Chapter Twenty-Eight
Target grabbed Squid from behind and pulled him back. Lee and Stampy gasped and started trying to get Squid back. The dogs barked and bit Hit, making him let go. Hit fell to the ground, hissing in pain from the bite wounds of the dogs. He got up and ran away from them.
They went home and got the dogs back in their house, then were quite happy to have them back. They went inside and sat down, pretty exhausted.
"What a day, huh?" Stampy smiled. Lee nodded. "Yeah, it wasn't really what I expected." He chuckled. Squid smiled.
"I think we all need a rest, yeah?" Squid said, in which the two nodded. They went to their rooms.
"Good night, Lee Bear." Stampy smiled.
"G'night, Stamps!" Lee chuckled, going threw the painting to his own room. They slept without being interrupted, but boy were they sore when they woke up. Stampy sighed and stretched his arms, wincing at how sore they were.
Lee came downstairs, leaning on the wall and huffing softly. "You're sore too?" He asked, still in his pajamas. Stampy nodded, still in his own as well.
"Yep..." He sighed. "Do you think Squid's as sore as us?" He asked. Lee nodded. "I'm almost positive." He admitted.
Stampy nodded, walking out of the room with his friend; they looked for Squid. Squid was outside, sitting down, of course. "Hey, guys!" He called, waving them over. They came over and smiled, sitting down with him. "How are you?" Stampy asked.
"Sore as the Nether, let me tell ya, next time we fight evil villains taking over the world while trying to kill us, let's rest threw it." Squid joked, making the other two chuckle a bit.
"Really." Stampy nodded and smiled jokingly. That lightened the mood, but they were still hurting a bit.
"Do ya guys think we finally scared off HitTheTarget?" Lee smiled. The others nodded.
"I don't think so...I know so!" Stampy chuckled. Squid nodded. "Totally, I mean c'mon, look how scary we are, we've got a squid with a party hat, a fluffy bear with leggin's, and a big, orange, cake-loving kitty cat!" He chuckled, and the two nodded.
"We're pretty scary~" Stampy hissed, then chuckled. Squid and Lee nodded, smiling. "Hit must be petrified!" Squid joked and chuckled.
The rest of the day, they took it easy on the video, inviting some friends to come and play some mini games. They had a great time until the dog, Barnaby, started growling and barking randomly at Lee.
Stampy caught on to this. "Oh no..." He said, and everyone froze. Squid looked around for HTT, as well as pretty much everyone else.
"We should find him before he finds us!" Stampy exclaimed, then they pulled their weapons and began searching. They couldn't find Hit, but they were always on guard. Stampy stopped Barnaby from attacking Lee by distracting him with pets and games fetch.
Stampy sighed when the night rolled in, looking around one more time outside with Lee as the others had to go back to their own worlds.
"This is pointless. Maybe Barnaby was just acting up for some other reason...did I hit you or something?" Stampy asked, turning to Lee, only to find out he wasn't there anymore. "Huh!? Lee Bear!!" Stampy called out desperately.
-Some Other Place-
Hit drug Lee away with a hand over his mouth to prevent him to shout. Lee struggled, finally getting out of his grip and grabbing his sword, holding it over is chest in an attack stance. Hit glared and grabbed his own sword, lunging at Lee.
Lee brought his sword up in time to block the hit, gripping his sword by the handle. He wasn't strong enough to push him off, so he kicked HTT in the chest, having enough time to run away for a minute before turning back around and slashing his sword at the villain.
HitTheTarget knew he could take down Lee, since he did have his friends here anymore. Hit managed to get Lee on the ground, holding the sword to the bear's chest and growling down at him.
"Any last words?" Hit hissed. Lee nodded, laying his head on the ground and panting.
"Yeah..." He said. Hit waited.
"Behind...you..." Lee said. HTT's eyes widened a bit and he turned around, expecting to see Stampy there, but there was no one. Lee growled and grabbed his sword from the ground just a couple inches away and slashed Hit in the back.
HTT yelped in pain when the burn of Lee's sword cut threw him. He turned around and growled, attempting to go after him, but he was too weak. He huffed and fled from the forest he had brought him to. Lee panted and looked around, it was pitch black outside except for the slight purple glow of his sword from the enchants on it.
He walked around, trying to find his way back home when he heard a twig snap behind him.
