3rd person POV

The graveyard was quiet, too quiet, a zombie bear gets out of the grave and crawling around looking for someone, he keeps crawling into he finds it

"Rest in peace jack Williams, the best father and general.... 1890-2006"

The bear sighs and stays beside his grave, into the same goo that made him come back gets in the tiger's grave, he raises from his grave, his face was torned apart, his stomach open, no organs, he looked at the bear

"What do you want? Kill me again?"
"N-no no! I want to say sorry, I really want to say sorry to you"

The Tiger sighs

"I know your not, you did all of that chaos and gave my child nightmares, I can't see her any more, but if you really want me to forgive you than yes, I forgive you but I still don't trust you"

Flippy smiles and hugs him trying to not think about the fact his stomach was open

"We're you this clingy?"
"Maybe"

The general giggled and Pat his had

"I may not trust you but i'm ok with this"
"Thanks, I missed you"
"I missed you too"

Some other zombie tree friends we're watching and smiling seeing them together being friendly to each other, they didn't know that they were an old couple before war happened, they don't think of telling the town or the other zombies yet

"How about we go to a place we always went?"
"Ok, but you will need to carry me"
"That's fine"

General picked flippy up and went to their favorite tree, it still had the J x F mark on it since they were 10 or 18

"It's still here"

Flippy smiled, general sit down under the tree holding flippy close to him, they hugged and stayed there, nothing was on their way to become a couple again, not even death
