They looked and looked, night fell, and then Benton got a scent, in which the other two followed. Squid notified Stampy of this and him and LionMaker followed the dogs. They found Lee, looking up at the stars and sitting down on a tree stump. Stampy smiled.

"Lee Bear!" He exclaimed. Lee looked back at them and waved, standing up. "Hey. How'd you find me out here?" He asked. Stampy pointed to his dogs and smiled. Lee nodded. "I see." He smiled.

"We were worried about you!" Stampy said and hugged him tightly before letting go. "Sorry, I just wanted to clear my mind a bit." Lee explained. Stampy nodded. They heard something in the brush, turning to it and looking around in the dark.

They saw a little rabbit jump out and sighed, thinking it was something bad. LionMaker chuckled and turned around, then stared. Stampy looked over at him and tilted his head before turning around as well. He gasped and growled. The other two caught on to this and did the same, glaring at what was in front of them.

There stood Hit, Lee was right before. He had staged his own death. Stampy was so angered now, not being able to take much more of this villain. They pulled their weapons and charged, Hit doing the same.

They battled for what seems all night, being pretty skilled on both ends of them. Stampy gasped and froze when he saw Hit stab Lee threw his heart, then disappear in a cloud of smoke. He was in complete shock.

"No...no, no, no..." He whispered. He turned to Squid and LionMaker, who were in shock as well. "Stamps...I..." Squid muttered. Stampy shook his head and ran off, not wanting to see anyone. He ran home with his dogs following, they put themselves away, though.

He ran to his room and locked the door, then covered his face and shook his face. "You had one job! Protect him! You're an awful person!" He sobbed, falling to his knees and leaning against the wall. "This-This is awful..." He sobbed, wiping his eyes. He had lost his best friend to the likes of Hit.

He stayed in his room for the next day, before walking out and looking around. Everything seemed dull to him, even though everything was the exact same. He looked out the window and saw Squid and Amy talking by the ocean.

"He's really upset..." Amy sighed, looking down into the water. Squid nodded and closed his eyes. "I know how much he meant to him." He said quietly, then sighed and looked up. "Notch...this shouldn't of happened, Stampy'll never be the same without him." They were trying to avoid saying his name at all costs.

Stampy walked out and sat next to them. "Hey guys. What's going on?" He asked, more dull than usual. He was definitely more sad then anyone else.

A few days later...

Hit paced around his office, then glanced at the cage across from him where an alive bear was sitting. Lee glared and crossed his arms. "You're an evil, evil little bug." He hissed. Hit smirked. "Why, thank you~" He teased. "Alright, now listen. I put up a camera in Stampy's house, and for the first day or so, he was sad. But now, he's better then ever." Hit scoffed and showed him the video.

Lee was confused, feeling a sort of...sinking feeling in his stomach that he didn't like. The video played and Stampy was smiling, laughing with other friends, actually. He seemed even better now, then when Lee was with him.

This made him feel bad, he looked away from the video, sighing. Hit looked over at him. "Aw, so sad..." He teased and sat down. Lee looked over at him and glared before leaning against the wall and looking away. He didn't think Stampy would react like that. The video still played.

"Oh my Notch, I'm so glad that idiot died, he was so useless!" Squid chuckled, in which Stampy and Amy nodded. "Mhm, I really thought you wouldn't be acting the same, Stamps, but you proved me wrong." Amy smiled. Stampy chuckled. "I'm a lot happier without him, it feels like a big weight has been lifted off my shoulders!" He smiled.

Lee tried not to listen to it, but he couldn't. He looked away and wiped his eyes, huffing and glaring at the wall.
