Chapter Sixty-Two
The three were hiding behind a tree, watching Future Stampy walk out of the house with two people. One was a...reindeer? The other was an elephant...this was strange.
Our Stampy was watching confusedly, trying to listen in on their conversations. They saw the three walk to another figure and identified it as Future Lee. Future Stampy, let's just cal him F. Stampy, walked to F. Lee with an angry look.
They went in closer to see what they were saying. Almost three minutes in, they were arguing with each other.
Our Stampy and Lee didn't understand why they were fighting with each other, they're best friends.
"You have no room to talk, don't forget I saved you when you were, how old? It was three. You were three." Stampy hissed.
"Well I'm sooooo sorry! How many times have I saved you from death, huh? Probably three-thousand." Lee retorted.
Stampy growled. "AT LEAST I WASNT GETTING KIDNAPPED BY HIT ALL THE TIME! "OH NO, IVE BEEN CAUGHT! STAMPY, SAVE ME!"" He yelled.
"I NEVER PLEADED FOR YA!" Lee yelled back. They were starting to get even more heated then they were before.
Our Stampy looked away, then at Lee. "Why do you think we're so mad at each other?" He asked. "I have no idea..." Lee said.
F. Lee was a bit more calm then F. Stampy was, but he was still really mad at him nonetheless.
F. Stampy huffed and walked away, as well as F. Lee. The two people behind Stampy followed him, agitating him even further.
The three snuck into F. Stampy's house and quietly walked up to him. F. Stampy turned around and was surprised to see them. He jumped back and gasped. "What the-!? Who are you!? Well, I know who you are, but why are you here!?" He grabbed something nearby to defend himself, but it was a broom.
"We didn't come here to hurt you! We promise! We're from the past, we're dealing with Hit..." He said. F. Stampy blinked. "You're...past me?" He asked, relaxing a little and putting the broom down. Stampy nodded.
"We are...Hit transported us here- he tricked us!" Our Stampy said. F. Stampy hummed. "I see." He said.
They talked a bit more before Our Stampy said: "We heard you and Lee talking outside, why do you guys hate each other?" He asked. F. Stampy sighed and looked away. "It's just- I don't know, it happened a while ago and we sort of grew apart, he's not in my videos anymore and he doesn't talk about me in his." F. Stampy said.
Our Stampy and Lee exchanged worried glances. "That's...awful...I couldn't imagine living without Lee." He said.
F. Stampy nodded. "That's how I felt." He sighed. "And I still feel that way, it's so strange without him here." He said. Our Stampy nodded. "Why don't you two make up?" He asked. F. Stampy shrugged. "I don't know...I don't think he misses me the same way as I miss him." He said. Stampy suddenly got an idea and smiled.
"Where is he staying right now?" He asked. "He decorated a little cave a whiles away." F. Stampy said. Our Stamps nodded. "We'll be right back!" He said.
They ran to the cave F. Stampy described and snuck in. They looked around the entrance, Lee was especially interested, since he pretty much decorated it.
The snuck to the kitchen where they found him mixing cake batter. Squid quietly chuckled. "Even after a long time you haven't changed your ways, Leematoad." He teased quietly. Our Lee rolled his eyes.
Stampy pretended to just walk in, having the other two stay back in case it was dangerous. When he entered, F. Lee didn't even look up. Stampy blinked.
"I was wonderin' how long it would take for you to come out from behind there." He said, still mixing the batter. Stampy blushed a little. "Uh...I..." He stammered. F. Lee looked up at him. "So what do you want?" He huffed.
"Well, we're from the past, and..." He said, biting his lip. "The past? Sure. Ya just trying to play a trick on me." F. Lee said. Our Stampy shook his head. "I'm not! Promise..." He said, then motioned for Squid and our Lee to come out.
F. Lee confusedly looked over and saw himself, he was speechless as one could imagine. "Wh-...how?" He said. "The Time Machine was destroyed!" He said, dropping the bowl of batter on the counter and walking backwards.
"Your Stampy was just as confused, but we came to tell you something." Our Stampy said. "...what is it?" F. Lee asked. Stampy sighed. "Well, we saw you two arguing out there, then we went to talk to your Stampy, but he, uh, I? We? I don't know...said that he missed you, do you feel the same?" Our Stampy asked. F. Lee looked away after just staring at him for a good three seconds. "Maybe." He said. Our Stampy smiled and grabbed his paw. "Good!" He said and ran out of the cave.
"Wha- hey!" F. Lee huffed, following anyway. The other two were close behind.
Our Stampy knocked on F. Stampy's door, to which he opened it and blinked. "Uh, hi again." He said, then saw Lee, or Lees, even the author is confused. F. Stampy looked away. "What is he doin' here?" He asked, trying to sound mad.
"I was dragged here..." F. Lee said, also trying to sound mad.
Our Stampy crossed his arms. "Listen, you two," He started. "I'm not going to sit here and let us be enemies, we're best friends! We, you guys, us, I guess, have been friends for 13 years, well, for the past you... Now just hug and make up already!" Our Stampy said, smiling a little.
F. Stampy and Lee looked at each other, then sighing a bit and hugging each other. Our Stampy clapped. "Yay! Friendship has been restored!" He said.
They pulled away and looked to different directions sheepishly. Our Stampy noticed they were blushing. He chuckled. "I guess in the future we'll have like-like feelings for each other..." He thought.
Once they figured out how to go back home, they said goodbye to theirselves and went back to their own time.
Stampy then turned to his friends. "Wait, when did he take you guys?" He asked, wondering how he didn't know that they had been taken, and felt awful for it.
"It was in the night, we both tried to fight him off, but he did something to make us go unconscious." Lee said. Stampy nodded. "Oh, alright. I'm just glad you guys are back." He smiled and wrapped an arm around each of their shoulders.
"We're glad to be back with you, Stamps." Squid smiled and Lee nodded.
After all of that happened, they decided to take a break from all of the monstrosity going around and just stayed inside.
"Hey, Squid-" Stampy went to turn to his friend, but found that he was gone. Stampy blinked and shrugged. He went to his room and walked outside on the balcony, looking out. He smiled and started reminiscing over some good memories.
This was the life, until he heard footsteps coming from under his house.
