Chapter Sixty-Five
Dark rain clouds laid across the sky like a blanket, covering up all of the beautiful blue colour it had to offer. Thunder boomed across the land, shaking the ground underneath the three. Lee winced helplessly, trying to get under the one tree that inhabited the tiny island he was resting on as rain started to relentlessly pour down.
Stampy and Squid had built a tiny hut to stay in, there was no way they would stay in the other building, there were probably many traps set for them. Stampy felt absolutely horrible, leaving Lee down there like that, but he had no choice! The drop was way too far down for them to try and climb themselves, they needed to make a quick plan. After minutes of pacing and fingernail-biting, Stampy spoke up.
"Okay, I might have an idea..."
Lee was still holding his leg tightly with his left hand, because his right wrist was broken. The pain wasn't subsiding, and the tide was rising on his little island, which wasn't a good thing.
He laid his head against the tree, wind rushing against him and rustling his fur. Lee was suddenly very breathless and tired, closing his eyes but not falling asleep.
He didn't know if it was the blood loss, or the situation he was in, but it made him have a small flashback to when he was younger. He only saw small glimpses, nothing with too much detail.
Tiny Lee Bear was laying against a tree, back against the hard oak as he was hiding from someone. He was trying to stay quiet, shaking as he gripped his leg, which had been gnawed open by a feral wolf. He was trying to cover it, because he was already starting to get eaten alive by bugs and flies.
He heard leaves crunching and gulped, trying to curl up in a ball, jumping slightly when he saw the person who spotted him.
They gasped, kneeling down. "Are you okay little fella? Where are your parents?" The stranger asked, in which Lee shook his head. He didn't know anymore.
"Oh gosh- okay, hmm...how about you stay with me until we find you a better place, yeah?" The stranger said. Lee had no choice. If he stayed out here, he would die, but if he went with the stranger, he could die, so it was either certain death, or uncertain death.
Lee hesitantly nodded, and the stranger smiled. "Alright! What's your name, little guy?" He asked.
After Lee had told him, the stranger smiled again and nodded.
"Well, hi, Lee! My name's Stampy! Welcome to the beginning of Stampy's lovely world!"
Sorry it's so short haha, but it was a little hard to remember what I had previously wrote in my notes, so I was just guessing on some parts! So this will be sort of a filler chapter, I'll try to do more chapters from now on!
