The best family

Heya guys! I'm back with another chapter! I don't really have any news, so let's get on with the chapter!

Cynthia's is going to be five in this chapter. Well, actually, it's the day before her fifth birthday, so technically still four. But you get it.

And if Cynthia and hiccup seem to not act like 4 year olds, don't judge. Writing 4 year olds is hard when your not a four year old yourself.

Disclaimer- I don't own anything in anyway, except for Cynthia.

Cynthia's POV

I yawned, sitting up. I looked around, and then smiled excitedly. I jumped out of bed, and ran downstairs.

I ran Into the kitchen, where my mom was, and bumped into the cabinet.

"Cynthia! Darling, be careful!" Mom exclaimed, helping me up.

"I'm alright mommy." I smiled up at her, "tomorrow's a big day!" I exclaim, throwing my arms into the air.

"Now what could tomorrow be?" Dad's voice suddenly rang out into the room.

I turn towards the door, and see him walking in.

"Well, it's not snoggletog...it's not sole lune...." He continued to think, and I crossed my arms, "I'm out of idea's." He finished.

I ran up to him, and grabbed his hands, shaking them around, "it's my birthday, daddy!" I exclaim.

"Oooohhhh, your birthday! How could we forget?" He picked me up, "how old will you be? Four?" He asked.

I giggled, "I'm four now, daddy. I'll be five!" I held up five fingers to show my point.

"That's right! Oh my little girls growing up so quickly, soon you'll be out of the house, fighting dragons like your old man." He said, tickling my stomach.

I laughed loudly, trying to push his hand away.

"Daddy, quit it!" I laughed.

He chuckled, and stopped tickling me. I giggled, laying my head on his shoulder.

"Just think about it. Tomorrow, you'll be five years old. You practically have one foot in the grave!" Dad exclaimed.

I lifted my head from his shoulder, looking at him with a confused stare, "huh?" I ask.

Mom chuckled, "think nothing of it, honey. Why don't you go sit down at the table, breakfast is almost ready?"

I nodded, and dad let me down. I ran over to the table, sitting down quickly.

A few minutes later, mom and dad joined me at the table. I hate quickly, and my mom chuckled.

"Cynthia, slow down, dear. You'll get a stomach ache." She said.

I shake my head, "I'm fine." I say, continuing to eat quickly.

Dad smiled at me, and I smiled back. I turned to mom, "mommy, can we go see Hiccup?" I ask.

She smiled, nodding, "after we eat, dear."

I cheered, and quickened my eating speed. I finished quickly, and got off the chair.

I ran to moms chair, and tried to pull her off.

She laughed, "let me finish, honey." She said.

I sighed, and sat criss cross on the floor, crossing my arms. Mom and dad chuckled, and continued to eat.

Soon they finished, and the minute the last morsel of food entered moms mouth, I jumped back to my feet.

I tugged on her arm, "can we go now? Can we go now, mommy? Pleaaasssse?" I pleaded.

Mom laughed, "alright dear, alright." She said, getting up.

She looked over at dad as she picked me up, "we'll be back soon." She said, and walked out.

I kicked my legs excitedly, "will Hiccup be there when I turn five, momma?" I asked.

She nodded, "yes dear." She said.

"Well, is he gonna give me a present too?" I tilt my head.

She chuckled, "I don't know. It's up to him, sweetheart."

I sighed, and we walked the rest of the way in silence.

Hiccup's house appeared in eye sight, and I squirmed in moms arms. She let me down, and I ran to the front door.

I was about to reach for the doorknob when I remembered what my mom had been trying to teach me.

I retracted my hand, and then knocked quietly.

Mom patted my shoulder, and then ran her hands through my hair. A second later, Stoick opened the door.

A wide grin spread across my face as I saw Hiccup on the stairs behind Stoick. I looked up at mom with pleading eyes, and she motioned me inside. I hugged her quickly before running in the house.

I ran over to the stairs, and tackled Hiccup in a hug. He stumbled back, before hugging me back.

"You wanna go play in the woods?" He asked as we pulled away.

I nodded excitedly, clapping quietly.

