewels in your mouth."

Tuffnut begins to shove jewels into his twin's mouth, shocking her a bit.

Tuffnut: "Yeah! I gotta keep mine empty so I can talk."

After a bit of shoving, Tuffnut pauses to let Ruffnut get her bearings back.

Ruffnut: *muffled* "Keep comin'. Keep 'em coming."

Tuff does what he was told and shoves more jewels into his sister's mouth.

With Fishlegs, he was in another room and opens a chest. He smiles widely when he sees its contents.

Fishlegs: "Whoo! Oh, yeah! Oh, yeah! Fishlegs!"

He dances around the room as he looks at all the books and charts in the cabin.

Fishlegs: "Maps, old books, charts! Oh ho ho ho! There's no greater treasure than knowledge."

With Snotlout in another cabin, he was searching through any nook and cranny in hopes of finding anything valuable.

Snotlout: "I'm gonna be rich! I'm gonna be rich! Rich, rich, rich, rich, rich!"

After turning around, the viking boy spots an ornate chest and rubs his hands greedily.

Snotlout: "Hmm, well, hello, Mr. Ornate Box. What treasures do you hold?"

He laughs and opens it, only to find...

Snotlout: "Hair! Ew! Who keeps hair in a box?" *digs through chest* "There's got to be more! More hair? Ech! Man, what a rip-off."

Snotlout groans in disappointment before seeing some pictures of ancient royalty. He sees their hair and looks back at the hair in his hands, making him smirk. He then gives himself a hairstyles similar to Stoick.

Snotlout: *imitating Stoick* "I'm Stoick the Vast! Hiccup, you're such a disappointment! Why can't you be more like Snotlout?"

Then he gives him a hairstyle similar to the twins.

Snotlout: *imitating Ruffnut* "Eh, I'm Ruffnut..." *imitating Tuffnut* "...or am I Tuffnut? Who can tell?"

He laughs to himself again before giving himself another new hairstyle.

Snotlout: "I'm...! Oh. Actually, this is kind of nice."

The Reaper...

Back at The Reaper, you, Hiccup, and Toothless all stand together in front of the door to the insides of the ship. However, Toothless seemed unsure.

Hiccup: "Come on, bud. Don't you want to see what's down below?"

Toothless shakes his head.

Hiccup: "All right, fine. Guess it's just me and Y/n."

The future chief of Berk lifts open the door, only for a hook to catch his prosthetic foot and drag him across the ship. He would've been dragged into the ocean if it wasn't for Toothless using a plasma blast to burn the rope.

Hiccup: "Okay. Nobody goes to this much trouble unless there's something on this boat that they don't want found."

Y/n: "All the more reason to see what's inside."

Hiccup nods and activates his shield as you open the door once more and hop down into the darkness. Hiccup and Toothless follow you down inside and look around. You were already making your way towards the captain's cabin and the Rider and his Dragon followed.

Hiccup: "Watch your step, guys."

As if on cue, a giant bear trap similar to the one you were looking at earlier activates and traps Hiccup's leg. Thankfully, it was his metal one.

Y/n: "You okay?"

Hiccup: "Yeah. One of the benefits of a metal leg, I suppose."

The scrawny viking leans down and pulls the bear trap open. He pulls his metal leg away and the bear trap clamps down on nothing. He and Toothless then followed you further inside the ship.

Hiccup: "Okay, now let's just take this nice and..."

Hiccup stops when he sees his Dragon looking at the cells in the ship. You stop as well and watch as Hiccup walks up to the cell and sees the remains of a long dead Dragon inside.

Hiccup: "Dragon bones. I'm sorry you had to see this, bud."

Hiccup holds Toothless close to him as Y/n only narrows his eyes at the Dragon bones in all of the cells.

Y/n: 'They got what they deserved..."

Hiccup: *looks around* "Whoever commanded this ship was certainly no friend of dragons. Let's get out of here."

Hiccup steps forward, only for a wood plank to sink down with a click.

Y/n: "Oh, come on!"

Hiccup: "All right, come on! Let's go!"

The three of you begin to run through the firing swarm of arrows shooting from the walls. Hiccup used his shield to block the arrows and Toothless protected him as well, all the while you were expertly flipping and dodging through the arrows.

When Hiccup and Toothless made it to the other end, they were amazed when you land next to them without a single graze on your body. Not even a tear in your clothing.

Hiccup: "Whoa."

Y/n: "Can your lizard do that?"

Hiccup rolls his eyes at your question and stands to his feet. The three of you then walk towards a door that was the...

Hiccup: "Commander's quarters. Stay close, guys." *walks up to door to see it's locked* "Okay, so here's the plan."

Toothless wastes no time as he fires a plasma blast at the door and destroys it.

Hiccup: "... I like your plan better."

Toothless lets out a laugh, making you roll your eyes as you and the Dragon follow Hiccup inside the cabin. In the room, there was a desk with the skeleton of a man behind it. In its hand was something cylindrical.

Hiccup: "What is that?"

Y/n: "No idea."

Hiccup narrows his eyes at the skeleton before walking up to it.

Hiccup: "Whatever it is, if it's on this ship, it's no good for dragons. Which means we're not leaving it here for Dagur."

Hiccup grabs the skeleton's hand and rips it open. He grabs the cylinder from the bones... and nothing happens.

Y/n: "Huh. Thought this place would have more booby traps."

