I opened my eyes to find myself blinded by a bright light making me quickly shut them again.

Oh no! Bright light. Am I dead?

"She's awake Alpha." A voice croaked which seemed pretty close. My head was throbbing and the person who was speaking wasn't helping any. "I don't know what to tell you sir. This hasn't happened before has it?"

"I don't quite understand it myself-" His voice spoke, I opened my eyes squinting to look at him. He looked exhausted. The bags under his eyes even had bags, his hair was all awry and he wore the same clothes as when he did at ceremony or was that just his outfits of choice? I did not know.

He leaned over the bed, taking in all his features as he did the same thing to me. He had the slight bit of stubble growing along his jaw, his eyes were glistening their beautiful shade of blue with the touch of green that made them even more unique. He had perfect defined cheekbones and a jawline that could probably cut through anything if he tried. My eyes flashed to his soft lips that i wanted so bad to kiss. "How are you feeling?" His lips spoke, I didn't even acknowledge the fact that he was asking me a question.

"Wh-what?" I gulped averting my eyes from him and began looking around the room I was in. I wasn't in my bedroom that much I knew. It looked like I was in some hospital bed which made me sit straight up making me hold my head in pain as a shooting pain scorched through inside, making me feel dizzy.

Gabe lay me gently back on the comforting pillow giving me a concerned look. "You need to rest."

"I bet that's what you say to all the girls." I joked while gritting my teeth in pain as I held a palm to the side of my head. "Where am I?"

"You blacked out after the initiation, for what ever reason I do not know." The same voice, I had yet to identify to a face. The man was old and human? "Your in the infirmary."

"You're human?" I asked in disbelief.

"Why of course, what else could I be? I don't smell like dog do I?" He joked but then apologised to Gabe for saying such a thing.

I smile at him.

"This is Eugene. He is the packs doctor. His family has worked for us for generations." Gabe stated.

"It's nice to meet you, I'm-"

"Our Luna, Raina." He finished for me.

"So werewolves huh?" I asked quirking my eyebrow.

He chuckled softly and opened his mouth to speak when suddenly he was interrupted by Will who stood anxiously at the door. "Sorry to bother you Alpha but we have a minor problem." His voice was frantic and serious, then looked at me and gave me a small apologetic smile then looked back at my mate.

Gabe took his gaze off me and glared furiously at Will. "If it's minor why the hell are you interrupting me!" He was angry. Again.

Will looked down and apologised again.

"I'm fine. I don't need a babysitter, I'll just be here watching-" I grabbed the remote that was sitting on the bedside table and turned on the TV, the first thing coming on was spongebob. "Cartoons."

He looked back at me as I spoke furrowing his brows. "No I-" He tried.

I put my hand on top of his and gave him a slight smile of reassurance. "It's okay, you're an Alpha and your pack needs you."

"But you need me." He was frowning.

"I've lasted this long haven't I? I'm sure I can wait a little longer, also I don't think I've seen the episode yet." I grinned.

He didn't say anything after that. He just got up and left the room with Will.

He's infuriating. He's darn right pissing me off. Again. First he doesn't even acknowledge me and then the next he's so ill-mannered and ignorant towards me like I'm a person with feelings.

Turns out I had already seen that episode of spongebob, several times in fact. Eugene asked if I needed anything but I told him I would be fine. The time started ticking by and I was still lying in bed watching cartoons. Then Tess suddenly ran through the door and jumped onto my bed with Lexi casually walking behind holding a laptop.

"Oh my goddess, your awake!" Tess squeaked with her body all tangled up as she hugged me tightly.

"For someone as small as you, you sure are heavy," I groaned prying her hands away.

Tess let go but shuffled herself at the bottom of the bed. Lexi had brought a chair closer to me sitting on it while typing away on her laptop. Computer geek;)

I was eager to know what she was focusing so hard on so I asked her. "You're pretty good with laptops I see?"

She looked up and gave me a sheepish grin, nodding. "Well someone has to be. With porn addict Andy livin' in da house someone has to defeat those pesky viruses."

My eyes widened at her words but then chuckling after along with her and Tess. Eugene padded his way into the room once again. He caught sight of Tess and Lexi and gave them both hellos and smiles which they did back.

"Ah Tee I've been looking for you. I wanted to talk about training." He spoke addressing Tess.

She stood up pulling down her flowy skirt turning to him and nodded cheerfully.

"Training? Pack doctors fight?" I asked, it sounded a little peculiar.

Eugene chuckled. "I'm glad you think that at my age I'm fit to do such things but no dear, Tess is training to be a pack doctor."

I smiled at that. "That's pretty impressive."

She shrugged at that innocently. "Yeah violence is so icky and stupid like why resort to such behaviour, most guys who pick fights are just big dumb galoots who think they are some type Hercules."

I bit my lip at her comment. Violence is bad. Stupid Rai-Rai. I'm innocent, I kid you not.

Liesssssss. 

"Shush will you, you're killing off every bit of my brain!" Lexi groaned.

'Aww yeah. I forgot about that I'm officially apart of the pack meaning mind link is an option. Have fun Gabe. Even when you're not here I can still annoy the shit out of you.'

'Don't be stupid.' Will's voice spoke.

'But stupid is so much more fun.' I retorted.

'Bring it pup!' His voice growled loudly. Holy shit! I could practically feel the vibrations of his hostile roar.

'Bring what?'