Hiccup grinned, and took my hand. He lead me to the back door, and we looked behind us to make sure mom and his dad weren't looking.

We smiled when we saw they were completely oblivious to what we were doing. I covered my mouth to muffle my giggle, and hiccup placed a finger to his mouth, which at the moment, was a wide smile.

He lead me out the door, and gently closed it behind us. As soon as the door was closed, I collapsed into a fit of giggles.

Hiccup laughed too, and started to run towards the woods.

I giggled, and started to run after him.

He stopped running for a minute, and turned around to face me.

"Betcha can't catch me!" He exclaimed.

I laughed, "here I come!" I yelled, and ran towards him.

He laughed, and ran away.

I kept running and laughing until I felt something hard hit my foot, and the next thing I know I was on the ground.

I felt a sharp pain in my knee, and let out a small cry.

"Cynthia?" Hiccups voice called.

I didn't respond, only let a few tears fall.

"Cynthia!" Hiccups voice called out again, and then I felt his presence next to me.

"I-it hurts H-Hiccup." I whimper quietly.

He places a hand on my shoulder, "it's okay. What hurts?" He asked, helping me sit up.

I show him my knee, and he smiled.

"It's just a little scrape, Cynthia. Don't worry." He said.

I sniffled, and took deep breaths, trying to calm down. He took my hands, and helped me up.

He bent down to my knee level, and gently touched around it. I winced, shutting my eyes.

Hiccup stood up, "you'll be alright." He smiled slightly, and took my arm.

He wrapped it around his neck, and helped me back towards the house.

Both Stoick and my mom quickly took to taking care of my small wound. I smiled slightly at hiccup.

"Thanks for helping me, hic." I say, kissing his cheek like it was something I did everyday.

He recoiled, wiping his cheek, "gross!" He exclaimed.

I giggled, and he narrowed his eyes playfully at me. He then lunged at me, and I squealed as I fell to the ground. We both started to wrestle.

"Never giggle at the dragon master!" He yelled, pinning me down.

I laughed, shoving him off, "oh yeah? Well I'm a moonshine!" I smile, sitting up.

He smirked, and lunged at me again. We both laughed as we wrestled.

"Alright kids, break it up." Mom suddenly pulled us apart.

I pouted up at her, and she smiled down at me.

"It's time to get going, honey." She said.

"What? But we just got here!" I whined.

She laughed, "come on, honey." She said, grabbing my hand and pulling me up to my feet.

I sighed, and nodded, "alright mommy." I say.

Hiccup stood up, and I smile slightly. I rush over to him, and grab him in a hug. He stumbled back, before I pulled away again.

I give him a closed eye smile, and run back to mom. She takes my hand, and we walk out of Hiccups house.

"Goodbye stoick! Thank you for having us over!" Mom yelled back over to the house.

"Anytime!" Stoick yelled back.

I turn to look back at the house, and wave.

"Bye hiccup!" I shout as I wave.

"Bye Cynthia!" Hiccup yelled back.

Mom and I walked for a few seconds in silence, before I looked up at her.

"When's the next time I'm gonna play with hiccup?" I ask.

She smiles, "maybe tomorrow, honey." She says, picking me up.

I smile, wrapping my arms around her neck, and laying my head on her shoulder tiredly.

"It's about time for your nap." Mom chuckled.

I shake my head slowly, "n-no...I'm not ti-" a big yawn cut me off, "tired." I finish, lazily shutting my eyes.

She laughed, and we entered my house, my dad's voice welcoming us before mom shut the door.

She walked up, and placed me in my little bed. She placed the cover over me, and I cuddled into them, closing my eyes again.

She kisses my forehead, and smiles. "Have a good nap, Cynthia." She says, and walks out of my room.

Hey guys! So, I know what you're going to say. 'Five year olds don't act like that.' Well, I honestly don't know how to write five year olds very well. But, it'll eventually get to the point where they're older, so please just bear with me.

And I also invented sole lune. It's sort of like a Viking version of valentines day. So, yea....

Anyway, I hope you enjoyed this chapter, and I'll be back with another one soon! Thanks!