Hiccup: "Hmm... Huh. Well, that wasn't too--"

An axe slams down on the desk, making the three of you cry out in shock.

Y/n and Hiccup: "GIANT AXE!"

You all run out of the cabin to see that the arrows were still firing from the walls. You all just run through it, however, as Hiccup uses his shield to defend the both of you and even Toothless helps. You hated getting help from a Dragon, but this was no time to argue and yell.

The three of you eventually make it back topside, only to stop when you see...

Y/n: Dagur?!"

Dagur smiles at the three of you.

Dagur: "Hiccup! Did you miss me? 'Cause I sure missed you. Every day for three years, I thought about you."

He moved to the side to show the rest of the Dragon Riders were trapped inside the cage Hiccup was looking at earlier with Toothless.

Hiccup: "Astrid!"

You and Toothless growl as you take out your daggers. However, Dagur only chuckles/

Dagur: "You, too, Mr. Night Fury. And it's great to see my old battle buddy after so long! I see you still have those daggers from the arena."

Y/n: "It would be a lie to say the same for me."

Dagur only chuckles as Astrid tries to explain to Hiccup how she and the others got trapped, only for Dagur to snap at her.

Dagur: "Uh, quiet! Can't you see my brother, my battle buddy, and I are having a moment?"

Hiccup: "I'm not your brother and we are definitely not having a moment."

Dagur: "Oh, well, I was. Look at you two, all grown up! And quite the ladies' men, I'd wager. Hmm? Hmm?"

Y/n: "Stop trying to make small talk, Dag."

Dagur: *gasps happily* "You still remember my nickname! I remember yours, too, N/n!"

Y/n: "Ah, dammit..."

You sigh in frustration for letting that slip and you notice Hiccup looking at you weirdly.

Y/n: "Don't look at me like that. It's a long story!"

Hiccup raises a brow but shakes it off as he turns to glare at Dagur.

Hiccup: "Dagur, what do you want?"

Snotlout: "Duh." *blows hair out of face* "He wants the jewels."

Tuffnut: "He's not getting my family's jewels. No way! And I'll protect them at all cost! Also, what is with that hair?"

Snotlout: "Ha! It's royal hair, I'll have you know."

You groan at this as Dagur chuckles.

Dagur: "Haven't gotten rid of the Greek Chorus, I see."

Y/n: "And they're as annoying as ever."

Dagur: "Anyway, yes, I'll take the jewels. His too."

One of Dagur's men slams the butt of his weapon into Ruffnut's stomach and she spits out all the jewels she was holding. She glares at him.

Ruffnut: " Watch it, pal!"

The man only laughs, making Ruffnut spit one last jewel into his mouth and making the man choke.

Dagur: "Oops, thought that was the guy. Never can tell with those two. And I'll also take whatever it is you're hiding behind your back. Come on, hand it over like a good boy. Brothers and friends share, you know."

Hiccup looks over at you and you angrily nod. Hiccup then walks up to Dagur and hands him the cylinder.

Hiccup: "You know you're not going to get very far with that thing, right?"

Dagur: "Oh, boy, here we go. Must we always do the same dance, Hiccup, you and I? Not that you're not a fabulous dancer."

Toothless growls at the Berserker, only making him smile.

Hiccup: "Down, bud. Not yet."

Dagur: "That's right, Mr Night Fury. Today is not the day, but it's coming! And soon. Now, if you'll excuse me. I've got people to see, an army to build, revenge to plot. Ooh, so much to do and so little time! Isn't this exciting, Hiccup? What about you, Y/n? Feeling excited? You... you must have been so bored over the last three years."

Tuffnut: "Yeah, he's got a point about that. Not enough explosions. And Y/n's a medic now! Also, I want a backstory on the nicknames thing, "N/n"!"

Y/n: "Shut it, Tuff!"

Dagur chuckles again.

Dagur: "Alas, my time here has come to an end. Farewell, for now, brother. N/n. Until we meet again on the field of battle!"

He and his men then depart and jump on to another ship. They sail off and you, Hiccup, and Toothless run to save their friends. You all try to open the cage, but it was all for naught. Nothing seemed to be working.

Astrid: "Forget about us! Go after him!"

Snotlout: "What are you waiting for?!"

Hiccup: "Are you sure you guys will be okay?"

Y/n: "I'll stay here and help them. Just go!"

Hiccup nods and hops on Toothless. They take off into the air and fly after Dagur. However, one of the Berserker's men spotted them with a telescope.

Crew Member #1: "Here they come, sir! Just like you said."

The viking turns to his boss to see the grin on his face.

Dagur: "Still predictable, aren't you, brother?"

He turns to some of his men who were readying a catapult. he orders them to fire and the fling a boulder at the Rider-Dragon duo. However, they only dodge.

Hiccup: "You missed, brother!"

Dagur: "Oh, Hiccup. Didn't N/n tell you?" *smirks evilly* "I never miss."

Hiccup gasps in realization and turns just to see the boulder he dodged hit The Reaper. A giant hole forms and Y/n nearly falls to the floor as the ship began to sink.

Y/n: "Oh, come on!"

Dagur laughs as Hiccup turns to glare at him.

Dagur: "What's it going to be, Hiccup? Catch me? Save your friends? Ooh, tough one! Glad I'm not in your shoe."

Dagur laughs again as Hiccup tries to decide what to do.
