You were sitting in Hagrid's hut waiting for him to return after he said he had to race up to the castle, when a knock on the large wooden door made you jump.

You made your way over wondering who else would be out in this weather. You looked through the window hoping to catch a glimpse of the person but the rain was so heavy that you could only see a distorted head of messy black hair.

You pulled the door back to see a drenched to the bone Harry.
"Oh hi Harry! Hagrid's out at the moment but come wait inside with me!" You beam at him as he comes through the door dripping wet.
"Exaresco," you mutter drying Harry's robes.
"Thanks y/n! So why are you here?" Harry asks as he sits beside you on the bench grabbing some pillows from across you making you blush as his hand skims over yours.
"Um. Just to talk I suppose, you?" I ask.
"Same. Ron and Hermione are doing charms homework and I couldn't find you so I came down here." Harry says blushing a bit when your eyes meet. The thought that he came looking for you makes your cheeks turn darker.

You talk for hours before starting to feel tired. Hagrid still hadn't returned and the rain droned on.
"I wonder what's taking him so long?" Harry wonders.
"Probably got trapped by Lockhart boasting about himself!" You laugh at the thought.
As Harry starts talking about something your head falls to his shoulder as you yawn. He grabs some cushions and lays down as you fall with him. You slowly fall asleep as Harry drapes an arm over you pulling you close.

It was late when Hagrid opened the door to his hut only to find the both of you snuggled up and sound asleep on the cushions. He chuckles quietly to himself as he wraps a blanket over you both before going to bed.
